Your lockpicking is so fast because it's directly tied to your fps.

You have to do the whole thing that you do at Sanctuary, if you want the settlements to become radiant quests.
Counter-intuitive, Agility is 100% about guns.
Intelligence is about XP gain, Charisma is about the max number of settlers.
Endurance is about survivability.
Strength is mostly about carry weight.
Perception should be about surroundings awareness, but
Luck . Hm. more loot and esoteric wtf things, XP bonus, and extreme gore(if that's your thing.)
Put points into Intelligence, it effects XP gain.
You can try too think about what type of weapon’s you wanna use. Being a rifleman does alot of damage if you put your perk points into them.
a monster(mirelurk queen) came out of the ocean and destroyed the fort. Weird how another such queen doesn't have the same ability.
