    Great video, Will! Keep up the excellent work! If you ever feel up to it, I would love to see you pack one of the higher number of card orders in PWE. I don't usually send more than 16 in PWE myself, so it would be useful to see that in more detail.

    Enjoyed the content as per usual. If I might make a recommendation, whenever you are mentioning a specific card to make a point of reference with, if possible I would put an image of said card post edit at least at the first mention of the card, so people like me who aren't as knowledgeable can hopefully get a better understanding of what you are talking about. this is only the suggestion of an internet nobody of course, and obviously only within the realm of possibilty that you have. Thanks for the content!

    What you're doing is absolutely brilliant! A few questions, when setting up your account did you have to create a business name and also where do you get those cardboard protectors? When I sell I intend to use plastic cases but that cardboard on top will make it look all the more professional!

    • @TheLabTCG
      @TheLabTCG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the kind words! Yes, when I set up my account I had to create a business name. I get the cardboard protectors from AA distribution. There is a link to the product in my discord. They are called chipboard vending sleeves if you want to look them up.

    Heard you mention on other videos something about shipping prices when you are buying cards and how to buy multiple cards from one buyer because of their high shipping price. Still having trouble figuring out what that is and don't want to mess up listing with the wrong kind of shipping calculated. Could you clarify that please? This video was extremely helpful btw.

    • @TheLabTCG
      @TheLabTCG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey James, really glad you enjoyed the video! Here is an example. Say a seller sets their standard shipping price to $4.99. If you are selling a $5 card and click one of the match price buttons on the back end, the software will price that card at .01 + $4.99 assuming the price you are matching is $5. If you do this to multiple cards, the cards will all be listed at .01 with $4.99 shipping. Let me know if that clears it up!

    So I might be a little lost. Are you saying undercut to appear on the front list buy page but to also not sell your cards under 0.25?? i get one is moving product faster but would you still want them priced at 0.25 for seller benefit?

    • @TheLabTCG
      @TheLabTCG  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Two different strategies. For cards that aren't bulk, I would price competively and try to get the sale first with a low first page price. For bulk cards, you will lose money doing that in a lot of scenarios, so I prefer to just hold onto the inventory. If you are more focused on moving inventory of any kind, then price competively. If you want to lose money, stay above .25.

    • @PokeCon
      @PokeCon 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thank you for your video this content is very informative! I have a question about taxes and income. Do you have your own legal business entity? or are you able to use TCG as an employer? Will they send you a 1099 at the end of the year or are you responsible for filing your own income as your own business? I am considering selling YGO online and im just curious how that would all work
    Thanks for your time,

    • @TheLabTCG
      @TheLabTCG  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey NecroVoid, I'm not sure if this question is talking about TCGPlayer and their standard .78 rate or an individual seller setting their own rate. In most cases, if you follow the supplies videos I have posted you can get your PWE shipping cost under .80. The more supplies you buy in bulk, the cheaper that cost becomes. For more expensive orders, you are likely going to pay around $3 for a bubble mailer. It is ultimately up to the seller to charge what they think is fair on TCGPlayer. Let me know if that covers your question!
