Seriously. There's not many 80s hair bands that still have the chops to sound original. Major props to Stryper! (God keeps you young!)
Reason why? They didn't do drugs or drink a lot of alcohol

Oz is so important on backing vocals....like Michael Anthony from VH.
Robert Sweet steals the show, he is one lively chap behind his drum kit ! Backing vocals from Oz and Perry soar higher than Michael´s, sounds a bit weird. But all in all, Stryper is in very good shape, still. Keep it up boys, one of my favorite bands since their resurrection from 2013, very consistent work, fantastic albums.

Not bad. Michael has to sing in a lower octave now. I don't think they can fit in their fancy 80s stage costumes anymore, though it would be a kick to see them try. They are good performers, I just can't deal with the message for a whole show. But good for them for still going strong.
Only singing/playing a 1/2 step lower.Everybody does it as they age,even country singers.No other band in the world can sing&play about THEIR God at this skill level!There were a lot more great Christian Rock/Metal bands in the 80's too!
