was it really necessary to remove the cross over pipe? You can get those bolts for the trans that's near the pipe with an extension and swivel, just move the throttle body and airbox out of the way and should be plenty of space.

Excellent Video. I am about to pull my trans out of my GXP to send out for rebuilding this weekend. Your video was very helpful. Any tips for packing the trans on a pallet for freight?
Thanks bro, im glad i could help! As for shipping, i ended up having mine rebuilt locally, but at the time when i did have it shipped to me, it was ratchet strapped directly to the pallet and delivered safely. The pan covers a larger surface so balancing was easy as well
Put biggest trans cooler on also have the rebuild add a shift kit trans go makes them and i use transmax synthetic fluid in my 2006 gxp. Do an yearly service simply pumping out 5 -6 quarts out dip stick tube. The key to keeping these transmission going is keeping heat down and fluid fresh. You can get a fluid transfer pump at harbour freight or princess auto in Canada .
I just had my transmission r&r’d and when I got the car back I had a leak coming out of the power steering pump behind the pulley. I suspect the dealer held my engine exactly as you did in this video. They deny messing up my pump but before they did the work I didn’t have a power steering issue. Did you have any power steering issues afterwards?

The thing with mine is, I don't really know how I went from a transmission leak from the case to a tow truck taking my car to the dealership, then once the old transmission was removed and replaced with the reman I purchased, I ended up with a pump leak. I mean I know someone messed up but they won't own up to it. We put a new pump in over the weekend and everything is fine now.
I'm with you. I hate fwd stuff. I'm pulling mine in a week or two. Lol. I rebuild 4l60es, gonna start learning the 4t65es

Great Videos! Where did you purchase your brembos/ ZZP performance has some but the price is too high for 2 front calipers $700.00 plus.
I got them off ebay for $250 for the pair
Those calipers come stock on gtps
All they are is red calipers and the same as any grand prix. There isnt anything different except them b n red

I did not have any issues with mine but i also had mine supported underneath by the oil pan to reduce some stress off the PS pump.
