You know in the south US we slice and dust our green tomatoes with seasoned flour and fry them, but I think your recipe sounds like something we would love. A great video, thank you 🙏
Thank you! We know of fried green tomatoes because of the film, but have never tried it! Maybe next year as we're sure we'll have green tomatoes again, we've not had much luck with tomatoes on the boat yet!
Yes, definitely do the Caldon and Leek as part of your Stoke journey. The museum at Cheddleton on the Caldon will add to your knowledge of the history of the area.
Fly agaric mushroom is the home of fairies and magical creatures and a lover of birch woodland, where it helps trees by transferring nutrients into their roots, but if eaten can cause hallucinations and psychotic reactions great rare fund. 👍
You two are adorable, such lovely people. Thanks for sharing your story. How cute was that mushroom ... if you lick it you could go all 'Alice in Wonderland' :D Claire x
Thank you so much! We were both so excited about the mushroom! Not sure how people discovered it was hallucinogenic though, it doesn't look good to lick/eat at all!!
My tomatoes didnt ripen either , I think as Stu said was too wet and July was not that warm either oh and you mean Bill Bryson.. I've read all his books. he is sooooo funny
