Thanks, Alan. Your description is exactly what I love about cycling - observing the world at 7.2 mph! You see and experience a lot of interesting things that way.
Come check it out sometime. It's a very different type of experience from your average bike trail. (And don't tell anybody, but I did ride my bike across some of those boardwalks. How else was I going to get the shot?!) 😆
Cool story, bro! (seriously) Many of those players also played for the Sumter Braves in our little stadium downtown (before or after Greenville, I don't know, but I'm guessing before). I loved the song during the tour of the Preserve. Your videos are always entertaining and I, too, appreciate that you give some history and even a restaurant review. Do they allow Ebikes at the Preserve? Is there a place to kayak? Thanks again!
Thanks! Yes, I'm sure a lot of those guys passed thru Sumter. I just looked up the history and saw that the Braves left Sumter in 1991 (bad timing!) and went to Macon...then Rome (GA). I remember a few years ago, going to a Greenville Drive game against the Rome Braves. I pulled for Rome. I said, "I only root for teams with a tomahawk on their chest!" About Conestee...pretty sure kayaking is a no, since they want to keep everything all pristine and swampy for the animals. Ha. Ebikes should be fine, I would think.
thank you for your wonderful videos. giving history of areas and showing what riding about, enjoying your surroundings, not trying to go fast.

I'm looking for a small townhouse to move to in Mauldin around this July.

I just got back from there. It was nice but not near as pretty as the video. Maybe after spring hits. I knew you were not going to open that coke. lol
You're right...no way! :)
