How to make foch 155 good: remove 1 shell from the magazine, make the reload 30 seconds and 3 intro clip, make the disperssion and aim time better, buff the frontal armor.
The lower tier tanks mentioned don't make a lot of credits but can now be used for Battle Pass point missions. If you need a 4 kill daily mission you can take that m10 and sit it behind a bush using it's rapid firing gun to take out tanks quickly.
M10 RBFM is an absolute menace in tier 5. I do not feel safe fighting against them in open field maps, even when i am driving a KV-220
Love my M10... If I need credits or just feel the need to kick some butt at tier 5, it's a reliable mood improver for me. Crank the camo up as high as you can.... Find a nice place behind a bush to snipe and you are death incarnate.
I know why they added Defender. Its a GOLD sink for other players. More of these on the battle field the more players will be forced to spam gold to pen it.
just shoot the cupolas aint that hard i have it and people kill me like that all the time plus if im not carefull while side scraping i get penned on the lower half with any gold ammo lmao its still insane in tier 6-8 but as soon as u go up you cant compete that well
Thought they removed ammo sold for Gold YEARS ago.. so NO ONE spams GOLD ammo anymore.. The replacement ammo is expensive,BUT can be bought for credits... so everyone have the opportunity to use them..

@@Mango.1971 they didn't remove the ammo, they just made it so you can buy it for credits, much more expensive of course, so it's still called gold ammo cause you're paying for more penetration even if not with gold anymore, still pay to win.
T 103 is my fav t8 vehicle. It has enough pen to molest most t8 premium vehicles, including hull down. It can go straight through Bisonte's turret if you load the gold as well as through Type 63's turret. It has a very RELIABLE pen and thats what carries this tank's viability.
Also i had a game on Studzianki where i blocked over 5k damage with it so its pretty obvious i like this tank. Overall, the gun can be derpy but RNG gives and takes i guess. It also overmatches most things and straight up bullies Vipera by overmatching it lmao. You also stand a chance to pen Vipera using it's gun depression because 307 pen is crazy indeed.

@@robertrokif.3507 side note i learned recently, T-103 can overmatch BZ 176 entire roof. If you sit on a slightly elevated hulldown you can easily beat BZ. Example maps are El Halluf id BZ takes the hulldown corner of the map or if you end up on a heavy line on Tundra.

18:23 1 thing I would add to that, is despite the lowish penetration the tank is pretty tall, so tanks that rely on armor angles rather than raw armor thickness can be penetrated easier because of the reduced angle
Maybe it would be a good thing to Highlight the Fact that the Tank Wolverine in the American-Techtree is literally the same Tank as the M10 RBFM, with that you dont need to Spend some Bonds to play this Tank.
Except it literally isn't. The French m10 gets a few small buffs. The only reason to play the American M10 is if you want to use its derp gun.

I have a different opinion. Yes, the M10 RBFM has slightly better values at some points, but in my opinion this difference is so tiny that it's not even worth mentioning. Are 2 more pens for the standard AP really worth mentioning? Are 7 more pens on the Wolverine with APCR really worth mentioning? For me, the M10 RBFM is not worth spending 1500 bonds on if you can simply play the same tank through the tech tree.
Trick question, if it's not the exact same tank, why are they both called m10? But remember, this is just my personal opinion.
Funfact, The M10 Wolverine was my First 3-Marked Tank and i rlly like this Tank and dont get me Wrong, i'm not saying M10 RBFM is trash.

