Good judgement. That thing would lively even be fatal to a human with shot placement. Very dangerous indeed.
We need an uncensored channel
BOOGALOO!
Love it bro
I wonder how many barns burned down because of that dangerous mouse trap besides the people that accidentally shot themselves in the face with it. This one should never be used by someone that doesn't know anything about firearms, Shawn is a professional so he knows it's dangerous. I'd plug that barrel and just use it for display.
The fact that this isn’t the Mousket infuriates me
OMG hahahah that's the cutest name for a MOUSE CANNON
Love it
That's what the mice shoot back with
😂😂😂👍

Imagine having multiple of these around the house and at the middle of the night you wake up to the sound of ww2
With blood on you walls and legless rats charred and bleeding.
🤣
IM DEAD😂
@@mabelcorn2798 So is the rat.
More like battle of Antium
Love how the decoy mouse squeaked after being shot. It's comical really.
"It's comical really"
Friendship No mice were harmed in the making of this video, besides some minor hearing damage I guarantee happened
Dusty I didn’t notice till I saw your comment. 😂😂😂
When you absolutely positively need to erase a mouse from existance and you don't care about collateral damage, accept no substitutes.
just don't stub your toe on it going for a midnight snack.
How about a few sticks of dynamite? The rodent eats and when they trip the trigger, you got a big hole where their last meal was.
@@smee5437 Depending on the location, amount of dynamite, and what animal was blown up? That might just be a hole lot of trouble. Don't let kids play around it, either.
@@smee5437 Eh, I would leave the dynamite to the Looney Tunes.
@@smee5437always one of you to ruin the joke
Came to see a mousetrap in action, left with rifle history knowledge.
it was awesome wasn't it :)
It was a bit unexpected, but we also learned about another side of Shawn. A flintlock rifle and a percussion cap muzzle loading rifle.
Same here. Can’t say I didn’t Enjoy it tho
Hi Shawn, I recently saw a YT warning message on a PoliceActivity new video. Maybe this can help your channel.
Joshua H not disappointed!
I love how after the cap goes off the rat goes right back to eating like nothing happened, I wish I had that level of concentration.
Yes. So much for using sonic noise generators to scare away the mice and rats. Hunger overcomes fear of noise.
Don't we all,Adam?
He probably lost his hearing
That trap needs semi-auto multi shots.
you're just not hungry enough
This really gives a new meaning to "Mauser"
More like emphasized the original meaning.
i hate to burst your bubble but its pronounced "mowzer". i call it the mouskateer.
@@richardlooch2109 This joke works in German anyway. :)
@@richardlooch2109 It works since "Maus" means mouse too, and both are pronounced identically
Mouseket
There is nothing like hearing a cannon shot in middle of night and keep sleeping knowing that your trap did a good job.
i think the barn is far away from his house.
@@richardlooch2109 that thing is pretty loud tho
Until you hear your sons girlfriend screaming
Or your dog just got slotted 😆
Or you heard a polish mice with RPGs just blastin like it's the 4th of July. Nothing that odd right?
TH-cam: “Shawn, you can’t keep killing rats, we’re too sensitive to traps that stab and slice and crush and drown rats!”
Shawn: “so anyway, I started blastin’ “
You just made my week

Turned from a mouse trap vid to learning how to load a muzzleloader.
You would know a lot about that, wouldn't you, Honest Abe?

it would result in the clubbing and trampling of the idiot who set it up and alerted literally everyone to your position.
@@richardlooch2109 Got the dirty rat though, and that's all that matters.
That's the principle behind perimeter alarms that use a tripwire to set off a shotgun cartridge
Imagine farmers who put LARGE firecrackers in the attic and walls as fire alarms running outside in their long johns....
That didnt scare him too much, probably from a rough neighbourhood
Ed19601:That reply was GREATTTTTTTT!!!!!!! LMAO
😂😂😂
That rat is a gangsta thug!
You know damn well that rat is hearing ringing in his ears after that loud as bang, probably for a couple days too lol
Bruh lmao!
This is the most unnecessarily expensive and dangerous mouse trap ever made. Love it
I think the one that used an actual pistol was a bit more over the top... but this one is close.
Well everything during 19 century is pretty much unnecessary expensive and dangerous
@@Scar1etznot really, everything back then was extremely cheap bc there's still alot of natural resources and the industry didn't need all of them.. *yet*
Dude, the mess after using that would be gnarly haha.
"I'm pretty sure you can't leave a cannon unattended". So funny
Should ask Biden for his opinion on leaving a Canon unattended lol

@God's Child No, that was the same mouse. He only went 4 inches away, still on camera.

Actually Wyle E. Coyote doesn't invent this stuff. He simply buys it from Acme.

Hilarious concept! Now I can picture a bandana wearing moustachioed mouse with a little cheese flag - mounting a bayonet charge. BANG! "How goes the battle, Mouse? (Gasp) "...not..very Gouda."
He just shot a Mousket
"Call in general Gorgonzola."
Two questions. 1) Was this originally made by the ACME company with one W.E. Coyote as the sales rep?
2) Does this come as a 32 pounder?
Yes to both questions
Imagine hearing a gunshot in the middle of the night and turns out it wasn’t the trap

”Let’s just shoot the mice and rats, because why not”
@JimiVita-aho, YES. As a matter of fact, it does give more satisfaction. I had a mole in my lawn that was ruining the whole thing and I couldn't catch him. Finally set up a mini-boom in a prescription bottle, mole pushed dirt into trigger and boom! It happened about 3am and I just woke up, smiled, and went right back to sleep. Found mole in the morning in a fair number of pieces! :-)

TH-cam: HE SAID NIPPLE!!!
That's what I thought of haha
the joke work work if the video has two midrolls or it's one of those god awful jokes that some people don't get the joke and get wooooshed
It gets better than that in the world of traditional muzzleloading. Not only are there nipples but there are cocks, touchholes, ramrods, and greased balls.

