Gilbert Gottfried's "You Fool!" answer-a-thon has to be the funniest failure in TV history. It went on for a long time and kept getting funnier as it progressed.
I am not sure that you can count the Catch-21 thing as a fail. There was nothing that she could have done since the third player was frozen which meant that she could not give the card to him. She was simply caught in a no-win situation.
The "cupine" answer wasn't the only hilarious response to that question. The family member at the face off tried to say "Loin" but her accent kept causing it to come out "lawn". Steve can't understand what the hell she is trying to say, so she attempts to spell it out for him and spells it wrong. "LOIN. L.I.O.N.LOIN!"
funniest one i saw live was on wheel of fortune, when Pat Sajak gives the wheel a “final spin” and he hit Bankrupt several times in a row, and they kept playing the sound effect 😂
problem with including Robin on Catch 21 as a "fail" is that she was honestly screwed either way when she did that. She had 200 points compared to Paul at 1200 and the 3rd player with 400 and on Catch 21 after 2 rounds (which with those point totals it would have been) they say goodbye to the player with the least amount of points so either she keeps the card going over 21 and getting eliminated that way or she gives Paul the 21 and still gets eliminated so even in a fail its not like she had a good choice either way
On the same "Pork" question one of his family member couldn't pronounce "Loin"..she kept saying lion but they gave it to her anyway. Also the older man that answered Alligator also answered... What is Russia famous for ? His answer "Russians".
To be fair, the oldest version of Family Feud had a very strict time limit. The contestants had at best 1 second to think of an answer if they wanted to get through all the questions, thus encouraging them to blurt out the first thing that came to mind

1st question on Millionaire fail According to the nursery rhyme, what did Little Jack Horner pull from a pie? A: Ribbon B. Plum C: Blackbird D: Little Jill Horner And he says i was afraid of Nursery Rhymes as early Questions here but i think i know this one...... Blackbird
I was really young, but I did see the "three-letter animal" duo of "frog" and "alligator" on the original "Family Feud" when it first went out. Even as a kid, I thought it was pretty surreal (not that I knew the word surreal at the time)!
I wouldn't have included Robin on the list since if she would've taken it, she would've gone over. So, the guy in the middle would've continued anyways. Hentai for the win. Nekkid Huh?
No, it doesn't make sense! The question was "Name something that comes after the word 'Pork.' " Notice that "pork" ends with the letter "k." So, "pork upine" wouldn't make sense because there's no "k" in "porcupine." You don't believe me, look it up in a dictionary.

It reminded me of a fail on UK's _Blockbusters_ where a contestant answered "orgasm" when the correct "O" answer was "organism".
@@JamesDavy2009 🤣
Gilbert Gottfried made the "YOU FOOL" moment a win, not a fail!
win for the funny, fail for them not getting the obvious questions right, so could count as both.
The Popeye's "Chicken" fail should have been #1 :)
I loved watching that era of Hollywood Squares
All-Star Family Fortunes - Name a type of bean?
Family Feud USA is a gold mine of game show fails.
A few honorable mentions:
- "Chicken" (Family Feud Canada)
- "Another word for Mother" (Steve Harvey's Family Feud)
- "Foreign car" (The Newlywed's Game)
- "Magic (anything but) wand" (Wheel of Fortune)
What else deserves a facepalm - I mean honorable mention?
I was hoping someone would mention Mommy/ MomMY/ MOMmy!!
A group of pills pushers !
This is Wheel of Fortune !
It's well wishers . 😅 😊
Pork pie? I just recently discovered the awesomeness that is poutine, must I try pork pie?
All the JEOPARDY!, Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right fails.
The copper Statue of Liberty would have originally had a nice patina but it has of course turned green
It is awesome to watch these game shows
I'm confused as usual. What is porkwood?
@2:35 Did she have a choice? As the 3rd contestant froze, either she busted or her opponent Won. She was trapped.
Exactly! No-win situation for her!
To be fair, last summer here in Colorado we had three summer storms. One came with rain, the other two came with snow.
15. the one time saying "Hentai for the win" is actually accurate
"You Fool" is still a classic
1st question on Millionaire fail
According to the nursery rhyme, what did Little Jack
Horner pull from a pie?
A: Ribbon
B. Plum
C: Blackbird
D: Little Jill Horner
And he says i was afraid of Nursery Rhymes as early Questions here but i think i know this one...... Blackbird
I was really young, but I did see the "three-letter animal" duo of "frog" and "alligator" on the original "Family Feud" when it first went out. Even as a kid, I thought it was pretty surreal (not that I knew the word surreal at the time)!
I think my favorite game show oof would be "pork cupine" on Family Feud. Steve LOST IT!
Please make pork upine and self potato a thing 😂😂I
Also September. Oddly specific 🤔
Question:
Would an orange sherbet cream soda float be considered a Slam Dunk?
I wouldn't have included Robin on the list since if she would've taken it, she would've gone over. So, the guy in the middle would've continued anyways. Hentai for the win. Nekkid Huh?
If January was the ninth month of my mother's pregnancy, then she was most certainly showing in September! LOL

Gotta love^
Johnny Crunch
& in an even more obscure reference,
FRED FUCKS!
The pork -upine one does kinda make sense 🤷♀️😅😂
Doesn't that start with "C"?
Considering it's spelled porcupine, no it does not lmao
No, it doesn't make sense!
The question was "Name something that comes after the word 'Pork.' " Notice that "pork" ends with the letter "k." So, "pork upine" wouldn't make sense because there's no "k" in "porcupine."
You don't believe me, look it up in a dictionary.
Same way "pot ato" kinda makes sense :)

I'm not sure what you're talking about.
I wish we had Steve Harvey's Family Feud here in the UK. It has to be one of the funniest things on TV.
