I made this because I'm a huge Yngwie fan and getting Mark to sing on it was incredible.

Amp - Folkesson Eternal Classic modded Marshall JMP-1 into Marshall 9200 power amp into Captor X into CSS566 channel strip into Logic Pro X
Mark's voice is absolutely amazing even after all these years. He can sing the living hell around singers half his age! 🤯
He's still got it! Awesome job from an iconic voice.

@@johnhuldt I feel a bit of a picky arsehole to suggest improvements as you did a great job, but........ on the main guitar riff Yngiwie backs off the muting on parts of the riff to open it up with more feel, to break up the mechanical nature of uniform chugging. But hey, a lot of guitarists around the world would struggle to get anywhere near your performance, so props to you!

Mark is sooo good! I have only seen him live once on the opening night of the Alchemy tour. He sounds as good live as on the CD.They warmed up with Leonardo and did it about 4 times pre show, Mark killed the high note every time.
Did he also do Nessun Dorma on that concert?

Crazy good, especially the vocals for such an old metal singer. So few metal singers are able to preserve the strength of their voice past their 40s or 50s.

Saw Mark live w/Yngwie at the Edge in Palo Alto CA in 1995. Sang the hell out of the whole show with tunes from every album up to Magnum Opus, plus Gates of Babylon by Rainbow. Amazing then, amazing now.

Mark is awesome, and it's great to see he's as good as ever. I was lucky enough to see him with Yngwie in Detroit on the Alchemy tour (nearly didn't thanks to Customs in Amsterdam!), and although Mark had laryngitis and was struggling a bit, he still put on an amazing performance. I mean, he was singing "Leonardo" and almost pulled it off flawlessly, which shows what a pro he is. This is really great.
Awesome guitar playing! Being the biggest Malmsteen fan myself I always loved Mark‘s Voice! I also followed his career by purchasing Billionaires Boys et cetera… it’s great to see him perform here in his natural habitat 🤭. Love Yngwie (especially the old one 83-93) love Mark love your guitar and production here! Well done! 👍🏻

This is a great idea! Nice cover... DejaVu is a good song. Big thanks to you and Mark Boals. I don't know how you made this happen, but if possible, please do more... :) The Trilogy lineup (with Mark) is my all time favorite, and Trilogy is on my desert island album list. I'm glad Mark was kind enough to cover the tune from Odyssey, which was originally sung by JLT. Love and respect to many other great singers, but Ian Gillan (DP) and Mark Boals are my top favorite vocalists.

Thank you! It's a tricky one to play. If you listen really closely you can hear Yngwie himself having to work for it a bit too. I think he economy picks between some of the string changes with messes up the picking pattern for him. I straight alternate picked it which by all means makes it easier to play rhythmically but still a tricky riff.
J'ai été road sur un de ses concerts (Malmsteen) il y'a de très nombreuses années. Formidable guitariste et le show de 3 heures quoi !! Tout simplement super. je crois même que j'ai encore un de ses médiators 👍
