If I could buy ANY car, it would be an RS3 in a heart beat. It kills me that we don't get the Avante over here in the US. I love my wagons and hatchbacks
Stock tire sizes on these cars just don't grip, the fronts run a 255/30/19. That side wall is way to narrow to hold any kind of real power. Switch to 18s with a thicker sidewall and she will hook just fine on PS4s
Same tires (235/35/20's) on my Model 3 Performance seem to cope with the power for the most part but I'm assuming that it's the boost that is breaking these loose. Not sure how they manage to grip with the instant hit of power from the Tesla. Plaid uses the same tires and 2x the power and the one I've ridden in seemed to also not have grip issues :/ My lease ends next year and the RS3 is at the top of my list and I'm already watching mod videos...
@@FastRedPonyCar I believe it’s the weight of EVs that help them stay planted. The Model 3 is 500lbs heavier than the RS3 and the S Plaid is well over 1,000lbs heavier
dont know if its well known but if you are in manual and downshift and open throttle immediately it dumps the clutch and builds full boost instantly, causing a kind of antilag
Az doesn’t have E85. It used to upto about 2018. It has been a blend E50-E51. There’s 95 octane in Scottsdale but it’s way expensive.you have to upgrade the fuel system for E25 and up.
great vid...how did the car run after you filled with e85 before flashing with the stage 2 E85 tune? I had a R35 GTR and I'd fill the tank and flash it (COBB) at the gas station. Never tried driving it to get the E85 into the fuel rails before the switching the tune.
The pilot 4s are crappy compared to the Pilot Super Sport they replaced. Going to need some DRs now. Odd too, I don’t know why they call these awd when they are mostly front wheel drive.
Rs3 stage 2 e85 is a mid to high 10 second car consistently theirs all sorts of things that matter power to weight putting power down etc but the most important thing is consistency. If the haldex can be locked at launch that setup is a 10.5 second setup all day stock turbo rs3s have already been jn the 9s its reliable. @@jack073 bro my b9 s4 fbo e40 was running 11.5 all day either something wrong with your rs3 or the tune is off stage 2 plus rs3 e85 is mid 500s wheel hp car easy 10 second car
@@go2guy look up Cobb green speed update. They basically changed the tuning software and took off some tables and shit to be compliant with California laws. Subaru got fucked and made it so u can’t run e85
@@therooster_ They didn't make it so you can't run E85. They made it so their flex fuel kit doesn't work. You can still have a separate E85 tune, just like the RS3 in this video. You just can't rely on the computer to adjust to different levels of E85. You have to know what is in there.
I mean... have you looked at the price tags? And nothing touches the new R's for anywhere near their price tag (assuming you buy new) unless you're willing to be seen in a Civic Type R.

Once you are tuned for e85, that is all you can use correct? This isn't a flex fuel situation when you can mix 93 and E85 at all?
Unitronic now has a flexi fuel tune
