Teo’s gonna be fine. Yoshi’s back Tuesday and will hopefully be strong for October. Tyler Glasnow’s making progress. Nothing is a sure thing, but if everything goes smoothly, we’ll be in a good spot. Now if only we can get our GemStone back. 😫
The Dodgers bullpen really stepped it up with Gavin Stone on the IL. The good news is Teoscar Hernandez is alright and should be back against the Cubs. LET'S GO DODGERS!
I’m still really concerned about Gavin. Fingers crossed he experiences zero setbacks so he can be there for us in the playoffs. I want to see all these players get a ring.
All pitchers were no walks except Wrobleski's 4. Bullpen day on this day was commendable, VESIA was especially good, and the Dodgers were very good. Keep it up Dodgers!!!
Dude you must have cooked out there I hope you stay hydrated. I was I was 30 miles south of Chavez Ravine and Dodger Stadium but got caught out in the heat for 2 hours on my travels home to Fullerton by the time I got home I was baked and passed out for a couple of hours
5 HR and 4 SB in 20 games is light work for Ohtani. Especially when you consider the fact that the Dodger's play 6 games against Colorado and 3 games against Miami this month. 😅
@@ElegantSnipez It’s probably only new to me but I’ll never get that mouthful of Pepsi back after reading, “DBags”, no matter how much I lick this laptop’s keyboard.
I didn’t watch the game but was just following the box stat on the game. I thought Ohtani had a horrible game but after watching the highlight he had a very good game. He had a couple hits that could have been home runs.
As long as you guys continue to throw fastballs you’re not going anywhere, that’s one of the reasons many pitchers have trouble getting innings done. Back in the day Schilling, Martinez, Maddux, used to have a great arsenal pitching ability, they used to mixed them all curve, slider, cutter and fastball, today’s pitchers don’t work on that, how can you dominate othani and Mookie with fastballs?
@@esencia67 I recall hearing that early season scouting reports on the Dodgers showed that they struggled as a team against high heat. I guess they’ve addressed that problem (?)

@@stevenroyer8731imagine having a third of your projected 9 Batter starting lineup out for at least a third of the season imagine havining pitchers so banged up they've gone on the injured list more than 20 times as an aggregate already in 2024 and STILL having one of the best records in baseball.

THE DODGE have a different hit celebration every seaso...starting in APRIL. One year it was a side of the helmet head knock. They've never switched it mid season. Not likely to change it till next seaso. In any case what does a celebratory thing the players do have to do with pride month?
It's still worrying that Ohtani's in a slump, but ironically, it just reminds me that he's on a strong team that can win even when he’s not hitting. Well, I’ve learned that *"worrying about Ohtani is pointless,"* so I expect he'll move closer to 50/50 again tomorrow. Plus, the Dodgers will take the series against the Guardians.💙🤞
Ohtani is struggling cuz he's going for home run swings instead of swinging for contact. I say that well see the same ohtani once he's at the 50 homer mark.
@@TheAisenz0rz I don’t think Ohtani is prioritizing his 50/50 record over the team, but seeing him take big swings and strike out makes it seem like his focus is shifting. I really hope he hits those milestones soon and stops being in "Schwarber mode."😅
@@gachapawn6663 yeah, of course, you're absolutely right. Opposing pitchers clearly shift gears when Ohtani's up, and in key moments, they even bring in lefties just to try and take him down.😅
@@arthurtats Hmm, when I reviewed the pitch on my phone, the ball was outside of the box. I was unable to see precisely, but it appeared to possibly be just barely touching the outer edge of the box, making it about as close as a strike comes to being a ball. It wouldn’t have been entirely unusual for an ump to call that pitch a ball, so it’s easy to understand if Barnes thought it was outside and looked concerned as a result. If you thought the ump robbed you, you might have cause to appear displeased, I’m guessing.

Imagine how much home runs Mookie would had if he didn’t get injured 🤕
He could've had 40 homers and probably 2nd in mvp for the 2nd straight year
He certainly would've challenged Shohei for the MVP.
@xian0307 yes because before he got injured I think he was like 4th in mvp
imagine.. I don't really about the season, he needs to step up in the post season and deliver the Parade.
I think it was a blessing in disguise for him and the team. He looks refreshed and ready for playoff ball.
