When I initially saw this, I couldn’t figure out what in the world the title to this video ment. 🤦♀️. This is such a cool and creative idea! I love the head canon that Ariel tours every year with different princesses. So many details you put into this. The posters are very creative and the set lists rock (see what I did there?)! Then, you managed to dress the folks and give them rocker looks, but tied in the Princess vibe as well. 👏👏👏
Ooooooomg, I LOVE THIS. So, so fun. I love Grace's initial idea, I love your expansions, I love the details, holy crap that's Willow I love Willow in that wig, it's all just SO GOOD. Such a fun concept. Thank you for sharing with us!
The rock look really suits Ariel with her cherry red hair I think! I love all the little details of the set design for the background, it's all so creative and fun! Love that you made custom posters and set lists and everything
Thank you so much!! I love working on the little details. If I could get paid to visit people's homes and help them create and furnish doll houses, I'd have SO. MUCH. FUN!
So creative! This is my favorite thing to do with my dolls. I think I sent you photos awhile ago. I did Fleetwood Mac, Siouxie Sioux, and Sid and Nancy.❤
What a great video! Your attention to detail with the set is mind-boggling! You are so creative. And, I love what you said about inspiring people to find ways to enjoy their dolls without feeling the need to buy, buy, buy. The dolls, of course, look amazing and I love Ariel as a rocker. I can't wait to see who she rocks out with next! I'm sewing for Ariel right now. It's fun to bring her into our world!
I love that trail mix! There's just something about tiny doll food that makes me giddy. I actually love the whole video of course, but I came to the comments to say that. 😅 Ariel's outfit is my favorite. Also, the name of the tour and song titles are amazing.
Thank you - the trail mix (and the chex mix) make me inexplicably happy whenever I look at it :) Ariel's outfit is definitely the best of the three (but that makes sense, because Grace bought items specifically for it and I just threw together the other two with what I had on hand). And I had fun coming up with the song titles - glad you appreciated them!
The fact you stuck with the Ariel and princess theme makes the creative writer makes me giddy!!! Could the bird covered up be a blue bird from the infamous Blue Bird Cafe... a famous Nashville live music club?
oooh excited for this one! I saw a few unboxing videos of Ariel in which people said she'd be difficult to dress because of her coloring. I bought her immediately because I love red hair and green eyes! I decided she will be a steampunk girl, as soon as I can get the time to put some outfits together. Can't wait to see your Ariel and how she turns out!
I missed the premiere but I love this video! What a great idea to get the princesses together and form a band. They all look beautiful, Willow is stunning in that black wig, and the song titles are perfect. Thank you so much for sharing this, really creative and I love the backstory for this scene. So cool!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it - the song titles were fun to come up with and I love making sure there are some thoughtful details in a scene/room when I do this. They're fun to come up with and I think they make a difference.
This was so cool. I was astounded by all of the details, especially on the posters. They all look great and I love the idea of her being a solo artist but touring with different princesses. So fun!
Glad you enjoyed it! My next fun project is currently underway and I'm diving just as deeply into the details and it is SO fun. There really is no limit to how creative you can be with dolls :)
This is so awesome!! So many details. I’m always so impressed with your work. I love how you combined the punk rock and Disney themes so seamlessly. I’m not sure if you remember, but 3 of my girls are also in a band together. I haven’t created exact looks or scenes for them yet though. The only details I’ve come up with are that Alanis (my 120) is the leader and 92 and a custom I have are sisters and fellow members of the band. All 3 dolls have the colorful streaks in their hair and the sisters’ parents have a musical past and named them after famous musicians. Those boots would be a great wardrobe piece for my Alanis. The idea to form a band with my dolls all began when I purchased 120 and on the drive home from the store an Alanis Morissette song was playing.
Very creative way to use the dolls and your doll accessories. I have never done anything like that but thanks for all the great ideas for creative displays. We have Melody's piano and electric piano. We actually have all the AG instruments including the grand piano I wanted to make a music room set up when I first got them but procrastination is my first and middle name. Maybe doing something on a smaller scale would work.
"Procrastination is my first and middle name" made me laugh. And yeah, maybe think smaller scale. Maybe just a scene with three dolls playing three instruments and outfits that work well together - they could be tuning up for an orchestra recital, playing in a school band...you can do it :)
Ariel and the Royals is very cute! I think Ariel rocks it as a solo artist but I’m happy you made a way in the story to have other Princesses have turns touring with her as a group. The posters are cool. I enjoy Canva a lot. The free version is quite sufficient in most cases although I did do a trial of the premium version and there were many more options to choose from. The girls look great together on stage. 🤗
Yeah, Ariel could totally be a solo act. Her punk look is certainly more cohesive. Then again, Grace bought items specifically for her and the other two got outfits made of whatever I already had on hand. Re: Canva, the free version is great. I used it for at least the first 8 months of having my channel. The upgrade was more of a "treat yo'self" because I like having all the options lol.
I absolutely love this!! ❤ I just bought the Disney Ily Cruella outfit from someone on Insta, so now I have that one, Moana, and Toy Story! Maybe I'll turn Nicki into a rocker in the Cruella outfit! 😂
Absolutely obsessed with Willow in that wig. Do you remember where it’s from? I’m constantly toying with the idea of rewigging my 116. This setup is so creative and fun, I love your posters!
I know it looks black, but I'm 99% sure it's the Nanea wig I have from when I rewigged the Nanea that became my Maile. I'm so glad you liked the posters - I think they're fun, too. The little details make such a difference.
This is so creative! Ariel looks amazing as a punk rocker! All the details are so cute, but I am OBSESSED with that trail mix! 😍😍😍

