    Looks great. Top job with the lighting. I'd add the classic 'z' pinstriping across the sides and back in the same red (mask and airbrush) or get some trucker scrollwork decals in dark blue or silver to put on the back and the sides of the sleeper, and small ones on the body in front of the steering wheels and doors just to make it pop. Thanks 😊.

    Amazing Build. thank you for the videos. The only thing throwing me off besides the obnoxious red is the aluminum paint on what would be a steel bumper. The bumper guard however is made out of aluminum. Some drivers like that others paint it black to contrast the chrome front end.

    FYI, you should find that you won’t need to add resistors to those lighting kits.
    If you notice that all the other leds don’t have any resistors in them as the voltage is usually dropped inside the little blue box.

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you are correct nut adding resistors never hurts. The led's may be a bit dimmer but will surely last!

    LOVE the Light Kit!! 😁 If I can find a DECENT Onboard Sound System... Maybe I WON'T have to be forced to buy a MFC-03 for just under $400.00!! (in post COVID RC pricing)😖

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC

      The board has a lot of power in it but you would have to tap into the exiting wires to split more off for a trailer. Or do the wireless trailer lights with a 2nd unit. I will be doing a trailer video soon showing that.

    I also like the dark yellowish/red with the light turquoise blue combination (actually they are complimentary colors), unless my video calibration is completely off! ;)
    You did use the blue front lights to have the interior dome light and I appreciate this idea, but if I'm not mistaken (I also use some of those cheap lights kits) those you call stop lights (yes, they are red) are plain reverse lights that should be replaced with white LEDs. In those kits you have to wire some actual red tail lights that stay on with the front ones, possibly with a more intense stop light function and I'm not sure this last option is at all available. Yes, please, I would appreciate if you can send me a pdf or an image of your scheme for the light kit.
    As always big thanks and KUDOS for your top notch modeller work, and the excellent quality of your video presentations!

    Hello Bob, Thanks for al the inspirational video's! Stil, i do have a question. The Globeliner of Tamiya, is it a Copy of a existing truck or pure free styled by Tamiya? As European i am not that familiar with the American trucks :-)

      It is not an exact copy of a real truck. At the time they designed it they did not want to pay royalties. It however close to several real trucks from that era.
