Coincidentally, I tried this on my Giulietta, this weekend. I gave up after attempting 1 piece of the chrome trim, you've got to have the patience of a saint to do this, and that definitely isn't me. I also went with the gloss black vinyl, but as someone else has mentioned in the comments thinking about it again, I would now go with matte black and pay someone else to do it... lol.

I think I'm old school, I love the chrome trim. Have you tackled the rear anti roll bar again, I've just done the rear hubs, discs and pads and found play in most of the rear bushes, It looks like a bit of a mission to replace all of them, the full poly bush kit is probably the cheapest option at £468, I can't say I'm looking forward to it!

Yep, the rear anti roll bar is all done. The video is out for that. The front is yet to finish.

look at using knifeless tape you won't need to use a blade so would avoid any problems with the rubbers. Good job overall. I'm looking at doing mine when I have time.

I can’t see many people doing this successfully and because it’s a stick on job the vinyl is going to be easily damaged long term and it looks too shiny. Would it not be better to fork out for the more recent matt black units if it is really important to get away from the chrome which is perfectly compatible with a car of this vintage?
Hi Mark. Yes, the stick on piece is something that I’m keen to see how it fairs. This is a lot more cost efficient and less labour intensive than purchasing new parts. I don’t like chrome. But the American market loves chrome🙄
