do the celebrities makes good money doing these shows? and Danny Nucci, what a sweetheart...and then there is Miles O'Keefe , still a great looking guy..I would love to meet Tanya Roberts, I am 47 and was a huge Charlie's Angels fan, did not think I would like the show after Farrah left, but I remained loyal to the show..the 70s/80s were a great time to grow up ..Kirk..Montreal, Canada....PS..thanks for some really great video..it was fun to watch
People like Penny Marshal didn't need the money. I'm guessing they might make pocket change, or money to pay for their assistants. I think the stars are for their fans mostly

That said, AMAZED at just how INCREDIBLE Tanya Roberts (6:12) looked less than a decade before she left us (though, obviously, she really wasn't that old here...) !! Thank you for posting this.......always thought of going to one of these shows, but just afraid I'd get TOTALLY bummed out if I were to actually do so.....this is a VERY nice way to at least get an idea what they'd be like in person! .
It really has to do with each star - some of them are there in good spirits to commune with fans or to raise $ for charity, some are desperate for cash. If they're depressed, you'll be depressed meeting them. But you might also cheer some of them by not being weird or saying something gutting ("you sure have changed!"). So enter it positively for fun and it'll be positive and fun.

You make a good point though.....as with many things in life, I'm sure it really does come down to how each of the celebrities approaches it....if they choose to be upbeat and 'fun', I'm sure it can be a GREAT time.....but if not, I'm sure meeting them won't end up being very memorable.... Always Dug Miles, can't understand why He did'nt get more movie roles than He did, but Hollywood has burned alot of Great Actors...its not too late Miles, your still looking as young as ever....
WOW! Miles was pretty cool and seems really down to earth. Penny Marshall was nice too and Tonya Roberts but the other guy who was called a hunk seemed very cringy.

The ones who clearly are not broke do it to help out their friends, do it for charity, and get the added enjoyment of meeting their fans. I'm not old but I imagine when you get old you want to cling to as many close friends as you can and while these fans are not close friends they are showing respect because they'd be nowhere without the fans. And as the 70s moves further and further into the past, the number of people who remember these old actors as they were gets smaller all the time. Most of the kids born in the past 20 or 30 years don't even know who they are. I'm sure they appreciate the people who have not forgotten them.
These people are so lucky to meet them. I would have fainted to meet Penny, I am such a huge fan of her. So sad she has left us, RIP
