    Hi! I want to buy the Exway Wave, but I've seen many posts on TH-cam and Reddit where users had issue with the brakes locking up at 15-20mph. One person had the battery replaced, but is still experiencing issues. Do you know why this is happening? Has this been resolved? The most recent post I've seen with this issue is from 6 months ago.

      That’s odd, mine is perfectly fine, you need to keep in mind that this board been around for years and is very popular, they probably sell a lot of these, so those who have problems are like 1% , it’s normal that some boards sometimes have some like issues.

      actually is pretty good quality, but the same as the maxfind there are no branded trucks, the power button on the board is pretty generic same as the remote control, actually is well built, haven't any issues with it, but when comparing with trist trucks on the exway wave or shraders trucks on the meepo there is a difference, the wowgo mini 2 have bat trucks and rubberized power button. in comparison to the other boards have to get less points, on it's on it's fine

    Hi, im here to ask for recommendation. I live in a hilly place and need to go up and down stairs and hills, I was wondering that Vestar M2 might be better with its 2lb lighter weight and handle. Arent motor power and battery the determinants of hill climbing ability? And so its hard for me to decide bw vestar (27'', 25mph, handle) vs meepo (cheaper by 200, no handle, 30'') vs tynee (30'' too, but better build quality, 2lb heavier than vestar) vs ae board axmini (cheapest, poorer build quality). I made the calculation that in order for the ideal board to measure up, it would have to be 15miles in total range, 25mph top speed, preferably under 15lb and with a handle, light and portable? Which makes it so hard to make a decision, do you have any ideal board in mind that would fit the bill? Answer will be appreciated!!Which version of tynee m2 youve got, Which version of tynee m2 youve got, is it worth 200$more to get belt than hub and 363w battery instead of 216?. On my list: tynee m2 belt molicel 363wh at 719$ vs meepo m2 er 589$ vs vestar mini1 belt motor 7ah/252wh at 649$ vs vestar mini hub 2 master battery at 669$ vs aeboard axmini Samsung 30q or standard battery at 799 or 519$ I ve seen your videos and found that you've had both vestar mini and tynee so I thought someone with experience like you would offer great advice, does it really make a huge difference in riding to offset the issue of portability and being heavier in tynee than vestar and perhaps meepo in you opinion ? Im saying im not sure if 3'' longer and 2lb heavier on tynee m2 would worth more than portable vestar. I'm willing to spend hundreds extra for the build quality but I want a board that would also fit the bill above

    • @RageStudios
      @RageStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      well, I don't own the vestar, actually I've never even tested a vestar, the meepo mini 2 is a great board but not the best for hills, the tynee is the one I'll personally get for hills as it is the best at climbing, sometimes the number don't make sense, they don't reflect the reality.
      I wouldn't worry about handles, the easiest way to carry a short board is by holding the front track.
      so tynee mini would be my first option
      Tynee mini:

    @9:00 😳 dafok?!? You're lying. You can peel off the pvc grip tape like any regular grip tape. and guess what's underneath... that's right, the battery compartment. Because the board is fully waterproof. I even passed a usb female port along the motor cables for external phone/remote charging that is most useful for an underneath usb led strip for night visibility. the empty case space unused by the battery is also ideal for a hidden gps tracker in case the board gets stolen. talk about diy. A premium verreal rs by comparison has zero free space inside the case for diy. Dunno why you ramble over build quality either. Have to contradict you by saying that many things are the opposite, line for instance: the fact that rubberized buttons feel better to the touch but 5 years from now, metal buttons will prove to be better than plastic simply because plastic falls apart faster than metal... which in the end is what huil quality boils down to. And btw, you can also change the front wheels and back sleeves and even put cloudwheels. it's a friggin hobbywing motor, they're compatible. c'mon m8 you failed harder than five dollar bills on this video.

The next day I plugged it into the outlet and nothing happened and it would not charge anymore and broke down.
    I opened up the unit from the bottom and observe the black wire was eating up from the heat from the indicator chip that shows how much power there is after observing the issue I figured that the black wire and red wire are too thin and the coating around the black wire and red wire are too thin and ended up heating up the small chip or ecu I believe. I also have a video on TH-cam and they have not responded to me to help and I would like to buy the parts and I don't have warranty and I have bought the board from someone. When I bought the board it only had very little miles and I've been using it for a month now and now it stopped working can anyone help and be careful buying this product if it's not 100% good. And what happens if your warranty is out and your board goes out how can you get these parts then your board will just sit in the closet so from my experience those wires I believe need more coding or a better system.

    How does the aeboard mini compare to these? I currently own a meepo v4 which is great, but I'm looking for something more portable while being able to climb hills

      I haven't tested the AEboard mini, for hills the tynee mini is the best in my opinion

      @@tytanHinkson I no longer test top speed, but I guess they're very similar when it comes to performance, the meepo it's abit faster from a still position

    Is this just in budget, cause the miles phantom is like amazing in terms of short board, 30mph and 30miles range

    Meepo mini 2 er is the best mini board. 20 mile range and 29 mph top speed. I ride it basically full throttle all the time and get about 13 miles, but if you cruise you can get close to 20

      @RageStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it is pretty good, I didn't got the ER version thou

    • @johncolton740
      @johncolton740 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RageStudios it's solid, they came out with the mini 2S ER. I asked them to change my order to the newer board before my order was processed because it allows for there new donut wheels. But they sent me the older version. They realized there mistake and sent me the new motor kit with the donut wheels. Haven't got them yet but super excited to try them out. Also order the sl1000 shred lights!

    • @johncolton740
      @johncolton740 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RageStudios so they sent me the motor kit for free with donut wheels which is 190 value which I'm super stoked about! It says 250 crossed out to 190 but it seems like they are always having a sale, I think it's a marketing thing but anyway I'm excited about it and I'll post a comment on the new donut wheels setup with the new motor kit. It's basically the same hub with same specs compared to the older hub, no performance difference just allows for the new meepo donut wheels to fit because they don't fit on the older hubs
