Cool owner. This guy gets it. Carefully considered simple mods that work well together and don't make other drivers think you're a flat bill wearing hoonigan.
Awesome video! It's always refreshing to see an elderly gentleman in the Subaru game, especially one that thoroughly does his research prior to modifications--unlike most younger enthusiasts, who either slam their cars or put together cheap parts. I can't wait for what's to come for the Legacy!
I'm happy to see a fellow N/A owner who is happy with the car and has done some tasteful mods. As for the Legacy project you guys have going, all I can say is MOAR VIDS NAO!!!
really enjoyable to see a well executed, "everyman" build and hear his story behind the car and the modding process. you can tell he really has fun with it. nice segment!
Just started watching this show and I thought that the first episode looked like it was in bc and after watching this now knowing its in bc it makes so much sense just the people and the love for subies!
¿where can i find literature for restoring this car? i loved this video, i want to get started on restoring cars and i got this legacy 1.8 gl (1990) with 200.000 kms (inherited from grandpa), im a civil engenieering student and when i finish my career i want to start restoring it, i mean real full restore, i want those 130 hp back if its possible. any help will be welcomed :) greetengs from Chile sorry about my english.
I've thought to myself for a while that it's be cool if Subaru made a naturally aspirated WRX today and now I have my answer: just build one! Although, aftermarket support for the current gen Impreza is pretty slim.
Hey guys Im moving to Keremeos from a MUCH more remote part of Canada. Im a Suby guy myself and want to get in touch with Mike. Can someone help me out?

Great to see people with realistic expectations and good taste.

Pretty much what the 2.5RS was until '07, then they called it the GT and I think that was later phased out.
That's smart building... You can't just throw a buncha stuff together and expect it to work. Gotta work for it and research what you wanna do.
Anyone have a list of upgrades he did to the NA?
Thanks so much i have the 1993 leagcy
I like this guy.
Great video

where are all the VIEWS?!
Upload moooorrree!!!
Very refreshing view on modifying cars.
GL Wagons are the shit!
I'll never understand why people dump money into a car that will never be up to your expectations JUST SELL THE CAR AND BUY A WRX.
+BDR Because a used WRX has been beat to absolute shit.
