A bit fast talking but got there in the end Thanks.
You have really figured the whole thing out. Out standing video. I think you could spend a week in this video and learn something daily!
Thank you. New to XCS and just setup my F1 Ultra. New subscriber
the amount of stuff i learn from you in each video is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! The text manipulation is what I love to watch. I'm a graphic designer and am used to working in illustrator. The one thing I want to do in this software is letter kerning. can that be done? I haven't figured out how!
Aw thank you so much, Kathy. As for kerning, yes.
When the text is highlighted, on the object menu at the right, you will see the name of the font, the type/size, and then the leading (vertical) and kerning (horizontal) text options.
Depending on the font, the leading and kerning work well in XCS (you can go negative) but sometimes I manually place.
This is a great tutorial!! Got some good tips to make something new. Thank you!
Thank you 🎉

Ah, instead of name spewing bots we now are dealing with address dumping bots? Cool.

What font set is used at 4:55?
That font family is called "The Breaks Smooth" (there is another version with a very rough outer rim that wouldn't work the same for lasers. I got the smooth bundle here (affiliate, but you can also just type in "the breaks smooth font" and it should come up: fontbundles.net/plusstore/1327089-the-breaks-smooth-version?pref=lQohBO&ref=lQohBO
