Hi Lexi, beautiful eye and lip pairing! The Dior cheek duos are so pretty and enticing in their quilted split pan format but they're barely perceptible. Thank you for your honest feedback on another missed opportunity by Dior. I don't know what to say or think about so many.reformulations in general when the original often needed no change. I was afraid of this with the TF quad , i was going to jump on it but decided to wait for your review because i was scared it would be glitter not actual metallic and that makes me sad why does everything have to be glittery and i love the color story and missed out on Violet Satine so i was hoping this would be more like that one. Why cant they just give us those mettalics and shimmers and not make them freaken glittery u know like they use to. My favorite quad is Day dream and thats the wet dry formula but if u notice their old wet dry formula in that and nude dip are super smooth and shiny and almost all the new ones are glitter sparkles in them even the WD formula and its annoying. Did u get any of the new shades of the YSL lines liberated liners i saw they expanded the color rang. Great reviews as always Lexi .
Just received TF Metallic Mauve today, so I did a look with the Dioramour blush duo along with you 💜 Personally I really love both products, but I understand why some others don’t! I tend to build my eye looks with mattes and then layer shimmers on top, so I prefer the composition of Metallic Mauve to Violet Satine. The latter’s mattes are just a bit too deep for me to comfortably use the quad by itself. I also prefer sheer sparkly shimmers to pigmented metallics. Dioramour reminds me of pastel blushes popular in Asian beauty. My skin is the same depth as yours, I’m also neutral-cool, and I also have the problem where makeup tends to pull warm/orangey on me. However, I have an olive undertone (very little red in my skin tone), so pastel pink blushes contrast against my face and give that bouncy, youthful look. I use a dense brush to pile it on, and I love layering the lilac highlight on top to give a more purple look. If your undertone is on the red/peachy spectrum or if you have surface redness this blush might just blend into your skin tone and look like nothing 😅
I completely agree with your thoughts here -- I am more fair than Lexi and Dioramour looks like a lovely higher-end version of my favorite super pale Korean blushes -- plus the highlight! And I definitely LOVE the look & tones in this TF palette -- looks to be sooo ideal for a fair olive like me

I love the look of the Dioramour. I completely used up a very similar pastel pink Korean blush 😊the highlighter looks gorgeous too. I have a super similar one from Clio but I've almost run out of it. It will depend on your undertone too how much the pink will show up as a color. Have you ever swatched the 00N or 0N in the Dior cushion foundations? It's definitely not yellow toned but peachy w enough pink in it. I'd say it is properly neutral. From what I've seen the stick foundation shades seem to match well. The shadows looked beautiful on the eyes!!

