You did the most awesome job playing this great instrumental!!!! I also really like your improvised licks toward the end of this piece. You are a really talented and creative player!
Yeah especially the descending patter @3:45
ive loved this song since i bought this cassette off the rack when it first came out.....its been very special to me and brother you did it right
Absolutely AMAZING! Your blend of technique and emotion is SO inspirational!
I will keep watching this video for the rest of my life ❤❤❤❤
Wow that is fantastic,i liked it better than original. You nailed the climax and gave us more than the original by extending the ending and melodically bringing er home.
Great vibrato tone feeling and attention to detail. Masterful
Absolutely incredible!!!!😮
smokes it...nice one
OMG ... this this the finest cover of malmsteen i've ever heard.
Thanks ;)
Fact.
It’s arguably his finest work - nothing like anything else he’s done.
3:45 a brilliant phrase most inspiring
Dude, I was smiling the whole way through that. I''ve always maintained that Yngwie is primarily a feel-player and without any of the technique he'd still be one of the best ever, you really got that across. Congratulations, I hope you're still tearing it up!
WHEN THIS MASTER PIECE CAME OUT, IT WAS ON LP OR CASSETTE, AND AT THE END OF THE TAPE, AND IT FADED OUT FOR LESS THAN 3 MINUTES LONG, AND ONLY A FEW MUSICIANS WOULD APPRECIATE IT AT THAT TIME, WHICH ENDED TO BE ONE THE BEST YNGWIE´S SOARING MELODIES. I ALWAYS FELT MYSELF AS AN EAGLE FLYING HIGH WHEN LISTENING TO THIS AUDIO CASSETTE WITH AN AKAI HEADPHONES. we were happy....!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS MATE YOU DID A SUPERB JOB.
First time I saw anybody do this song...great job plus I like how you ad lib. At the end ...
Ten years later this is still awesome 👍🏻
Wow! This was practically note perfect, and great improv at the end. Whenever people say Yngwie just plays fast and without emotion, (which unfortunately he does more often than not these days!), I play em this track and it normally shuts them up. I really admire the dedication and practice it must have taken you to nail this, and indeed to get a post Yngwie level of technique in general. Well done indeed!
Great comment
It's just sad that you have to go back almost 40 years to find an example where he plays tastefully.
Indeed. Most players slow down, and get more melodic and tasty as they grow older. Yngwie has done the opposite. @@dm8579
@@silverarrowslktotally agree with you
@@jeanclaudejaycee9599Just about the best guitar solo/song I’ve heard. It has everything in it.
simply the best guitar cover ever. I doubt Yngwie himself can do that
Yngwie did the original one... 😅
@@simonedangelosericola5742 and never played again
@@bekabuchashvili but he has created it, so kudos to him. All credits to him... 😉
@@simonedangelosericola5742 no doubt
I just watched this yet again. Obviously you achieve a phenomenal technical rendition of this amazing song but you also create something so moving in the subtleties of your performance. This song was always a favorite for the deep and serious tone it sets. Your playing captures it in it's entirety. That is something so vary rare and something to be so proud of, thank you for sharing this.
Thank you so much Greg, you're really kind :) thank you again and cheers form Italy ;)
This track is a lead guitarists dream to improvise over. I discovered the backing track to it today and was doing just that when I saw your video. You managed to play some wicked licks and even got to shredding while having command of your dynamics and avoided cluttering the mix. Im am inspired by your playing and sure many others are as well, this is the best compliment a guitarist can get.
Lovely playing. Tone articulation, vibrato. Love that descending pattern @3:45. That’s a lick that YJM uses and from classical music
that's the loudest i've ever turned up my studio monitors! this fooking rocks my socks off ! thanks
OMG! So amazing! Yngwie and this song in particular have been part of my life and my heart ever since it came out and you my friend have done the most perfect version I have ever heard! Only Yngwie himself could do it any better. Your feeling and emotion and vibrato are all breathtaking. I didn't think anyone would get his very unique legato stuff right but you did. And your own improvisation at the end was unique and inspirational. Yngwie is probably my biggest inspiration for my guitar playing but I've never had much patience for learning his stuff note for note. I don't know how guys like you do it! It's got to take some serious time and super patience!
I'm back. 3:37 that lick is really cool. You did a great job on this tune but I still wish that 2nd chord in the backing track was correct.
This is my favorite piece of all time and you more than did it justice. You absolutely nailed it buddy, well done!!!
