    I particularly liked this video with you having cut some truly valuable wood boards. Also, it was nice to see your mom get on video with the new John Deere loader in your last video. I admire your whole family for being involved in the family business and doing well. Thanks again for all your efforts.     Great vid Emerald. That black walnut and cherry woods are beautiful. I have a cherry wood table I love but really love that black walnut. You can make so many beautiful things with cherry and black walnut. Always love to see Sammi our Sunday host. Looking forward to more hardwood milling.

    Love the slow mo shots. I worked in sawmills practically my whole life and I still like watching logs getting cut. Those Wood Mizers do a great job.

    As my Uncle always said (God rest his soul ) there is no such thing as scrap walnut.

    Great to see Samantha, she is wise and keeps head covered to retain heat and for safety
    Walnut is my favorite wood but expensive and carcinogenic
    Maybe wear dust mask when cutting walnut?

    My mother’s family owned some rural forest land in Northern Indiana. It had a lot of mature black walnut. Much of it was stolen by thieves who knew their hardwoods apparently. It is so beautiful. Thank you for showing this milling.

    Our TK1400 mill cuts mostly hardwood, red/white oaks. The most challenging part is rotating the 30” diameter logs. I like the painting the ends of the logs for identification. Thank you for the videos!

    I started using that same color code system about 25 years ago: Black for walnut, Orange for oak, Red for cherry, White for birch. Nice video!

    You ladies know what your doing,beautiful cuts,prime wood,no metal is a good day ,you did some great cuts kudos little lady, you remind me of a hummingbird ,colorful,agile zooming around the yard,got everything mastered,if you really wanted or had to you could run that place just get a bigger coffee pot,lol but seriously you could,you know every step very well 👍!

    You may want to check alignment of your Carbide wheel (debarker?) and the saw blade elevation.

    Emerald, I don't know if you ever move the LT 40 from that spot for any reason but lets say its a rare event to have to move it, I'd think in a situation like that it could be easier for daily cleaning under the unit to remove the tires/wheels and store them and give yourself two less objects to have to clean around.

    I have a wand like metal detector like they use in airports. I picked it up at radio Shack back in the day. I use it to check for metal when I am working with reclaimed lumber.

    That black walnut is almost as gorgeous as the narrator and swamper and camera persons. Like your huntress eye shadow and liner who ever he is. He doesn't understand just how sunk he is. You had an absolutely adorable swamped today. Along with a well produced and shot video. Thank you always love seeing awesome hardwoods being cut. Thank you for brightens my days.