The 252U might not be the actual T8 meta, but i would say, it is still a decent choice for skirmishes. If you dont have other/better T8 premiums for skirmish, it is def one of the best picks of all bond tanks.
Surprisingly a behemoth like Defender entered bond store, after so many max. okaish vehicles. Maybe Defender sales were too low (because so many ppl own one), so bond store became a option.
@@LeLeon78 the best tier 8 choices IMO are Lorr 40t, Patriot, Liberte, Defender, T-34-3, German Bulldog

@@agbrenv I lately played 50 120 again after years and sold it right in the middle to 50B grind. I normally don't do that. Tall and no armor is such a awful thing nowadays when anyone with a above average HE pen shreds you with auto aim. So Lorr 40t is interesting, but has a much, much higher skill cap than a Defender or Liberte. Patriot is also a save bet.
T-34-3 just needs 2-3 damage hits with the trollish gun and you are already fine. The big alpha allows less work for the same income than you have to do on low alpha tanks.
But with the Defender, you have a much more idiot proof tank, who can do the same as t-34-3 but with a freaking good armor in exchange for less mobility. For f2p or inexperienced players i always would suggest the Defender (if it's not a dedicated med or light player). The savest tank for credit making imo.
Sure, good players can do more in more agile tanks and very good AL players can handle the awesome potential of a Lorr 40t, but there is a huge gap between the skill requirements of Defender and Lorr.
@@LeLeon78 well 50 120 is a bit different, since it wastes a heavy tank slot for the team, while being mostly a second line support vehicle
Lorr has much better mobility and camo, and a bit better gun handling and it is a tier lower, so it also meets less dangerous tanks
kv5 might be pretty shit tbh but with the right setup and mindset you can actually have quite an impact be ramming and that is next to monstrous derp guns the very essence of fun for me in this game. often times you have to stay back for some while and watch how the match develops because you arent really armoured and your gun is abysmal. however with careful decision making you still can have an impact (both metaphorically and in the most literal way possible).
I've had my KV-5 since like 2012 or 2013, it seems to me like it is such a rare tank to see nowadays that not everyone knows your weakspots, which wasn't the case back then since it was one of only three tier 8 premiums and you saw it all the time and everyone knew the weakspots. That being said, it is not much of a consolation prize, since anyone with half a brain could quickly figure it out thanks to the colored crosshairs. The DPM is also actually pretty good for a t8 heavy, but that is about it. While I dream of ramming, especially going downhill or something like that, this is certainly not a thing that happens that often and it doesn't make the tank worth it IMO. You can reverse sidescrape, but even then so many tanks can just go straight through your 180mm of frontal turret armor since it is almost not sloped at all. It is just not a tank I would recommend getting, there are much better tanks in the bond store.

people be hating on the foch 155 but i absolutely love that tank. yes its inaccurate but you should punish enemies trying to push. then whatch them retreat hehe
That’s why it’s hated.
For the driver, waiting people to push.
For team, you are an unreliable teammate.
For enemy, they push they get punished.
For me, it’s too passive. You push you die. You camp, team dies OR enemy melts. You end up scrambling for damage.
The M60 is actually somewhat armored if you play it correctly.
The copola is paper but the turret otherwise is decent. Use it with a bit of an angle and keep moving and it will bounce a lot of shells.
Gold ammo is a problem tho.
Honestly I really like the 268v5. Its a nice mix between regular 268 and E4. The fact that the cupola is on the right side means that you can play hulldown and sidescrape way better than E4 (as long as you stay on the left corner) and 400 heat is amazing, plus the tank is sneaker and a touch faster than E4 as well. But E4 has way better hull armor, a bit better gun handling imo, and the 375 apcr is arguably better than 395 heat. Good tank for players who like the E4 and the trading gameplay.

This is misleading AF... 286/5's frontal armor layout is similar to the IS-3 so you can't sidescrape at all. Every and each tier 8 heavies can pen you with standard shells like there's no tomorrow. And playing hulldown is only okay if you meet some lower tier mediums tbh.
@@chankelvin7154 i guess I should be more specific. You can bait shots with the v5 side armor, but not properly side scrape. You cannot do this in the E4 though, because you expose both your engine deck and your turret cheek.
I am trying to find a T8 to do blocking missions as i dont usually play heavy tanks and not have much interest to, would you say getting the obj 252u be ok for this or should i grind the VK 100.01 P knowing its gonna to take me sometime as F2P and i only have up to T4 on that line

