He maybe had a chance on Smackdown if he was drafted after his Cena feud. Little Jimmy had an overall of 99
3:10 Huh thought they were saying "That's illegal" 😂
They were chanting “that’s illegal” referring to smoking indoors
Wwe had a short lived backstage sketch series called southpaw regional wrestling. Can you review it?
When was that?
@@pleaseshutup7053just type southpaw regional wrestling on TH-cam.
I feel like real wrestling fans who were old enough remember R truth as a hit we were rooting for to get a chance. He’s so entertaining in and out of the ring. And even at the time I understood why he wouldn’t go over. But I wanted it
*ZACK RYDER HAS A T-SHIRT????* I don't know why, but that spot always makes me laugh
I enjoyed truths heel turn but it got overshadowed by CM punk
“Enough beating around your girls bush” FUCKING SENT ME
He should have beat Cena. But we could say that about many.
11:10 When you think about it... the fact CM Punk got this "pipebomb" moment, when Truth was the one whom had done that storyline for months and just beat Cena.. it kind of transferred all that "energy" that would have went to Truth if given the chance to cut that kind of promo, to Punk instead.
When you think back to what came before... that "Pipebomb" moment to cut that kind of worked shoot promo to build to the match with Cena, should have probably been Truth's.
Hate how it was about hhh during the summer of punk
I mean...Truth is very versatile but i fear and this proved it once he sees you as comedy, i mean Vince obviously, you cannot break that mold unless you catch fire like say Kofi. He went to Mania and beat one of the greatest wrestlers for the WWE belt. That's insanity.
Capitol punishment should be the day r truth become wwe champion but super cena can’t stop winning champion rtruth heel character is a fresh breath with all the chaos storyline in 2010s
Ron is the man, amazing athlete, charisma, great worker. This guy could've been the first African american WWE champion. His Truth promos in 2008 were great and his heel run was unbelievable. He went from guy in a team and midcard to main event threat in one night.
Super cena kills all momentum again.
You're slipping Hawk: During that Air Boom match, you show Miz hitting the stroke and aggressive ref bumps, yet no calling him a Mini-Slapnuts
17:48 this was a weird cut
I’m pretty sure the chant when he was smoking was “that’s illegal” as it was in the uk
I cant beleive how long ago this was now. Del rio looked a million dollars at this time
Heel truth goes hard. Underrated gimmick. I’ve always loved it.
Miz was tagged teamed with everyone in the steel cage
8:32 Vince loved what he was seeing
I was like literally 5 when this was occurring
NGL that WWE championship belt lools good on truth
Truth and Ryder both deserved more than what they got from WWE. If anything Punk was the guy who should have been buried given what we know about him now.
Absolutly everybody has WWE champion in 2011.. The Miz, John Cena (3times), Alberto Del Rio (2times), Cm Punk (2times), Rey Mysterio, Dolph Ziggler, Edge (2times), Christian (2times), Randy Orton (2times), Mark Henry, The Big Show, Daniel Bryan (Dolph Ziggler was also Intercontinental Champion and US Champion in 2011🔥🔥) Great year FOR EVERYBODY... And then there was poor Little Jimmy. In 2011 wwe gave alot to alots of wrestlers tho
I wore my "Little Jimmy says" shirt to primary school alot, think I was like 5th grade and got the nickname Little Jimmy from the 6th graders
I wish WWE Make Truth & James Tag Team Chsmpions.
He maybe had a chance on Smackdown if he was drafted after his Cena feud. That could have been his best chance because Smackdown was far less crowded than Raw (although Mark Henry was also having a career renaissance so... just right time right place for one of them and not the other). If this happened a year later or a year later + on Smackdown or even a year earlier on Smackdown this would have all been great. 2010 and 2012 Smackdowns were basically creative black holes and needed something fresh (and not Jack Swagger).
Just a thought for a "different" Ring of the Hawk, why not do something with Miz back when he was on that MTV show. Probably the perfect amount of content to make a 10-12 minute video.
R truth should’ve been like booker T in terms of his success if he actually won some of those matches in 2011 he could’ve actually been a good star for them, instead he was relegated to comedy for the rest of his career when he could’ve done so much more
A big wish of mine is that they let R-Truth come back as a more serious character that actually gets some kind of mid card title.
😄👍
At this point I believe he is happy at the position he is at, since I believe his second run in WWE has been for over 17 years and still going.
im only upset because they killed R truths push after his drug suspension and he never got back to the main event.
I will say that R-Truth waa very entertaining as a heel. But as a main eventer in WWE, he didn't really fit in as far as character goes.
I think it genuinely could’ve fit, if it was done slightly more seriously.
@@leviuzumaki3903 Correct!
These were the worst years for wwe it wouldn't be a bad thing
@@rollingthunder8223 Uh. I don't know if 2011 was the worst year for WWE. There have been far worse. But the fact is R-Truth wasn't really taking seriously as a main eventer. That's why he went back to the undercard by 2012.
