I am new to this channel howeer I MUST SAY that I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you present and teach. For me it was very MUCH appreciated how you NEVER RUSHED through the video and it was VERY EASY to understand and follow the instructions!
Thank you for making and sharing this video with all of us. I'm a male and I like to make jewelry as gifts and especially for my wife. I have wondered how to attach cowrie shells. I'm going to make more since I have all that I need to make them. Happy man here. Angel from The Bay Area, CA USA
Best tutorial I've seen for making a cowrie shell necklace or anklet. Thank you! 💜 I know how to make the square knot. But how did you get it to twist?
Great choice for string. Using a lighter so it don't unwavel. After it's tied on and the person doesn't want it to come off, you can heat the knot to make it permanent.
Great tutorial girl! Usually I have to go watch multiple tutorials because people are confusing or leave things out, but yours was quick, to the point, simple and great quality. Thank you!!! ❤
I DID IT!!! I DID IT!! I MADE IT. I USED TURQOUISE COLORED COTTON CORD AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE COWERY SHELLS HAVE BLUE BEADS IN BETWEEN THEM! IM GOING TO MAKE TWO SINGLE STRETCH STRAND ANKLETS TO MATCH. IM SO OVER MYSELF NOW!!! THANK YOU!!!! ❤❤❤❤
The standard anklet size for women is about 10" but you can always ask for a person's anklet size to be 100% certain. The waist beads I make for my business are a standard 50" but in the product description, I encourage folks to email me if they need additional length for their waist bead. I hope this helps!
Hey! the process is different with stretch string. you could try alternating between cowrie shell, bead, cowrie shell, bead and don't need to worry about the knots. just an example for stretch string!