Defender is the most interesting newbie in the bond shop imo, but it lives highly off the fame of old times. But man, the armor is sick and was a big hit into the game when it first entered and literally ignited the power creep of premium tanks.
268/5 looks kinda interesting, but tbh, i have an 110E4 so 268/5 has not that much to offer to burn this huge amount of bonds. The warning about WZ 114 is appreciated, i think many people can save a lot of bonds, watching your index page entry about WZ 114.
Just get e75 or 50tp if you want wz 114

I played 215b a couple months ago for the first time in 3-4 years. First and only game, I was set on fire 3 times. It went back to collecting dust.
as a f2p player the Strv 81 is actually one my favorites among the T8 Prem Options available to you. Hulldown the tank is hard to dig out, decent viewrange and mobility, the low dpm and alpha dmg hurts this vehicle the most in todays 3 minute games. Not the most competetive vehicle but u can make it work
I would never suggest the Strv81 for bonds.
It is literally the same tank as the techtree Cent. 1. You have better shell velocity, but lose mobility. Not a good trade. Only the Cent 5/1 is slightly better than Cent. 1 with a better upper hull protection.
Yeah, i agree the low alpha is such a chore in the 15:5 MM era. I like my Cent.5/1, but only in FL. :D
can we have an alteranative rating for the index rating them from kacku to whatever :D
I'll probably get the 252 u so I can play less seriously and have armor to rely on without the use of consumables to be hyper competitive. Most if not all premium tanks I own are focused on damaging or mag dumps without armor. Would be nice to just chill and rely on armor while reloading for a change.

The only positive thing to say about the WZ-114 ist that is has a premium status, which means ist makes credits and bonds... but thats it.

Wow new bonds store tanks that's nice. Would be nicer if the ingame store is actually working as well. I think i'm not the only one stuck forever in a loading when opening store.

Ya but that's not a bad thing in this game and most TD's have to lose a lot to gain either big alpha or a turret. This tank has both big alpha AND a turret, plus lets not overlook the 300 standard, 400 premium and 90 HE penetration, all of which are delicious. Think of it more like a T30, and suddenly it's understood. Only unlike a T30 the V5 has a much better top speed, far better reverse speed(which is great for trading without eating as many counter-shots).
You can't expect a 750 alpha, fully traversable turret TD with monstrous pen on a pretty mobile platform with tidy DPM and also decent camo too btw to keep it from getting farmed unlike a heavy tank during those heavy tank crossing on certain maps to also have laser pointer gun handling or heavy tank levels of HP. There's balances obviously, otherwise it would retire most heavy tanks since there'd be no point lol. Gun needs to be dialed in on the target properly before shooting to expect reliable accuracy, that's fair enough, and while the armor isn't great or to be played for, it's certainly HE proof unlike a Grille and your turret needs the enemy player to tend to need to aim unless he spams gold but then again, you'll probably be shooting gold back at him anyway but yours is 400 pen and 750 alpha so there's not many tanks to trade one for one and have a good outcome.

And tbh, if you watch Skill vids, the moment most likely comes, when Skill mentions "unless someone spams gold on you". 90% of the tanks actually ingame have a turret "unless someone spams gold on you" and 90% have a upper hull who get penned through it with or without gold. So why should 268/5 expected to have no drawbacks, right? E4 was nerved massively in the past because it's turret was too hard for a turreted tank, so why should 268/5 be that inpenetratable td monster.
750 Alpha and a full traversable turret is a good sales point combined with the awesome pen on all ammo types. Sadly it can't spot for itself, being blind as a t6 tank.

