Debonder is your friend when removing things that have been super glued. The trick is to dry off the excess debonder and let it dry for about an hour or two before re-gluing.
TIP....before you add the pikes the best way is to wash the armour with black paint mixed white spirit , leave it for a day then wire wool it off, gives the best looking metal armour....hope that will be a good tip...I learned that from Kevin Dallimore, thats after you clean the figure up of the flash.
