Well if you think about being 23 versus under 18 that's already 5 years. It's more about age appropriateness. And even at 23 you're still really young so there's no rush but don't psych yourself and get too busy because 33 and 43 come by really quick and before you know it you never got married or had kids

Currently a year back she predicted my brother's wife was going to have a baby and lord behold we got the news on January which we had a gender reveal party later in the year which told us it was a boy. So happy for my brother and his wife and the new member of their family.👍🏽
I guess I stayed too long in my family to know all that stuff and finally decided I don't have time to satisfy other people's expectations. I'm happy that you found your soulmate, hopefully you and your partner are strong enough to cope with all those typical questions. I had mine. He was my soulmate and best friend. He died in our bed back in January. He had pancreatitis and didn’t know and it ended up Hemorrhaging and he bled out internally. I had to give him mouth to mouth and cpr until the Paramedics got there. They worked on him for what felt like forever. I assumed they would put him on the stretcher and take him to the hospital and make him better, but when they came out 30 minutes later they looked at me and said…..I’m sorry but your friend is gone. 💔 some days are better than others, I can smile and laugh. Too many people get married for the wrong reasons (like family pressure or fear of being alone) and that is why divorce rates are so high. I think people are either to write or two left with the subject and divorce is ugly but it's also not destined for everyone. A strong marriage takes intention by both individuals. And the blame is not always on the other person don't get me wrong during the situations where someone's personal baggage May derail the whole thing but a lot of our traumas that we carry as adults are carried over from our childhood or young adulthood. Those are things that we should be working on every day individually and together when in a partnership so growth can continue to happen.
I think people don't realise that it is work to keep a relationship going there will be ups and downs and each time you get through it makes the relationship even stronger and the love gets deeper. It would be easy to move on after the honeymoon stage I wish people told me this when I was younger that it's not all fairytale love. The rates of fertility problems for people are beginning to skyrocket even amoung early 30s due to diet, exercise, lifestyle, polutants, birth control in water sources(nit easily jf at all filterable), etc. It is starting to creep into a rise in infertility among late 20 year olds as well, though not yet at a concerning level and we don't know if that trend will continue. Everyone I've heard on this platform, on others, or in real life talking about waiting who had kids mid-30s had complications. Some admitted to stillbirths or just stopped talking about wanting kids. I'm not saying to rush, just to know that unless you have a lot of money, waiting can make things a lot harder physically, emotionally, and mentally. After all, doctors will start telling women at 35 not to tell anyone about a pregnancy until I think 3 months in because of the increased rate of stillbirths. Considering most people who want to get married also want kids, saying "what if she doesn't want kids" is moot. As long as people understand this, I don't care what risks they choose to take. Like she said, though, she doesn't think about it often, which would concern me if I was a family member.

My mom always does something similar but with kids. I have no plan to have kids, I don't think I'll ever be well enough to handle someones upbringing and guide a stable life for fresh and fragile mind, I feel very strongly about this. If I ever do something, (most often related to my poor mental health) that my mother doesn't approve, she'll say something along the lines of "You can't be doing that kind of stuff when you have kids" or "Ok well when you have kids you'll have to do this whether you like it or not" " _When_ you have kids you'll know how this feels" It's upsetting that parents just expect their children will get married and have kids, almost as a courtesy to them. i like this take. we all only have one life to live in this world, so let people have their own options and make their own choices. i hate it when single, childless people shame those who choose to get married and have a whole gaggle of rugrats. its no better than the people who bully those who dont yet have families. just because one side may shame and pressure another side more doesnt give them the right to shame or bully back. that being said, i believe that across the board, one will never find true happiness from kids, a spouse, a career, or anything outside of themselves. true happiness comes from within.

