The reason why so many black folks are against him is because they can't let go of Jesus. Unfortunately, they have a strong sense of slave mentality after so many generations it's hard to reach them. It took me some time and after reading and studying I found out the truth and I was told about Dr. Hagins by one of my professors. A lot of black Christians will never do any research or study about their African ancestry. Most of them have never really read the bible cover to cover. If they did they will see so many contradictions and discrepancies they would burn the book. They are more happier being led and not questioning.
They are against him because he is doing nothing to liberate the black man. Christianity is not what has the black man in bondage. Do you think these young black men being gunned down on the block by other black men is because of Christianity? They can care less about JESUS. His mission is not to liberate the black man, his mission is to discredit the Christ as all the other anti-Christ attempt to do.

When you learn the history and forget the stories they gave to deceive you, then you will understand what Ray Hagins is talking about. I'll give you a starting point.. The Greeks wrote the oldest manuscripts of the Old Testament. The Septuagint. They also gave the New Testament. Don't fall for the "Hebrew" manuscripts. They do not predate the Greek texts. The Greeks took the stories of the Egyptians and other surrounding cultures and rewrote them to fit their own culture. Compare Egyptian/Greek mythologies to those in the Bible and you'll see the parallels. They aren't clone copies, but the storylines and characters are there.
