    Video Ideas: Make a video showing us the purchasing process. Why it makes sense to pay for these outright vs. loan. How to schmooze the dealerships. What's your best financial investment. What's your current investment portfolio. Etc...

    I was wondering about the GT3RS and GT4RS allocations ... Taycan value will drop like a rock but I'm sure it won't offset the gains on the RS cars.

      @damachine3  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah, the gain on the GT3 RS alone is worth more than the entire Taycan. I don't care about the value of the Taycan. I leased it under a promotion from Porsche, and I got it for different reasons regardless. I purchased all of my GT cars.

    how does it drive? Does the lack of sound and engine noise make the car sorta sterile?

    • @damachine3
      @damachine3  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Linear power. Soulless. And, yes, sterile is a good word. But it drives well. It handles well. It's still a Porsche.

    Sell me the GT3 when you're ready to part.

    • @damachine3
      @damachine3  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The only way I'll part with it is if I get another one and the only way I'll get another one is if they don't screw up the next one. We shall see!

    Did you have to buy the Taycan for a future GT allocation? Seems to be the only way Porsche is moving Taycans. Kinda crazy the hoops folks have to jump through for the privilege of giving Porsche more money (whether that is the case here or not.)

      That's a good question, but in this case I actually wanted the Taycan.

      Thanks! Did you check out my other videos and see my 992 GT3 RS, 992 GT3, and GT4 RS? I'm also getting a 2024 GT4 RS this summer (my current one is a 2023) and a, well, it's a surprise!
      I just grinded in the corporate world for many years. Started saving young and was smart with my money. Lived beneath my means! Anybody can do it.

      @@damachine3 Would you say it was "worth" it to start saving young and be smart with your money? Were there times when you wanted to just f*** it and spend the money you saved? I figure you have saved the money to buy these cars now, but probably didn´t drive any insane cars like these when you were younger? I envy people like you, who are smart with their money but still enjoy life. I am quite young (19 y.o) and am hyped to start working, as I want to be able to afford cars like these too when I get older. But Im also afraid of this not being the right decision. Living beneath ones means and saving up seems right to me, but not being able to go on trips that much or "enjoying" life in my younger years bothers me too. Was it "hard" for you? Im sorry for going so in-depth into your personal life and asking you all of this when you have so much to do and so many cars to enjoy!
      Greetings from Germany and I wish you a lot of fun with your amazing cars!

      @christi9115 Great comment, and questions! Fortunately for me, enjoying life as I went along, and going on great trips, was a given. I was in a fortunate postion such that living beneath my means still included these things. Like you, I believe balance is necessary. You need to live life as you go because tomorrow is never promised. So, I balanced saving for tomorrow with living for today. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come...the present is called "the present" for a reason. ;)

      @@damachine3 Amazing Answer and way to look at life. I think people who work their asses off deserve cars like these, but a lot of people tend to become unhappy and discontent, so that the cars arent special for them anymore. I don't have this feeling with you. You seem humble, appreciative and just all in all nice. I appreciate you giving me such a long, thought-through answer that has hyped me for my future.
      Thank you!
      Do you have any other channels where you post regularly? Very cool what you do man, keep it up!

      @@christi9115 Thank you! I appreciate that. Yeah, it's impossible to be happy unless the important things in life are in order first. First and foremost, one needs to be at peace with oneself. It's impossible to be happy if you don't respect yourself. Then there is health and meaningful relationships. Only after that stuff is in order can things like cars accentuate your life. They are simply frosting on the cake, but not the cake itself!

      Yep, I needed it for a specific purpose and I leased it. I don't care about the value on this one.
