I’ve been making this with fresh pineapple and omfg this is mine and my husband’s new favorite meal🤤 It is AMAZING and so easy to make! The chicken marinates in the sauce so well, makes it extra tender and juicy as it cooks😍 It is so filling and doesn’t even make me bloat or disrupt my stomach! Love a healthy meal that also tastes so good🙌🏽👌🏽 10/10 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 It’s also super versatile! I like to add more chicken to mine to make it more full of protein👌🏽

I've just made this for my meal it was scrummy I live on my own there was no way I'd share this i ate the lot.......I winged it tbh but used muscovado brown sugar instead it was delicious the ginger being the most important ingredient I think....now I can make it often very easily Thank you 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗im new here so ill look at your other videos for a quick and easy wok session for one person it's ideal..... perfect.
Omg I made this tonight and felt like a chef! It came out sooo good, I had a fresh pineapple so I used lemon juice with water instead of pineapple juice and added a can of black beans to rice.

I'm making this today at the rest home I wrk in as a chef! I use yr recipes alot, because they are comforting and have alot of flavor. The elderly have diminished taste buds, so you need to amp up the flavor! 🥰💐

This is my favorite cooking channel. Just a quick note: when I do wok dish like this. I usually put the garlic gloves and ginger slices first so that the flavor really gets into the oil. I think I will be trying this one.

I just finished making this, recipe! and give it a thumbs up!!!!!!!😊. but the next time I make the sauce I will add corn starch to thicken the sauce. and instead of rice I will add Raman noodles and use Korrs chicken broth. with the soy sauce and brown sugar.. this was so easy to make but I finished it off in the oven on 350 for 15 minutes. ❤
(1) All those things you mentioned are healthy and (2) this is an eastern style recipe, so it is inappropriate to use cream. Asians generally have a milk sensitivity. That's why it doesn't appear in their cooking.
This dish looks delicious but I'm wondering about the "extra sauce" mentioned around 2:46 in the video. I checked other comments to see if anyone asked the question but I don't think anyone did. That's in the finished dish. You had used up all the pineapple sauce, and you had the siracha at the time the dish is ready with the cilantro. What is the mixture in that "extra sauce". Thanks
For sweet and sour, I'd normally coat and fry the chicken in cornflour, egg and seasoned flour before frying to give the chicken that signature crispy batter like coating. The sauce is similar but has more sugar, ketchup and vinegar in it too.
Def going to have a go at this - If you wanted the chicken to have a crispy coating like they do at the Chinese, would you just dip them in flour? What kind? Thanks
Question: Are cornflour and plain flour interchangeable in recipes? I noticed that you used cornflour in this one and plain flour in the Lancashire Hotpot. Presumably both were to help thicken the sauce, but what's the difference?

The extra sauce is most likely from the stir fry juice
