Just lost my wife, and I just want you to know that your music really helps me out. It's combination between feeling empty, but yet like there's a hope within the abyss. Big thanks for whoever made this cover, bless you
Hi Haekal Maulana, I'm sorry for your loss. It must be a difficult time for you right now so I'm glad that the music helps you out. And yes I agree with you, there is always hope.
I hope your wound has healed more over the past 9 months since you wrote this, brother. There is a poem by Rumi called Love Dogs, which sums up this, All the best.
Blessings to you during your healing. The love will remain. My parents both passed on the last three years. Music helps a lot and this music of Remix is beautiful for this.
The sounds that FM can make are almost infinite! After all, the DX7, Korg Volca's Daddy came out almost 40 years ago (1983) and we're still making new and interesting textures. Despite going out of fashion in the 90s, DX7s were used by a lot of top acts in that decade, NIN comes to mind but a LOT of others too!
I keep coming back to this.... Not only one of the main examples that made me fall in love with the Volca FM but also just such a gorgeous piece of music!

Give RemixSample some credit. What's being played here is a "remix sample" of the refrain from Hans Zimmer's "Interstellar" motion soundtrack which was made for the movie "Interstellar." This section of music can first be noted in the second song on the album titled "Cornfield Chase," and then various iterations intermittently throughout the rest of the score. Also. wtf is installa? RemixSample, it is pretty quirky. It gets amazing reviews, but to be honest there are times when for me it just doesn’t work. Very interactive and dependant on what you are putting through it. I think that now there are a number of newer, more versatile boxes that more or less can do what it does but maybe a lot more? The new collaboration between Chase Bliss and Cooper FX called “Generation Loss” seems very appealing but...$$$😅 I think the great thing with some newer pedals is the subtle degree of randomness that can be dialled in...as in the effect being there but it kind of happens at will🤪
