Thanks for sharing your journey on the trail. And I hope you have since found joy and a sense of accomplishment for completing it💕 I am inspired to do the same.
Your trek reminds me of when I did Cook's Lookout Trail a few years back. I struggled on some of the stairs but the view from the top was worth it. My sister-in-law ran it with her dog at the same time. She had no problem but I was sore for a couple of days after that. Silver Mine Path Trail is quite scenic and I loved the drone footage. Keep doing the short treks as you will eventually build up for the longer ones. Thanks for sharing.
Loved the drone footage. Gives a complete different perspective of the trail for me. Good on ya for pushing through and getting it done. 30° C with humidity factor, I would say played a very big part in what wore you out! As it would most people. I think you should definitely feel accomplished. Hope you stick with. I've found its as good for the mind as it is for the physical body. 👍👍
Great Video! My Dad used to fish for cod from shore standing on those rocks. :) And listen..., you're round like me, and that's a shape!
Lol been called that shape a few times lol. I've only seen people fishing from the cliffs for cod once.
ya did it/ the talking is part of the journey for me/ here's a pat on the back and well deserved!

Cook's Lookout is definitely worth the view. I can see one of my childhood homes from up there.
@@Meandering_Newfoundlander I believe the house in Burin Bay where your father grew up is for sale.
I love that you still went for it, regardless of how loud the stories are in your head. Happy trails and keep moving forward.
Thanks! Hoping to keep at it.

I think I need to ditch the backpack for a couple of hikes. At least lighten the load because I had it packed as if heading out for the night.
