this performance is just more proof that you can bend radiohead into different performance types [marching band, choir, orchestra] and it always sounds good and refreshingly different. good job!
When I was working with the choir I told them how poignant this line was in the song and that we really needed to reflect this in our singing, so I’m glad it has resonated with you ❤
@@savagesingingsessions Amazing arrangement and performance. Captured the core emotion so beautifully. I'm reminded of this performance of a brass arrangement of Radiohead's Motion Picture Soundtrack by a community band up in Calgary. th-cam.com/video/ZeI0PXj7LIw/w-d-xo.html (warning, this is at a funeral, many tears ahead)
It's so amazing reading these comments, I was part of this choir and it was such a privilege to sing this beautiful song. Being part of the choir and hearing the sound we created was such an emotional experience. Roisin is an absolute genius!

A year ago this month one of the best friends I’ve ever had lost his battle to addiction. He told me he used to cry to this song. Now I am too. Thank you for this rendition
for such a strong song that lots of people find very hard to sing, they did absolutely amazing and as a radiohead fan i very much approve of this performance
There's something very eerie about a whole choir of people singing a song about suicide. The whole meaning of the song changes. It's not just one person with anxiety/depression, but an entire society that is longing for death. As others have said, the performance and harmonies are amazing - but to me, the most striking thing about this performance is just that it's being sung by multiple people, at all. It's very effective.
@@CosmicHase that's a fraction of it, as is the whole theme of Ok Computer. How the corrupt society harms us and how is difficult to live in it. In this song, conteplating suicide is a consequence of it all.
I've watched this at least once a day for the past week. This is the most amazing rendition of one of my favorite songs I've ever heard. I'm in choir and I can't even imagine us sounding this angelic 😅 great job to everyone singing in this choir!! This video gives me chills every time I hear it.
This was such a powerful song to sing with the choir. You can really hear the emotion in our voices. The lyrics are so impactful and relatable for so many. Such a great choice of song by Roisin. Loved learning it.
I cried. It beat me. This version captures to the many of us that feel this song what our thoughts are while in different parts of the world in a single room. Its hard to describe, but to put it simply, yes we are sad, no we are not alone.
I just do love Radiohead and this song used to push me to tears, but you all made me almost cry more than Thom Yorke ever did. You're such a stunning, breathtaking choir 👍❤
Crying, this is personally my breaking down song - hearing it done this way was changing, melting my heart and brain and got me into such a calm, warm state. I love this, amazing job, don't ever stop
I love how they’re all wearing simple but different coloured clothes. It just totally adds to the unity and the atmosphere

this one reminds me a ton of the choir version of Creep that was used in The Social Network's trailer
Could be said for almost all music
@@Vfulncchl well yea ppl could do covers and perform it in different styles too idk what's his point is 😂

@@hanafirjl well for instance a green day probably wouldn’t really work that well sung by a choir

Seeing all their mouths move in unison as they all sing “they don’t speak for us” is frightening and amazing

You can hear Thom Yorke's small vocal inflections in the performance. A++ arrangement and execution.
