Thanks. My rear door automatic locking started making some noises and now it stopped unlocking with the rest of the doors, what do you think of it is possible to fix it myself or is it buried deep in the door, Any experience with it?
thank you very much for your video I plan to soundproof the doors and trunk in the near future. I will need to remove the rivets inside the door. But I do not know the size, hole diameter and metal type of the new rivets to be applied. I need this information. The second thing I want to know is what is the speaker mounting depth from the middle sheet to the glass? For example, the speaker mounting depth I purchased is 75mm. How many mm thick do I need to use spacer? If the magnet side of the speaker touches the glass or if I use a spacer that is too thick, will the suspension part of the speaker hit the round protrusion on the plastic door panel? If you disassemble the speaker, can you measure the depth of the middle sheet to the glass? These are the things I need to learn too. thank you
This video is so frustrating, I have a problem with the main speaker connection and I watched the whole video just to see what the door looks like with the door cover removed so that I could see where the connector is ... but nothing! Is the speaker connector accessible without removing the entire door liner. The red/black connector visible at 0:58 - is that the speaker connetor? Do you have a picture of the entire door with the cover removed ?
When you remove the panel you got the access to speaker connector, it is right on top of the speaker, you can try removing the tweeter cover to see if you can get access to connector. Also you might have issue with door wiring loom
@@arcgarage Will you be showing this process as well? Which speakers did you choose for yours? Your videos helped me few times I appreciate your work! :)
@@doleginho Glad to hear that, thanks. I got speakers from Atoto, they are significantly better compared to factory ones. The sound is greatly improved, but now I am thinking about installing subwoofer and amplifier. However, it might be an overkill since it is a family car
Lavoro spiegato e fatto bene. Ma, andrebbe evitato, il togliere la griglia del tweeter, in quanto essendo troppo delicata,, si correrebbe il rischio di rompere uno o più agganci. Meglio toglierla dopo dall'interno.
inner metal door panel removal video please! Need to drill rivets off?

Great and useful video brother !! Cheers !
Thank you very much my Greek brother. Cheers

@@arcgarage Awesome! I'll stay tuned

Don't have the info on the size of the rivet holes, but I can tell you that I installed quite big speakers and i didn't have any issues with clearance
My door hinge is making extreme popping noise when opening and closing the door. Can you make a video on hoe to change the door hinge?
Will try to cover it
@@arcgarage thank you very much! I look forward to it. You helped me out alot with my alfa GT and now giulietta

Thanks for that, I think it's a speaker connection problem. If I hit the main speaker grill the sound comes back, maybe oxidation on the contacts.
To remove speakers we need to remove whole door panel right?
Yes, I did this video because I put in the new speakers. You will also need to drill out the rivets which hold the speaker in place

Thanks. I mentioned that in the video, but I did it anyways in case someone wants to remove it