the little details just really pull this together for me. i loveeeeeee the song lists!
Thanks - you know I geek out over the details :)
This is so clever and cute! Loved it!
Thank you! 😊 I love incorporating the little details because they make such a difference.
So creative! This is my favorite thing to do with my dolls. I think I sent you photos awhile ago. I did Fleetwood Mac, Siouxie Sioux, and Sid and Nancy.❤
YES! Of course you'd like this one!

I love that trail mix! There's just something about tiny doll food that makes me giddy.

Your creativity is tops! Love the song lists and that you called it a "drum kit" and not "drums."
Haha - I was in band and orchestra and marching band, and my high school boyfriend was a drummer ;-)
I love Ariel and I think Willow is beautiful.. love your talent and unique ideas 💡
Thank you so much! Willow is wearing a Nanea wig and it does look really good on her. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
The fact you stuck with the Ariel and princess theme makes the creative writer makes me giddy!!!
Could the bird covered up be a blue bird from the infamous Blue Bird Cafe... a famous Nashville live music club?
Yes! That must be it! I am not familiar with that music club, but I bet you're right :)

YES! I do remember your three bandmates. Next time you come over, you're welcome to bring them and do a photo shoot of them rocking out :)
Wow. This is just an A+ all around!
Thanks so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I love doing this kind of thing :)

@@agtakesover thanks as always for your encouragement and positive vibes. your videos are one of the things that really bring me joy.
idk why I just saw this reply, but THANK YOU for your kind words!

OMG I love this so much!!! Amazing! I'd totally be a fan of Ariel and the Royals! (Can our fandom name be Guppies????!!!)
Yessss! I love it! The Guppies
I absolutely love this!! ❤ I just bought the Disney Ily Cruella outfit from someone on Insta, so now I have that one, Moana, and Toy Story! Maybe I'll turn Nicki into a rocker in the Cruella outfit! 😂
Nicki would look great in that - her hair makes her the obvious choice :)
I love this idea
Thanks so much!

Oh wow darlingxx I love it your band is fantastic I love the outfit x x
Thank you so much!!
So cute!!!
Thanks - I love focusing on all the little details :)
Where did you get the purple chair from?
It's part of Tenney's stage set.
I think I have a book with this same plot. It's called Kiss The Girl but I can't remember the author.
Oh, that doesn't surprise me at all! So many Disney princess spinoffs. I actually got that book for Grace but I don't think she's read it yet.
@agtakesover Oh cool! I hope she likes it!
The set list is very punny.
Indeed! I do like a play on words, be it clever *or* cheesy.
