So a TL;DR of the Kozma Minin is: It's Dimitri Donskoi but the original 7 inch guns in triple mounts swapped with the 8 inch guns in twin mounts taken straight from the Admiral Hipper class heavy cruisers.
The difference is pretty minimal, the Donskoi has 3mm higher pen at 17km and is even at 12km. Donskoi has 18k higher HE and 45k lower AP DPM. Turret traverse, dispersion, sigma etc. are all the same, as well as AA, but Kozma gets an engine boost. Flight time of Donskoi is 0.3s lower at 17km. I don't think this ship is worse, but it is pretty pointless.
Old players like me 5+ years in game and never pay anything that have 300 ships i really feel bad for people that actually buy from them when they dont listen! they have destroy the game with cvs and subs and they keep going on! @@rowinglove4ever As a former old player who stopped playing quite a while back, aye aye aye to all of your points. What you mentioned about 51mm pen is why I enjoy the Hindenburg. Consistenly doing damaged to a 50mm deck plating BB/Petro with 40mm pushing in is just comfortable to use.

Good utility, thing is with base XP it will always shine if you spend the game targeting the enemy DDs and subs, especially if they are capping/spotting...so thats the role until the end game of burning down the stragglers for a cruiser.
Can u do some vid when the sales come of what ships should we look for? Based on ur opinion and what are they for primarily credit farming and captain training
with so many new cruiser line the hipper is of course outdated. Poor he dpm. Poor ap pen angle with long fuse ap. Bad maneuverability. No radar. No game impact.
This ship is almost a complete copy paste, even the guns have the same AP pen despite caliber difference. Less guns, better reload, slap an engine boost on it & boom "new" ship. edit: 0:22 good alpha for AP? It is less than donskoi yet same stats for pen , sure you shoot more often but the guns are not better.
So basically, Donskoi with 12% less HE dpm and fires, but: -27% better AP dpm -30mm deck, 27mm sides (instead of 27, 25) -additional 8% speed boost -3° better angles front and back -HE pens 51mm -Airstike ASW -0.7km better range
Who thinks the high XP results (in the lower damage games) are a result of the ship being in testing, and as such, maybe results are buffed in a testing ship to make it look much better so people buy it.
or is it a combination of most test ship players are your better players in the game, plus the fact the others don't know the week spots to exploit when shooting at them.
Why is WG spending so much time and effort on a never ending stream of ships? Yes I know, cash, FOMO etc. That said the game could attract extra players probably by other means as well. I play premium BUT I'm not spending a wattle of money on premium ships.
There is still some good tech trees. Prems are sweet tho for the ability to swap commander to them alone. Love how a commander can work for more than one class without retraining too. Like I use my ragnar commander for svea. I can just switch them back and forth.
Is there anything else like Maine? Or Condé? Or Annapolis? Aww crap… my bad. I forgot the most powerful and interesting ships happen to be super ships. But there isn’t another premium like Vermont though.
i have to disagree with you, about thinking all ships should have ship based ASW... i don't think ANY ship should have ship based ASW, because there shouldn't be any submarines
The answer is always "Tier 9 premiums you do well in," followed by "Tier 9 premiums you enjoy." Unless you have old Missouri, in which case the answer is old Missouri.
As for "T9s you do well in", kearsarge is pretty easy to do well in, I played it in a few ranked games and managed to get a high caliber almost every game
The German name is 'Was wollen wir trinken', but it goes by several other names in other languages (including 'how much is the fish' in one English version).

need some tips from you dd mains. 0:54 he mentioned how radar pushes dds away. as i just started my first dd line grind. what is the best way to play against radar. i am too scared to do anything and end up not being all that productive for the team. not sure if this helps but i have 500 hours of only bb playing haha
It's tricky and there really isn't much you can do if you do get caught out. You just have to hope that the enemies are dumb and don't swap to shooting you. Some general tips that will help that happen less are know what enemy ships have radar and know the radar range and how long the radar lasts. If the radar is a 12 km radar like on the Russian radars and you know the ship is only 6km away from you, then you should understand there is no way you can run away to get outside the radar range so you can't outrun it. That being said, the Russian radars have around 20 seconds of base radar duration and you only pop up for the rest of the enemy team around 10 seconds into a radar so therefore you know that you have to dodge shots for around 10 seconds. Going along with that, try to figure out quickly what radar ships spawned on your flank of the map so you can position yourself better to deal with the range of their radar. Second thing you can do is to have an island that you can quickly escape to planned. If you can get behind an island, then most of the enemy team won't have an angle on you to shoot you. Third thing to do is to never trap yourself between an island and the enemy. This is just general DD stuff, but if you get spotted, you typically want to immediately turn away from the enemy but if you have an island immediately to your side that you have to turn towards, then the enemy know you can't turn away without beaching yourself and therefore you become very predictable to aim for. I hope those few tips help!
And you can always speed juke the enemy cruiser by going full speed full reverse. So it’s mandatory to take propulsion and not rudder shift on a DD (and concealment in the other slot of course)
If you have 125k HE DPM that is equivalent to 375K AP DPM in penetrations. Therefore on ALL ships with less than 51mm plating, all ships your AP overpens you should use HE all the time due to the increased pen and higher DPM without citadel and the pen angles. AP should only be used against ships you can citadel reliably and broadside BBs where you can full arm in the superstructure and where the belt is often over 51mm.

I hated those hipper guns on Hipper, it felt like she needs 1 more turret or 1 more gun in turrets, idk, her damage output felt extremely anemic
AP os where the damage comes from, which made up fpr it. but still they are definitely lack luster when you have to use HE.
