IMPORTANT* Hope everyone enjoyed this video capturing our amazing adventure! I felt it is my duty to disclaim some misconceptions about the dive program. Mainly the Photography and Video part of the underwater experience. During the course, participants are not permitted to use cameras or have it with them. This is to ensure students are focused on learning how to dive and are paying attention to all the safety measures and practices. The making of this video was a specially arranged campaign with RWS whereby we were given permission to film. It is also worth noting that the cameras were operated by either our cameraman (who is a seasoned diver) or by the dive master. We as students were focused on the lesson, the only times we (the participants) used the cameras was when we were stationary or resting. This was done with close supervision by the Dive Masters. It is also worth noting that even though our cameraman was a seasoned diver, there was one dive master assigned to him to supervise his safety. Many additional steps were taken to produce this film, safety was our main priority above all. Hey there! I’m thinking of doing this but not sure if my swimming skills is good enough for them to approve me to learn to dive… How long did you have to tread water for, can you just lie on your back to float for this and how many meters did you have to swim to pass? Thank you!
We had a short swimming evaluation before starting the lesson. I can't remember how long we had to thread water for but in my opinion., you don't need to be very good at swimming, but you do have to be confident in water. Hope this helps :)
Yeah sadly. Its an amazing experience. I too, got my ow cert at sea aquarium. Its a totally awesome experience to see at once so many may diff fish. Pretty sad we can't have our own photography equipments in there.

is the dive spectacle friendly?
My dive buddy wore his contacts, I'm not sure about wearing specs, but I know there are some goggles you can get with prescription lenses.

On a usual day, diving in the sea aquarium we can't bring our own camera and Gopro.
No you can't, we had a friend who was an experienced diver to film for us. Safety is No.1 :)
