Very nicely done! Grant is one of my favorite jazz guitar players because of his sense of rhythm and there's always a nice mix between harmonic sophistication and bluesyness. Plus, he's more accessible than many jazz musicians as feel is more important in his playing than virtuosity.

Thanks, Jamie. Great lesson "in less than 10 minutes". Good to have your analysis as well as your playing and the notation.

Jamie - As I'm working through the solo I think that in bar 9 leading into 10 (F triad over the F7), the notation says the 10th bar (F7) starts with an Eb note but I think you're playing an F note (and that would give us the F triad). I suppose an Eb would work too since it gives the 7th of the F7, but an F note sounds better. Thanks again!

Shouldn’t the C7 come after the G7b9? You go straight to F7 after the G7b9 - which doesn’t make sense
I wish you would show all 4 bars ( with tab) on each example- it is difficult trying to paste all the phrases together: and as a summary show all 12 bars with all the licks on one page.
