Great review. So many new products and some revelations. I have had trouble with the VB eyeliners in my waterline because they get messy, patchy, then they're gone. Fine on the lid though. I am dying to try that Cle de Peau foundation and the VB brow blade. Plus you hit a nerve with the sensitivity issues with eye liners in general. You've made me want the Sisley one. I love your reviews they are really peaceful to watch. I am always curious on the differences between all of the higher end brands out there compaired to the more affordable ones. That eyeliner is really pretty on top of the brown eyeshadow shades. I love how easy that eyeliner looked to apply to the eye. Also I have been wanting to try to cushion foundations and I never thought of flipping them over to save on product. Next time I buy a foundation I will give the cushion formulation a try because a lot of people say they are pretty good.

I’m loving the VB brow blade too! I’ve tried many pencils & brow gels & found this to apply easy & it lasts all day. And I don’t know what it is but I’m able to do my brows faster with it. Brows have always been the dreaded task of getting them to semi match and takes the longest for me. I wish they made the CDP cushion foundation in one shade darker. Loving the lipstick shade on you!! 😊🌺

Lexi, your eyebrows look the best that I’ve ever seen them look. I absolutely love the end result with this new VBB eyebrow product. I’ve just accepted the fact that I’m just going to pay the price to get the beautiful results that I get with VBB’s products. I love to wear a lot of eyeliner and as u know, I suffer from allergies & allergic reactions to eye makeup. I use to always have a blank space in the outer corner of my eyes, where my eyes would tear up and wash my eyeliner away. For me, her eyeliner is my holy grail. I also love her lipstick, bronzer bricks, eyeshadows & lid lusters. I can’t wait to try my new VBB eyebrow pencil and I also purchased the contour stick in Marble. I want to try her blush and primer next, when I start to use up some of my other makeup products. Thanks for another great review. U truly do look so good. And finally LE restocked Sorcery, so i purchased last night😜 thinking of getting that Cinnabar also. It has so many caramel shades, i think would be great for Latte makeup look🤔 although, between Surratt, Dior, Chanel and Nars, i probably have those warm caramel colors, but that top coat shade, i really like. Is that top coat shade in Cinnabar has glitter? I dont want glitter, i just want nice sheen. I also thinking to purchase Chanel skin enhancer in Bronze. I think it would be great, to add as bronzer. I was thinking to get the rose pink shade, but it looks like its sold out everywhere😳🤪. Maybe they will restock, i think i would love to. For winter. I love Pat's eyeliners but I don't usually wear them in my waterline as some shades can be a bit sensitive for me. However, her basic colors are pretty good but smudge a bit for me.
I actually have a 5 pan from hourglass (holiday 2021) that has been a real work horse for travel!! I went with the darker color story because it had a warm and a cool blush. Meanwhile, the 3 pans (until this new release) never really made sense to me??

I have not found a great matte cushion but what I love for travel is the Suqqu powder foundation. You can use it dry or wet and it is awesome in tropical climates. It does not look like powder on the skin, truly amazing!
I'm quite sure majority of the available cushion foundations come from Korean labs in some way or the other or are dupes. Especially since Korean companies started establishing labs outside Korea as well. That's why I never feel picking up a super high priced one. There is an extremely high chance I already own the formula😅sadly Korean channels who know the different formulas rarely review Western or Japanese cushions or make up in general. There is a huge gap of information and knowledge in this area. The sheer mountain of dupes of Korean products in skincare and make up. I have more than once unknowingly bought a dupe of a Korean product😒

If it is a lip stain in any form water or oil based, shiny or matte or any non drying liquid lipstick like blurring, velvet formulas as well as mask proof ones they all were done in Korea first. Also mask proof matte glowy foundation formulas. Lots of eye topper and glitter formulas I've seen first from Korean brands too. The newer bouncy and gel formulas for blushes. In skincare I'd say everything new or hyped ingredient wise I've seen since late 2017 was guaranteed developed and trending in Korea first. Anything glass skin, double cleanse of course. Fermented filtrates, essences and toners as skincare, sheet masks, products with mugwort, ginseng& camellia, Cica anything, all these newer sunscreens that are basically skincare and more were developed and trending in Korea years before the first Western companies brought out their copies. The first proper cleansing balm that started that trend years ago is the Heimish All Clean Balm... Was a huge huge trend in Korea then copied everywhere else. It's quite astounding but Western companies have shown zero innovation on their end in skincare for years. plays well for them into a lot of people's stereotypes who just assume Asian companies can only produce low quality crap and steal. I had more than one occasion where someone on TH-cam trying kbeauty accused a Korean brand of duping a Western brand 🙄... When it was Korean companies who had developed the product and started the hype years earlier
For me, a lot of the import taxes go away during checkout. Certain brands like Sisley are still significantly cheaper but others like Dior are only about a dollar different after all the fees. I miss the old system.

Selfridges is now charging import taxes for each item, so the prices aren’t really any cheaper anymore, even with the Global Shipping. 😢
