Is it proper to wind a watch repeatedly back and forth, clockwise and counter clockwise? I've been told by the expert technicians at IWC that a watch should only be wound clockwise.
Clockwise usually winds the mainspring and CCW should have an escape that lets the crown "free" spin at least for most modern watches (hence the clicking sounds)!
Another well done review, Bob. This particular time piece isn't quite my style, but I enjoyed the video nonetheless. I do have to say with regards to the dial, however, that the power reserve feature is an excellent touch.