Speechless! this is absoluely amazing. 5 stars. So much feel. Wish Yngwie put out more songs like this \m/
Really thank you :) i am glad about your words...i want song like this to the Maestro too \m/
You really can be proud of you. . You have exactly understood and played what Malmsteen want to make feel. Probably the most close cover i have never heard. What a pity you havn't the Yngwie Stuff.
Jonathan Lusteau Thank you Jonathan.I always wanted that thing:play what Yngwie want to make feel.I study him for 2 years...maybe i'll do a "final version" of "Marching Out" with my Yngwie Stuff :)
damn this rocks like hell !! amazing sound and playing keep rock'n
you made it better than it already was. so good
I can't stop listening and over and over...:)
The most phenomenal cover of any song i have ever watched on youtube....insanely spectacular and the built in improvising shows how much this song is in your heart, soul and mind. We are brothers.........
Thank you Michael , too kind :)
my pleasure ;) i am glad that you like it :)
Ottimo lavoro, a parer mio è anche bella l'improvvisazione finale in linea con il pezzo e naturalmente in stile Malmsteen...........ciao!
loved it. Don't stop playing man, you've got it.
Thank you so much Dmitry, i will never stop playing...guitar is in my blood 4ever...\m/
Very, very, nice. Thanks for revealing the 3rd beat delay illusion. That vexed me for a long time.
I stop by now and then to watch this video. Very good stuff. :)
Your play is really freaking amazing! I watched it like ten times over. Listening and watching it gives so much emotion. Unbelievable Your awesome man!
Wow! I like that better than the original recording itself. Fantastic job!
Simply BEAUTIFUL!
Davide S Yes beautiful
Absolutely the best cover, amazing feel, and fantastic work with tremolo and vibrato. Runs are so smooth. A marvel! I am listening it for the 5th time...
Thank you so much :) too kind
Wow, that was a fantastic example! Really superbly executed man. Very impressive! I don't think Yngwie himself could play that song better after all these years. One of my fav songs Yngwie did which showcased his feel.
So beautiful performance....great soling !! I really like your sound !!
Hi MrSimo I'm a big fan of yngwie, and neo-classic guitar playing... Contratulations your cover is really good. This is one of my favorite songs.
I have this CD in original and is the best buy I made! :)
@TrollRaper69 I am really glad for what you said :) i just listen the "Maestro" version in slow time and then i try to find the notes and the strings to pick...i used (and still use) that method for all the songs that i played...and the vibrato is my passion :) and Yngwie is the king of that technic (my opinion)...hope you still enjoy with my next vid :) have a nice day my friend :D
3:45-3:50....So beautifull....Awesome...!!!!
Thank you so much Dave,i really appreciated your words =) well....i begin 3 years ago to play the guitar,i started with the Metallica,Led zeppelin,Joe satriani,Deep purple,Pink floyd, but when i hear Yngwie the first time,i said : wow.....i was speachless, and the first song that i heard was Marching Out....just insane.....that vibrato, the speed accuracy and the feeling....just wow..i study him for 1 year;night and day, every time with my guitar and playing for hours...
That tone!!!!!!!!!!
This cover is insanely good, incredible playing; timing, phrasing, vibrato and your own outro is just top, hats off !!!
Great tone and feeling! awesome!
Spettacolare come sempre!
Great! This is one of my favorite too!!!
Tks man, great work! It was always a regret that original tune ended too soon, with all that fade out.. But this version is longer - very relaxing stuff
Mr Simo it was great!!!!
excellent work, I love this tune
Thanks. I admire your talents and to me this has been my all time favorite song since it came out. I've followed Yngwie since Steeler and have always loved him. I played Guitar for 35 years and still cant get my fingers to move "Faster than the speed of light" lol. But Thanks for adding the ending to this song. Finally someone with Perfect Idea's. LOL. Eric.
Beautiful

Sickeningly freaking great! Dare I say it's as good as YJM's original? Yeah, I do dare to say as good! But I'll go one better . . . I think yours has a bit more feeling than the original!

Me too my friend! And "Soldier without a faith" is one of the best too!!
@TinkGerman :D thank you i really appreciated what you said :)
This was great
Nice job, though. Funny, how today people can watch vids and learn this stuff but if you'd have done this 20 years ago.... YOU'D be on stage with 15 albums and gold records and stuff. hahah But back then, not many people were doing these licks but Uli Roth and occasionally a touch of Blackmore (slower) and McLaughlin here and there and 3% DiMeola. But Malmsteen cranked that harmonic minor and phrygian about as far as it could go.
Good point Truth Surge it was not easy back then scratching those vinyl's and trying to learn those solos.
Holdsworth.
very nice %
Super main droite!
