A good routine and keeping hair moisturized is so important. A lot of type 4 naturals say you can't grow your hair with wash-n-go styling, but I've been able to grow my hair long and wear a wash-n-go about 90% of the time. Technique and consistency are important. For me, it was important to cleanse and restyle frequently. So I cleanse, condition, and style my hair 2x per week. That has been key in avoiding tangles and knots and keeps my hair moisturized as well. I think the routine you use very much depends on the type of styling you wish to use. Once-a-week cleansing and conditioning are great if you wear twists or braids, but more frequent cleansing and conditioning may be needed for wearing loose coily hair.

I love your hair and videos and sis you are so beautiful!! I also love your walk In Christ!! You encourage me a lot!!! Keep doing what your doing 🌹🌹🌹 and you help me a lot in my hair journey! I am also 4c type with thick hair and I have low porosity. I am almost coming out of the TWA 😅 however I noticed that in order for products to get in my hair I have to use heat or else it would just sit up there!!! I do this even when applying leave in conditioner nowadays. Thanks for the video
You can also use a hot towel and wrap it around your head, to help the oils penetrate. You can put the towel in the dryer, if you have access to one in your home; it really works.
My hair is always twisted out of the way as my go to protective style but because my twists are not that long I find it difficult to tuck the ends away. All I can do is to pull it into a ponytail so that it doesn't rub on my clothes. I want to ask if that is enough to protect my ends.
You may style your twists into a style and secure with bobby pins. I used to do that when my hair was shorter. It requires some creativity - you may roll and pin etc also, make sure to keep ends well moisturized weekly.
Hello there, the thing with protein overload is the frequency of it’s use. While protein strengthens the hair and helps to repair damage, if protein products are used too frequently (daily perhaps) there is a potential for overload and hence breakage. Our leave-in conditioner is not recommended for daily use rather on as needed basis - whenever the hair needs to be rehydrated. If used in moderation, your hair should be fine. I tell you that it is very hydrating, moisturizing and softening to the hair. But I understand your caution against protein. I’m not promising that there will be a leave-in conditioner without protein but it is perhaps something to consider.
I am have chronic anemia caused by iron deficiency. My hair used to be very thick and full, now its breaking with the slightest touch and is thin with a brittle coarse texture. It does not grow at all, still the same length for 2 years.
Dear, I had this problem few years ago. But now I'm fine! I'm natural since february 2020 and my hair hits 11-12 inches (27-30 cm). I take my iron pills or syrup everyday, i eat more vegetables (celery, spinach), i drink 2-3 L per day, drink hibiscus juice sometimes, I do some health checkout, I have an heathy hair routine and that's help me a lot. I hope you'll have some results soon.

Hello- Will you be coming out with a leave- in conditioner without protein? Protein overload causes breakage. Thank you..