@@jeffb546 lol
This by far is one of your best videos. We got a double treat.. watching you load up your rifle and you showing us how the Cannon Mouse Trap works. Enjoyed the video very much . Thumbs up on this one.
Showing how it doesn't work more like . . .
I love how the cut at 7:11 makes it seem like the mouse was right next to him just waiting for him to finish setting it up
I love how Shawn always goes for the safer route, I wish I had as much integrity is him lol
Holy cow, I love this thing... I know that sounds malicious, but I find it absolutely fascinating how they designed mouse traps hundreds of years ago.
I don't think anyone back then or most people now care about a trespasser stealing from the barn.
@@donnienicholson6062... facts don't care about your feelings. People care about their food stock being defiled by mice both back then AND now.
Imagine stepping on that thing accidentally. Bye bye toes lol
But on the bright side, you probably wouldn't be concerned about the mouse problem anymore... 😄😄😄 Sorry, I just had to.
I bet it would felt like stubbing your toes
Cars explode every day. How's that for your imagination ?
This is what stepping on a lego in russia feels like.
Rather this than Lego.😁
Kind of a Bummer that he didn’t actually load it up for the mouse to get shot lol that’s the whole reason I clicked on the video

Came for the mouse trap, stayed for the muzzle loader. Excellent video, mate.
3:18 - 3:50 now you know why old wars took so long to finish
So would this have killed the mouse or given him a lifetime disability?
8:31 Nevermind, I got my answer 🙂
Whoa. Thanks for the civil war history lesson. That rifle looked cool and the trap was neat.
This reminds me of a sam onella video
"Have you ever looked at a mousetrap and thought, 'Hmm, not enough property damage.'"
Nah, GrayStillPlays.
Keep doing what you're doing.
Great stuff! And a history lesson gotta love it!
Thank you Shawn! I too was fascinated by the fact that the animals were hardly deterred by the exploding cap.
I appreciated the mini history lesson with the trap :)
Mouse trap Monday in a nut shell: now that you know how to load and shoot a civil war rifle let try out this mouse trap
You ever look at a mouse trap and go "hmm, not enough property damage"
(From Sam O' Nella)
So next week: "DIY turn your authentic 1862 muzzle loader into a rat trap!"
Great video Shawn. I can easily see someone losing a finger or worse if that were left loaded and unattended. I am glad you showed us how it works.
Great video Shawn! I really liked the musket tutorial and explanation before the cannon.
I like how this was supposed to be a mouse trap vid but came out with so much more knowledge😂
I hope you read this Shawn! I fell asleep with your videos playing on my tv. It made me dream about that I met you at your place, it seemed I made you so happy when I told you that I've seen all of your videos. 😄
You had a family and relative gathering and I got to meet some of them. Kind of feels like I know you now! 😁
Anyway, I know it was just a dream but it was so weird and fun to dream a so detailed dream about someone I don't really know..
One of your relatives asked me something about what I did in "garbage garden" but I don't think that place even exists 😆
Anyway I thought this would bring you at least some joy knowing that you've become something big and affecting people all around the world.🐀
Greetings from Sweden! 🇸🇪
This is hands down my favorite Mouse Trap Monday with the Civil War education. Great video!
Man, that's a people trap that for legal reasons needs to be marketed and reasonably designed as a mousetrap
Oh man, your description at 8:30 is golden. I have subscribed!!
"It's not legal to have a cannon that could go off any time." lmao, some cannon
At a point in time people were okay with being woken up by a 22 at 3:00 AM 🤣
Another great video Shawn. Thanks!
This is great when you are sleeping and it goes off in 3 am :D
The percussion cap you're using is too big, that's a musket cap, it looks like you need a #10 or #11 size cap, it should be snug on the nipple, not loose and flopping around.

Dude...You do the most awesome videos!!! I love it. Extremely inventive!!!
Dude!! What a marksman!! How did this dude hit that bottle from that far??!! That a lot of practice....thanks for video, enjoyed the history lesson.
Rat: "Careful skunk it's a trap!"

Great video and great collection!
I learned a lot, thanks!
I wish we could see it go off for real
"i don't think it's legal" jajajajaja it was the third reason! 😆😆😆😆😆
Ahhh I see the TH-cam algo is bringing me to places.
And I wasn't disappointed with this one. Time to binge watch this channel.
Subbed!
Was that the end of the line then or are there mouse optimised claymores knocking about certain US states?
And if so, any tips or tricks on how you train a cat how to set up and operate them?
I Love how this house trap has the same hammer as the Rifles from the American Civil war.
Here’s a fun fact: there were repeaters and revolvers in the civil war
7:06
I dont have remotely the right sized cap. Im using a 209 shotgun primer instead of a #10 or #11 muzzleloading nipple cap.
Really cool video. Keep up the good work
Just leave a loaded handgun (with a hair trigger ) lying around in the house is the equivalent of this mouse trap!
You'd have to put peanut butter on it.
Imagine being drunk and accidentally activate that trap than you would have to tell stories in the pub why you don't have toe...
Nah, you just tell them you shot it off. Embellish the rest of the story as you see fit...
Probably the coolest thing I have ever seen....in regards to mouse traps that is.
The rifle lesson is super cool!
Hahahaha ... that mouse looked like the cartoon explosion faces ....
TH-cam: De-mouse-itized
This is so overkill, love it
that would be a cool tiny cannon just a few modifications like wheels and a better trigger system.
