@@UnityVR I think obi rope is from the same developer. So I think they used that as well in the demo. I asked it in the discord, but I think this was the answer
@@_Garm_ VR demo was made in VR some years ago using Htc Vive I think it was. Took some tweaking to get the rope to behave near realistic but absolutely doable...
The discord is a good place for info though. And I think a lot of new stuff is in the works. We're only on version 0.86 or something. For production ready I'll stick to BNG VRIF asset for the time being. As it has decent documentation (could be better) and a big and active discord support crew. Out of the box is offers almost all the features you can wish. (Curved UI, Photon, avatar, final IK, hand tracking support, etc etc) And if you can't find anything, it's quite easily extendible as well.
@@MaraldBes Stole their Blackboard and ported it to XR Interaction Toolkit and made it multiplayer under PUN2 . Not too ddifficult but had to slightly PUN2 ify the stroke code.
Regarding the psychic abilities... I was a actually thinking of "hand interaction"... But to your excuse I was wearing my thinfoil hat at the moment...
So... Shit.. Should I return the other two? Just bought them both to test out, but this looks legit. Lol dammit. Where were you, like, three hours ago?
Don't know if you've checked out the VR option in Blender3D? Really great to be able to inspect your 3d models directly in Blender while making them. Works like a charm with Oculus Quest (Virtual Desktop Streamer) and even easier with Samsung Odyssey WindowsMixedReality. (openXR) Would be great to see some how to videoes on interconnection with objects in vr in Blender.. Realy appreciating you'r videos and channel.. Respect...
It loads but my character is stuck in one place??
What render pipelines does this work with?
Ps would be interesting to see a tutorial how to make TP cables as they had in the video, but in xr :D
Hi! yeah good idea, Ive used Obi Rope in the past and it worked very well - assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/physics/obi-rope-55579

😂
Too bad it's not an action-based tool, and cannot be integrated with the unity xr interaction toolkit
Judging from the lack of update not just from on channel but multiple channels...I can say that UltimateXR is not the future of VR in unity.
6 months later... NO UPDATE... next 6 months....maybe.
