FROM BACH TO RADIOHEAD Michael Thomas, violin and conductor José Manuel Zapata, tenor Rubén Rubio, viola da gamba Juan Francisco Padilla, guitar and orchestration Orquesta Ciudad de Granada - OCG
I wonder if Radiohead members are sitting at home during quarantine just randomly watching people cover their songs and are at awe by it. Jonny would love this.
RH sounding so good in an orchestra, like it was composed for them. I like the burst of energy and intensity towards the end contrasting the lullaby-like quality of the rest of it. I wish more people will play their songs.
My son’s performing arts school’s upset jazz band played paranoid android and it was ah-mazing!!! Radiohead music is pure art so of course translates perfectly to the orchestra, bands & such.
Check out Madison Cunningham's (solo) version of this.. STUNNING..! (actually, it's her on guitar and the vocal, and Tyler Chester on piano.. It is truly amazing). 🎶😌🎶❣️👍
A heart that's full up like a landfill A job that slowly kills you Bruises that won't heal You look so tired, unhappy Bring down the government They don't, they don't speak for us I'll take a quiet life A handshake of carbon monoxide And no alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises Silent, silent This is my final fit My final bellyache With no alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises, please Such a pretty house And such a pretty garden No alarms and no surprises (get me out of here) No alarms and no surprises (get me out of here) No alarms and no surprises, please (get me out of here)
I live in Iran, many of my friends and I listen to Radiohead, and this made me cry, relazing I can never go to their concert in my country, and that I have to immigrate and leave everything behind to have a basic life where I can go to my favorite Band's concert and live a normal life, so i hope we bring down the government, they dont speak for us.
Respect across mus8c genres is real respect. The first time I heard this tune was late at night and I literally stopped my car to listen. Staggering tune.
The original song is already depressed, but this one took it to another level. I don't know when I listen to this version. I feel sad about something I don't experience.
I was watching the guitar player looking around and loving it, and thought it must have been his idea. Checked the description and - No Surprises - he orchestrated it. It's beautiful. The guitarists obvious joy with what was happening around him added to that. Thank you for uploading.... And now I just saw who uploaded the vid. Well, a whole heap of love to you, man. I smiled through tears listening to this. x
This is a marvellous melody:it sounds so depressing and so soothing at the same time! It sounds like you are in despair, but you have already put up with your faith and you don't care anymore...
that was the Greatest cover of this song ive ever heard in my life. restored faith in humanity +1. thank you 2 everybody in the band . that was amazing.
Just found out that dr. Bruce Banner besides being a professor in science is also a maestro in guitar. I love this orchestral video cover so much :") thank you.
Pieza tan hermosa, sin letra cambia el panorama y la música se vuelve subjetiva, cada quien le da la interpretación que mas le guste, en lo personal me encanta.
This song hold such a hold on me, it was playing when I first saw my boyfriend on our first date and each time I hear it, I don’t get sad. I think of him and I get the biggest cheeky smile and remember him coming up to me on his motorcycle and me being so shy. I hope to play this version at our wedding someday. 🙈
I first listen this song last year this song gives myself a lot of questions for me after that my granny passed away this song give me strong feelings to think about life... And this symphony i found it at the same time and this is the most beautiful feeling i feel when i listen to it ❤
Jonny Greenwood did do a full orchestration of this track, along with the rest of OK Computer. He’s done the same with other songs & albums He’s won awards and at least one Oscar for writing film scores.
This makes me feel a feeling I didn’t know existed. No surprises brings back so many memories, genuinely one of the best covers I’ve heard, made me shed a tear

well he would say no surprise
@@AfrizalAnoda Yep. No surprise there.
I think they have more important things to do...
I'd be sitting home enjoying other people's music. Sure I'd check out performances like this, but mostly I'd look elsewhere
No, they are not. You are welcome.
I would’ve been sobbing in that audience.. a performance that needed complete silence from the audience, absolutely stunning
crybaby bitch boy wah wahhhh wahhhh

I am at a loud bar watching it with noise cancelling headphones and I almost weeping

Yes! That's the message of the song i believe. Conveyed perfectly.

Jonny Greenwoood (Radiohead's lead guitar) is a classical trained composer and oscar nominee for best score in many movies.
I cant help myself, Juan Francisco Padilla- the smiling guitarist makes the vibe of the song so bright and full of joy. Thank you for this song.
He puts a smile across my face amongst all of the somberness
Radiohead has composed some of the most beautiful Melodies in history
I used to heal myself with this song when I was exhausted.
Las composiciones de Radiohead son verdaderas obras de arte, su sensibilidad se eleva más allá que ningún otro grupo.
Beautiful, brings me to tears. Man I love Radiohead and what a gorgeous performance. This really is such a timeless song.
