    As someone who is about to dive into freelance web design from software engineering, THANK YOU! This was awesome.

    Just for using Webflow you should already charge more than 1000$. If you charge so low the ecosystem of website designers in Webflow will be degraded if everyone does the same.

    How do you deal with clients who believe that their monthly subscription essentially makes you an on-call employee and demand an amount of your time/work that significantly impacts your ability to work with other clients?

    • @Ivanovic82
      @Ivanovic82 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I’d stop being available on the phone and instead create a “ticket” system. The monthly subscription should only include what you agreed upon beforehand. But that’s my guess.

    Great video man. Thanks for sharing your business with us. Would love to hear more about how much effort the monthly upkeep really is and maybe some sales tactics for monthly payments.

    This is really interesting. I'm quite interested about adapting a similar subscription model. Do you imagine doing a more comprehensive explanation of your subscription plan for freelancers like myself who are interested in offering similar subscription plans?

      @strawberryaImonds 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is honestly a great question. Hope he does. If you did do something similar tho I would definitely charge a little more in subscription fees and then add ons would be extra as well to overall monthly price. $195 for website upkeep and maintenance is cheap. Just my opinion, I could be a fucking idiot and talking out my ass LOL Great video tho

    Hey Kevin, great video but I was wondering how you cover your overhead costs? Since youre going through webflow to host that shit can be expensive. I charge my clients the hosting fee's a design fee and a maintenance fee. If you could respond that'd be great. I'm very new to this line of work but I love designing and helping out small business.

    Great idea! Will definitely be looking into this. Do you plan to eventually increase your pricing, as $195 sounds very cheap, especially with the extra services such as the personalised photography for the site?

    • @revivingstars
      @revivingstars ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t understand what the other web designers have to say when they charge 5000$ per month on their subscription models. So this makes me think you just use free templates and 0 customisation. Other than this, I can’t justify your time and selling your services so cheap.

    i think that a better business model might be to charge a reasonable fee for the website and then to have different monthly subscription plans starting at 39$/month for hosting only and up to 295$ for way more support. i don't think all businesses are willing to spend 200$/month when they need very little changes to their website if any at all while others would. Not sure "One price fits all" is that great for most potential client actually....

  • @susisuuu9
    @susisuuu9 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

    Hi! This is such a great idea!
    But I'm wondering if you charge something extra at the beggining for launching the web and then the subscription plan, or you just delivered the entire website for only 195$? And if they cancelled subscription the next month? I supossed that you haved some kind of permanence in the contract?
    Thank you sooo much for share your knowledge and experience!

      Yes, Anybody would do that to get cheap website. I have looked into the sites he has built, theyre pretty simple so 195$ makes sense. If I were to do something like this, I would probably finish the a website design project and then present them with this subscription.

    If i want to start creating sites for a larger amount of people, can i do that on only 1 account of webflow and give acces to individuals to each project separately? Is there sutch subscription or u need to buy for each client a different subscription upon their needs for example exomers etc etc?

  • @Jasperinvests
    @Jasperinvests ปีที่แล้ว

    Interesting model for sure. Is the client locked into a subscription for a minimum amount of time? What if they cancel after 3 months and you've built them a website for $600?

    • @IgoSize
      @IgoSize 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Don't know if it's still relevant for you, but having checked out his website, the model protects from unethical customers (i.e. pay $195 for a full website and cancel immediately) - when clients pause or cancel a membership, he temporarily unpublishes their website until they reactivate their membership. Clients also have the ability to buy out a website for ~$4k for the cheapest package. Very unconventional and interesting.