Hello! I have the old Byredo Earth Dust and I bought the new refillable Earth Dust. The new is neutral brown, the old is more peachy pink. I really like how the new satin formula wears. I find it to wear down nice and evenly.
Believe it or not I like both of them and I am not a coral person . Maybe use the Dior lavender blush with the first one . I love the contour . Like you if i am going to use contour I also use WA. Tom Ford and I have never had a strong friendship . I have purchased a couple but I could live without them . Don’t think I’m running out to purchase as you said . Excellent video, Lexi! I’m definitely interested in the new Tom Ford Metallic Mauve eyeshadow palette. I agree that it would’ve been nice to have that purple shade as a true metallic. That said, it does have a very pretty reflect. I’m wondering what using PML IntensifEYES would do. The Dior blushes will be a pass for me. I’m really curious about the new blushes by Chanel.
I was really, really hoping the TF new formula would be a revival of the MetallLust formula. I have and love Violet Satine, so I’ll skip this Metallic Mauve. The new Byredo lipstick looks gorgeous on you! The formula sounds interesting! Does it migrate out of your lip lines? I always worry about that with thinner formulas.
I was hoping so too! I love metallust! Surprisingly the Byredo has not migrated although it feels like it would. The creamy base must help it stay in place.
Hi Lexi, I never liked Dior blushes. The quality is terrible and why bother when you can find much better quality and beautiful colours in many other brands. The new stick foundation from Dior is very nice. The contour stick might be ok but I don’t use this kind of product. I don’t like this quad from TF. In Australia TF eyeshadows are around $160 each and for this price I have high expectations. I hope the Holiday quad is a better quality, if not I will skip it. I just bought the blur powder from Chantecaille. The powder is very good but the packaging is terrible. However I am happy that the product itself is good. I am not interested in TF powder (mixed reviews) and I don’t like the packaging is identical to the one from eyeshadows. Overall I will skip everything and waiting for Holiday collections. Are you going to keep Dioramour? Because I am thinking of sending it back. I'm B20 in Chanel Complexion Touch, so maybe a shade deeper than you are. And it has a white caste in some light. But I've been trying to convince myself that it will look great in winter, as a very soft flush. But I may be kidding myself. Also, they don't have enough shine to work on deep skin. They would just look like an ashy powder. And I agree, the formula is a bust. You really have to use a stiff brush and dig to get any color at all. I haven't been wowed by any eye palettes for a while. Will you be getting the purple and green matte quad from Chanel? That's one I really need to see on. I do plan on getting that green/purple nail polish. I love the Byredo packaging. So weighty and luxe. When the oil of these new ones wears off, does the color stay? I wanted your take on all of these things. I just got the Dior foundation stick and will have to return it. The color was waaay off. Too yellow and too dark. And that was 2N! I will probably keep the Dior and try to use it to tone down some deeper blushes but I also didn't realize they accept returns on makeup that has been opened. Returning it is definitely a better option if you don't like it. I'm definitely planning on getting the Chanel palette. As for the Byredo, the lipstick wears so evenly throughout the day and the color stays pretty well. It will of course get softer later on but the way it wears still looks fresh imo. You will have a soft stain.
0N is really a neutral but it’s a touch too light (maybe Winter lol) and 1N is a bit warm def too dark for you 0N or 1CR might work for u it’s really beautiful and plumping smoothing hydrating throughout the day I gotta see if I can mix the shades to get a perfect match would u do it on the back of your hand?ugh I wish I had an exact match like my Lancome stick is perfect and super similar 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 the contour stick looks great too but I just got the newest Mario in the pump
I would do it on the inside of your wrist since it has less sun exposure. The Mario in the pump is a nice product. I keep meaning to try a darker shade than the one I first bought.

You look really really good in the tones in the eyeshadow palette and 9am lipstick you are wearing. I only have three Byredo lipsticks, but I like them so much. I feel like there is something special about the shades. Not sure how I feel about the new formula. I tend to like more traditional satin lipsticks.

Thanks so much for all these swatches! The look at the Tom Ford quad is especially valuable since I’d assumed the purple was indeed going to be metallic but … glitter again. May I ask, is it very similar to the Suqqu purple quad? Re the Dior foundation stick: it’s a great formula on the lines of the contour stick and I’m usually no fan of stick foundations. I have it in 0N and by accident , 00. For what it’s worth, if it’s any help, 0N swatches close to Cle de Peau I10 on my arm and leans about as yellow as that. It doesn’t oxidise on me. But much to my amazement I actually love the 00 which looks white in the stick and when swatched. When it settles on the face though it’s pretty close to pure neutral, maybe very very slightly pink leaning, but it looks almost opalescent. If it’s too pale, twinned with 0N it I think it really is beautiful. I’m also finding I’ve come to love Dioramour blush/highlight though my initial reaction was also disappointment that it’s too pale to be of use. I now love its subtlety in daylight and I find it calms down stronger blushes. So, I’ve unexpectedly loved this Dior launch though I sadly missed out on the blue quint. 😢

I'm horrified seeing the hard pan on some of your newer Dior blushes from the last year. And to think that you use fresh and clean brushes and don't keep going back and dipping a dirty or damp/oily brush into the product like I have seen some people do, who wear heavy layers of makeup. I am always so careful not to get hard pan on any powder product. However, sometimes a product turns in a moment and that's it. It's just the worst.

I'm horrified seeing the hard pan on some of your newer Dior blushes from the last year. And to think that you use fresh and clean brushes and don't keep going back and dipping a dirty or damp/oily brush into the product like I have seen some people do, who wear heavy layers of makeup. I am always so careful not to get hard pan on any powder product. However, sometimes a product turns in a moment and that's it. It's just the worst.
I agree! It is very frustrating. I think something with these lilac pigments exacerbated the issue.
