Sour cream everywhere in the Baltics. Hope you all had a great time in the Baltics and looking forward to some new videos from where ever you are now :)
Loving your adventures. I did many of the same trips in the late 80's and 90's. I was in Tallinn 3 months after the Russians left and they got their independence, so it's great to see how things have changed in all the cities you visit. It's great to see the progress in Estonia, the people there were really welcoming and everything was dirt cheap then, but I guess it's become more touristy and affluent since.
Only spent 4 nights in total across the Baltics but I fell in love with them. I'm aiming to go back to Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius and spending at least a week in each. So affordable, interesting and diverse places.
Love this video! I was born in Tallinn, and have visited it hundreds of times. I remember plucking out of few straws out of those roofs in the historical park.
The smokey smell from those old houses 8:00 is because Estonians didn't have chimneys. It is because of cold winters etc. People were living in smoke, most of them suffered from early blindness.. but you got to do what you go to do to keep your family warm during -20 degrees of Celsius winters.
The woman at 07:00 looks like she is performing whilst she needs to go to the toilet really bad! Love your channel guys, saw your travels in the Netherlands and been following you ever since. The Baltic states are really awesome, all tiny but brave countries. When you go further south to Poland, make sure you visit Krakow, We visited this city last summer, and it is single-handedly the most awesome medieval city centre in Europe. And that comes from a guy that lives in Utrecht, the 2nd most awesome medieval city centre ;). Enjoy!
Strange, that you missed Open Air Museum in Riga Latvia, it`s one of the oldest and biggest in Europa. I want just remind that all 3 capitals of The Baltic States Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius are on the UNESCO Heritage List. Those cities are my favorite destination in Europe. Greetings from Norway!
Wow ! What an amazing place and home and lifestyle I love watching your take on things and those pancakes looked delicious! Will have to visit Estonia someday looks lovely . 👍🏻💙❤️😎🎥🎬👍🏻🇪🇪👍🏻
I remember there was a lot of liver and boiled cabbage in the school dinners we had in the 70's. Although we did also have chocolate pudding with chocolate custard, so it wasn't all bad :-)
Mark Caswell I used to love liver and onion and cabbage, I hated custard and swapped my pudding for a main. My favourite was minced beef and onion mmmmm
Lynne Curtis Pommes noisettes for school dinner? What sort of school did you go to??? I went to a fairly decent school until 1975 and the food there was so disgusting that I brought in a packed lunch, or went out and bought something to eat.
Lynne Curtis You liked Liver and cabbage for school dinners I literally died the day we had that stuff! Do not remember pommes noisettes (did they really call them that in England?) but i went to school late 80s- 90s.
I feel sorry for Nikita falling off the swing, I didn't stop laughing for ten minutes. I know from experience you can generally find cheaper food in restaurants where the locals eat. Those pancake/crepe things looked very tasty.
Ok first of all I hate myself for not knowing this place existed. Second, those pancakes and that coffee looked so good! Were they potato based pancakes? I think those are usually the ones that are paired with savory foods like chicken and cheese.
If you come to Tallinn, I recommend visiting the area of the old mental hospital Seewald, which is really exciting! The history of the place and a longer introduction in the video description :) th-cam.com/video/fYe1as97NnA/w-d-xo.html
I love those Tallinn cards! There are so many museums to visit and a ton of other activities included for the price. I always tell people visiting Tallinn to check them out. You all are reminding me so much of my spring time trip, it was my fifth time visiting Tallinn. Old town is amazing as is the open air museum. The music festival grounds are pretty awesome too.
Talinn is a lovely city. These vlogs are not following in sequence though, are they? Last one Nikita seemed to have divested himself of his upper lip adornment, but in this latest one it's back! Or am I imagining things...
Yeah we actually had to post the previous vlog a little early since it was a collab and we all wanted to post on the same day, but we'll be caught up very soon, sorry for the confusion! (and yes, the stache will be disappearing soon 😂)
The centre of Tallin is not completely original, when I was there several times in 1999 / 2000 it was being completely renovated and was one huge building site, best pace was The Wolf's Breath bar were they served the best draught Guinness I like they way you guys take a good mouthfull of food when you are tasting something for the first time, too many people fart around by only tasting a minute sample that wouldn't feed a goldfish.
Come to Dubai Dubai is very beautiful for trust Come to purge Khalifa Burj Al Arab And go to maul of emirates Dubai Mall It’s very beautiful Dubai I love it And you can’t to go to Abu Dhabi and charge job and everywhere you can’t to go
all europe conntries are same in buildings, houses ,streets, resturants vibes, weather, oldtowns, people Faces,traditions..etc EXCEPT language and history
Did not show any of tremendous colourful old Tallinn at all, mostly showing off yourselves chomping on food.. And some minibits of views and old houses. You are really that obsessed with yourselves? Waiting for an hour to show off typical crêpes, while lots of authentic Tallinn cafes and restaurants are out there.. Tallin is a world heritage site.. This video is obviously not..
We don't usually chew with our mouths open (pet peeve of mine actually), but it's tough in a vlog or a social setting where you're always talking when the camera's out 👍 - Eric
I see what you mean when I watch other vloggers, but it's not solely an American thing. Chewing with mouth open (and slurping) is common in Asian countries too...and probably in other non-European cultures. Those habits are not considered rude at all.
@hh - I guess that I would expect westerners to be better "mannered" in the UK we are taught at school how to hold our cutlery and are repeatedly told off if we "eat with our mouths open" which often lead to some smart alec saying "how do I get my food in if I can't open my mouth?" lol.
That's a funny comeback. I can only speak from my experience in American public schools, and we definitely didn't have dining etiquette education. That would be interesting if we did. But I guess it also depends on one's individual upbringing...my mother is from Central America, but she taught us not to chew with our mouth open..whereas my Asian father unashamedly chews like a cow.

7:22 look closely or you will miss it. Where my mom lived as a child. She would be 93 yrs. old now.
That was so funny when the swing started to fall 😂
I was born there. Wonderful old town!

Love this video! I was born in Tallinn, and have visited it hundreds of times. I remember plucking out of few straws out of those roofs in the historical park.
I love that your food makes you happy happy!
The smokey smell from those old houses 8:00 is because Estonians didn't have chimneys. It is because of cold winters etc. People were living in smoke, most of them suffered from early blindness.. but you got to do what you go to do to keep your family warm during -20 degrees of Celsius winters.

Those potato balls are called in Western Europe pommes noisettes we ate these for school dinners in England in the seventies.

I don't think they were potato based, but they still worked pretty well!

Are these city cards available all over Europe?
It seems like most cities have them. We always check in advance because it's well worth it 👍
I love those Tallinn cards!

Not quite, just neighboring countries
Tallinn its my home

You're right. As much as I like this video, more shots of the Old Town would be great.
Wow what an absolute loser comment 😂
Why do Americans have to chew with their mouths open? Nearly every video that has Americans eating, they open their mouths when chewing.
We don't usually chew with our mouths open (pet peeve of mine actually), but it's tough in a vlog or a social setting where you're always talking when the camera's out 👍 - Eric
