- Today, I’m testing out Carpro Lift. It’s a first step Pre-Wash Foam that helps loosen and remove grime and dirt before you hand wash. Check out the video for more info.

I enjoyed the video. I have a similar paint color. It's been raining alot & commuter car. Valuable tips, and thanks for showing us the home setup. It also helps.
Thanks for watching!
How about a foaming pre-wash showdown between CarPro Lift and Koch Chemie SuperFoam? That should get you over the 5,000 subscriber mark.
I don’t have SF and I wouldn’t know how to show the difference. SF is a higher PH and I’d suspect it’s reality strong.
We actually have this same body style RAV4, same white and everything.
Idk if it's the aerodynamics or something else but I swear the lower sides are constantly dirty and they get dirty again almost immediately.
It's annoying enough that I usually double coat that area when doing my protection.
I think it’s the tires kick up the dirt and it sits a bit higher
Awesome video and product review brother
Ty
Nice video. Do you think you would have gotten more bite out of the product if you didnt pre-rinse first?
That’s always up in the air. Am I diluting it by pre-rinsing, yes, but at the same time I’m getting rid of loose particles that would stand in between the product and dirt. I like to just spray and let sit most the time.
@@DetailingBreakdown thanks. I haven’t tried this kind of product/technique before.
I'm with Ben. It feels like a crap shoot tbh and just depends on the type and texture of the dirt and grime you have to deal with. Right now in Utah for example a higher pH obviously helps over a straight pH neutral soap but I struggle with road salt and mineral buildup in the winter and spring so I get more bite out of carpro descale or spiking my regular soap to make it more acidic/giving a quick prespray with a water spot remover or in really bad cases I find heavily diluting super clean wheel cleaner and using it as a prespray works wonders.
I was looking into lift but seems like an APC like green start works better
Ya, more uses with APC but nice to have a soap that is dedicated
Solid product
Yes, it’s solid
Needs a stronger solution and/or no pre-rinse
Definitely, but it wasn’t bad for what it was
How would you compare it to Koch Chemie Active Foam??
I like active foam better for the scent. This could be stronger although they seem similar.
Is your car ceramic coated in this video?
Yes
Any idea how this compares to the Bilt Hamber pre-washes?
I’ve used both. Carpro lift at 4:1 vs bilthamber touch less at 1:1 and I can’t tell the difference but everyone swears by bilthamber.
Probably buy Lift as it’s easy to pick up
Have you tested oberks aps?
No
I have some just tried it not impressed 1 bet. I think these big companies like Gyeon and carpro they’re all hype. So about 2 oz.. that’s what I used 😢 it’s sad stuff bro.
Compared to what? What r u saying or have tried that’s better in your opinion?
@@DetailingBreakdown kraken 9.5 APC rinse , and 3D super pre soak . Or use apex auto wash with 3 oz kraken. But by far the best in breaking down I seen is 3D it will even pull brown out of tire. While it soaks. I even tried the Gtechniq citrus wash, and that wasn’t good at all either.
@@nachomandetailingservices1057 with Kracken ur talking APC and that’s not the same. 3D PreSoak is definitely stronger but u can’t use that often. If u want really strong try Super soap from Loch Chemie. But those r PH 12 soaps from KC and 3D. This is a 10-11 which is a bit easier in the car. Some people have actually tested this to be around a 9. More along the lines of KC Active foam. Easier on paint but with a bit of a kick.
@@DetailingBreakdown ya I’ll need to by some I have there nano manic soap. So I guess I try there other soap see what it can do
@@nachomandetailingservices1057 lol super soak is just an apc. its not ph neutral either