Yes, it was in tech tree as t9 medium tank. It's a bit funny becouse i grinded most of those tanks when they were in tech trees xD I got lorr, foch and fv from tech trees. Same with medium fv. Iwas t10 once and got remade into t8 premium

The fact that pile of trash called Chieftain/T95 costs 10k bonds is such a joke...oh man
34-3 was my 2nd three marked in the game(first was T49 with a derp gun) and it was long long time ago - even it was with -5 gun depresion, low penetration AP and so f*ing derpy gun. It was fun time to play these days when games was not over in 2 mins. The end of 34-3 era in my gameplay was when they introduced defender, the mm was full of these sh*ts and they just rushed you and you can do nothing frontally for them. 250 heats just dont cut. Nowadays the tank is just outdated even with pref MM its just HP pinata, gl dealing with phase1's, tiger-mouses and other shit with 250heat inaccurate gun. Even low tiers now have about the same "quality" gun handling with similar alpha, so you cant roflstomp them like its was before. It was called poorsman type 59, now poorsman has type 59... :D
I don't know, i bought it last year and i enjoy it. I too marked it. I like mediums with big boi guns. Together with STG, it is my favorite premium medium tank. I like them over progetto or any other medium that i have.
@@Kohagaan progetto is 2nd best premium in the game period. First one is borat period. If you like wanking in a bush sure stg is good, but you should consider td then. You dont have exp in this game if 34-3 is good for you nowadays, there is so much better tanks to do anything than that.

Really depends on your play style. I myself am a heavy player so I'd take 252. But if you don't like slow and inaccurate I wouldn't recommend it and take something else.
It comes down to your preference of play.
Keep in mind that tier 8 is best credit maker so don't take anything lower or higher if you go for credits

I'd say S.Conqueror . As the line is pretty good and the tank feels great since it's released. And if you want TD, then go straight to JG.Pz E100. I can promise you one thing, if you aim correctly, there will be no tank which you can't penetrate with it's 170mm gun!
I'd suggest playing up till tier 5. Go for KV-1 and learn sidescraping. Then progress towards IS-3. Stay there a while and avoid tier 10 for now. If you want to play mediums, I suggest Soviet medium line to Obj 430U. Whole line is pretty fool-proof. If you want something fun, I'd recommend Centurion AX line, hulldown armor and gun depression is nice, apart from the tier IX. Good luck!😊

I find it funny seeing people saying lorraine 40t is hard to play. I suffered for ages in T77 that i got in lootbox so I went trial by fire to learn how to play lorraine which is pretty much a better T77 that gets matched up against mediums instead of heavies (BZ moment). So compared to other tanks I have I do better in lorraine

I like the IS-6, its big downside is the penetration of the gun, other than that its pretty good.
@@nimay13 it doesn't matter either way, Bonds are the most premium currency in WoT. You shouldn't spend them casually. If you think thered a good chance you'll regret spending them in the near future, you shouldn't spend them. If you do, thats on you.
I'd take the m60 or 121. But I spend my bonds on bond equipment
I have both. IMO M60 is the better one. Much more versatile.

Depends on what gameplay do you prefer. Guard is a great tank imo, if you can put 4+ perk crew in it, the tank is all about its gun. Didn't play the defender, but in todays meta it's outdated, unrealible gun ok ish armour if the enemy is shooting gold.

My Defender has about a 10,000 - 1 win rate. It has Defended me successfully to grab it & go into a battle for years now. Great tank...as long as it sits in the lobby!!! Would recommend wasting Bonds if you just don't want them anymore.
Wz-111 alpine tiger used to be my favorite tank. It was fairly balanced for 175 mm pen 122 guns match ups and can actually brawl (as long as they dont spam gold). Now i traded it for a wz-114 🤣😂 probably one of the worst ideas I've done in my 12 years wot career, but hey, it's a sub decent tank 🫡

I have played with wz114 it's decent to make credits. However, you have to play it opportunisticly and go for gun handling with rammer aiming device and enhanced gun laying drive. Alternatively you can switch between aiming device and vents.

Liberte issues are shit gun handling, low alpha and huge weak cupola. The tank is a pushover.

I Disagree, I have the Guard and T26E5 P and they are pretty good, especially the patriot if you know how to play it. Apart from those I would only consider the 252U as another credit maker in the bond store.
