I just realized I heard myself in the background. When you were meeting Valerie Harper... I heard myself say "I know right, yeah!" I was talking to my friend about her right before I met her while I waited in line, LOL. So weird to watch this and randomly hear myself, it was a fun event though!!
Oh, my gosh! I thank you, thank you, thank you for Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul!!! Have loved them since the '70s. They look great! Van Williams looks really old, though. But don't we all? :-)
wow..thanks for sharing this..i`m in the Uk and remember valerie Harper from Rhoda?..Such a great show..often wonder what her sister (brenda?)..Is doing?I do know she`s one of the voices on the simpsons... You got plenty of pics ,i guess you`re a hardened collector?:)....Great shots tho..and loved the David and Paul ones!!!Thanks again!x
I agree with what someone else said below, Van Williams was one of the best-looking men I've ever seen in his day. Still nice looking. David Soul didn't seem too enthused to be interacting with anybody. He looks like an alcoholic. Tough business. I enjoyed seeing these. Hey, I bet they don't like when you come with your own photos. lol
It actually depends. Sometimes, they don't care, if their price covers the photo anyway. And they often love seeing unusual photos. Or some will charge extra to sign something, especially if they're like an iconic sci-fi or superhero type. Like, Shatner signing a "Star Trek" board game as opposed to an 8x10.
15:32 She was so sharp for such a long time. The last time I saw her like 5 years ago the dementia was pretty clear. Someone was basically repeating everything that we said to her multiple times. Again, it was five years ago. God knows what she is like now. :(
I was turned off by her totally because she had this whole conversation about an image I handed her with the person next to her, and barely acknowledged me. Later, when I heard she had dementia, I wondered if this might not have been early days of that and my opinion changed. Terrible disease. So unfair.
@@matthewrettenmund8358 I empathize with you completely. Just last year, when Donald Fullilove (Mayor Goldie in Back to the Future) signed my poster he noticed that Mark McClure (Marty's brother in the movie) signed it. He immediately entered into a long, loud conversation about all things Mark McClure with his agent, which seemed interesting at first but just got creepier and more annoying because I realized that he had literally forgotten about me. I was forced to pull the poster away from him. I don't know if Donald has pre-dementia symptoms, but...
Who was the man with the cap?(think about 17.12?)...He looks so familiar ,but as i said be4 ,alot of these ppl aren`t so well recognised ,as we didn`t get their shows here in GB..
@boyculturedotcom thanks for that ,tho i still don`t know him well..His face is familiar ,prob from films??...We do miss out on many of your American shows ,or get them later when their no longer airing in the states!LOL...We`re currently getting Everybody Loves Raymond here ,which i enjoy ,but i`m sure it must`ve ended yrs ago for you guys!!..Thanks again for sharing ur "adventures!"..Which celeb were u most impressed by?
I saw Casandra Peterson aka Elvira at the 2016 Comic Con. She was sitting at the Hilton and I kept looking at her but could not recognize her nor did anyone else for that matter. She was there to promote her coffee table book about Elvira.. Must have been kinda sad to no one even knew who she was....
I love watching these. Thanks for sharing with us, Matt. David Soul (while getting his autograph) couldn't have seemed less interested in chat .... washed up asshole. He better be glad ANYBODY still wants his autograph. You're so flattering to their egos, Matt .... and most seem appreciative.
I still maintain that the 70's was the golden era of television. So many great shows, that people still reflect on with fond memories.
Couldn't agree more
It was a great show - thanks for the upload!

"Starsky and Hutch" were so funny & so good! One of the best Shows ever!
Great to see old veteran movie stars from the 1940s to 1990s.

I wish these shows were still in Burbank.
I love how you make them gag with your original pics enjoying your vids and watching their reactions
@TheHappyheart77 Paul Carafotes. Thanks for watching!
GREAT great video - thanks. I had to laugh when I saw Vincent Spano wipe his nose and then immediately shake your hand, though! :>)
Van Williams was one of the most handsome men who ever lived. Just striking, then and now.

Since she stole the Elvira character from Vampira who died in poverty because Peterson was so mean I can't feel sorry for her!!
Paul Michael Glaser at 8:31 "shoot me now."
