My father always dream of driving on the road as a trucker also and at 58 years old he took the CDL, bought a truck with a huge sleeper, sold his house and now he is living on the road with his wife (my mom) they traval all america while working and we see them at anniversaries etc. I learn it from him, it's NEVER to late to be happy.

Weather was no joke this week. Wind was crazy in vegas, and we were stopped at Stateline for 90 minutes because of the wind and snow and drove in snow for a while, then hail, then heavy rain. Craziest weather I've experienced on a road trip.

love your videos. My dad and uncle were both truckers, my uncle hauled a double flatbed loaded with pressure treated lumber from British Columbia to Ontario. Side note: as a Canadian, I have no idea why Americans refer to ham as "Canadian bacon". I think what Americans are thinking of is what in Canada is peameal bacon, which is a pork loin, soaked in brine and then coated with a cornmeal, and it's sliced thin and typically eaten for breakfast. Peameal bacon can be referred to as Canadian bacon but what you had on your mcmuffin was just ham. Safe driving!!

Crazy you say that I’m driving now to Cali down from Washington this snow is crazy I had to throw chains then took me off. That urge to just keep driving keep driving tho I can barely see and have a feeling in the pit of my stomach. I had to finally find a rest area and park because no load is worth your life
I am an engineer but suddenly I now desire to be a trucker and drive a 10 spd manual truck everyday and sleep in a super cozy little truck cab bed. Looks way cooler than working in my boring office.

I’d love to start driving trucks, I’m a Mack man though, I’d love a Superliner with a big 600 in it and get into oversize stuff. Pete’s aren’t too common in Australia so I wouldn’t go for one of those. Honestly though I’m an old school dude and I’d love an old Ford Louisville but I’d never make any money hauling with one. But it would be cool to have an old Ford Louis.

Mexicano. Familia en Fresno Arizona Oregon Washington por todo el condado de Orange California Texas. For kids in Northern Cal one in Southern Cal. Now two more in Missouri where I live. Oh yeah and I got family in Bakersfield.. slow down and I driving a race car. It's not a bad speed shifting. Anywhere three trucks that were all black with red pinstripes the last one was white but they painted my color. But before the new one I drove old 70s. Pulling double hauling shavings turkey Barns and horse stables. Family in Pinedale California but the elders are gone.😞🙏🏽🙏🏽.

Dude, two words... Tesla Semi. You may need to do some figuring out especially on how to get Tesla semi chargers installed. Since Tesla semi chargers are not populated yet it's best to drive local only. Maybe you could set-up an agreement to have your own Tesla semi and still keep working for your ... uncle(?), if I recall correctly. But over time, if you start your own company, then you could get a fleet of Tesla semis.
