In the old days many impoundments were flooded before proper preparation was done. Many reservoirs have trees and stumps below the surface, lurking, waiting for outdrives to snag. Cole Lake Service always cleared the areas to be flooded. Those lakes are still being enjoyed. That they are clearing the Wixom lake basin is just plain Great!!