My daughter got married last month and she is 30 years old. I think everyone and I mean everyone should wait until their 20s are behind them. I really feel like your 20s are when you’re trying to figure out who you are, what you want to do with your life, how you want to live your life, and what avenue of a work life you would like to pursue and you have lots of options because you are not bogged down by supporting anyone else except yourself, and you should date date date and date some more in your 20s. I feel like in your 30s you should know what you want to do with your life and in the direction that your life is going, you should have goals and plans and be setting and working towards those, and I feel like maybe you are a little more relaxed and you are mature enough to make the decision to be with one individual for the rest of your life.
27 is the best year for women who want to have kids. Not too soon but not too close to the 35 number where pregnancy can start to become problematic. There is a reason doctors call pregnancy after 35, geriatric pregnancies. Biology designed women to have children in there 20s at at the latest early 30s.
People used to marry young in the past. That was the norm. My mom married when she was 19. My grandmother when she was 16 I think. My great great great grandmother probably when she was 12. I plan to when I'm 25 but not like I have anyone in mind lol. My 2 girl cousins married when they were 24. I think 25 or older is a good age to marry. If you go to university then complete your degrees first before marriage. You don't want to be doing a PHD and have a child on the side. That's tough

@@popefrancis8153 the human race isn't gonna die out anytime soon and we're currently overpopulating the earth bc of our numbers and our cost of living is too draining for the planet (place to live, garbage, electricity, etc...) so I don't see why more people being single is such a bad thing. Also it's not like the human species dying out is a bad thing, it's good for the planet, animals, plants.

IMO, I think everyone should get married at some point in their life because it feels good to have someone listening to you because parents and friends won't be with me every time so you need someone who listen to your rambling every time . the concept of dating is not accepted in Muslim religion .

But if they were to get married, they would want it with someone truly special to them so they can live happily with them. However if they were desperate to get married then yes i suppose your method would work because you can risk never getting married if you're looking for the perfect 10/10 partner. After my dad died, my mom told me " I was very happily married to your father for 60 years. I can't imagine loving a person more. But, had I never got married, never had kids, I think I also could have been very happy, just different. There are many roads to happiness, choose yours, and never be afraid to change course."
Marriage has never been my idea of the dream, and though I have a wonderful child, having a bunch of kids never sounded fulfilling to me, either. I think a lot of my generation were raised my mothers who had kids, or more kids, even though it was not truly their own idea of happiness.

i like this take. we all only have one life to live in this world, so let people have their own options and make their own choices. i hate it when single, childless people shame those who choose to get married and have a whole gaggle of rugrats. its no better than the people who bully those who dont yet have families. just because one side may shame and pressure another side more doesnt give them the right to shame or bully back.
that being said, i believe that across the board, one will never find true happiness from kids, a spouse, a career, or anything outside of themselves. true happiness comes from within.

My daughter got married last month and she is 30 years old. I think everyone and I mean everyone should wait until their 20s are behind them. I really feel like your 20s are when you’re trying to figure out who you are, what you want to do with your life, how you want to live your life, and what avenue of a work life you would like to pursue and you have lots of options because you are not bogged down by supporting anyone else except yourself, and you should date date date and date some more in your 20s. I feel like in your 30s you should know what you want to do with your life and in the direction that your life is going, you should have goals and plans and be setting and working towards those, and I feel like maybe you are a little more relaxed and you are mature enough to make the decision to be with one individual for the rest of your life.
27 is the best year for women who want to have kids. Not too soon but not too close to the 35 number where pregnancy can start to become problematic. There is a reason doctors call pregnancy after 35, geriatric pregnancies. Biology designed women to have children in there 20s at at the latest early 30s.
Bad advice
People used to marry young in the past. That was the norm. My mom married when she was 19. My grandmother when she was 16 I think. My great great great grandmother probably when she was 12. I plan to when I'm 25 but not like I have anyone in mind lol. My 2 girl cousins married when they were 24. I think 25 or older is a good age to marry. If you go to university then complete your degrees first before marriage. You don't want to be doing a PHD and have a child on the side. That's tough
