Had brompton for 16 years and still learning. The urban decay in England means if they can't steal your bike they will trash it. Hence for me it solved the issue with Brompton. My son lives in Japan where millions of bikes are respected by people who respect themselves

I know, it’s bad in the cities at the moment. The Brompton attracts a lot of attention-good and bad.😬

Great video. I bought my Brompton in 2018 for riding around the Dallas area. I use two bags, the basket and the same T-Bag that you got. I love them both. I took my Brompton to Europe for two weeks in 2019 and rode it through France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany - 650 miles in total. I used some dry bags on the back to hold my tent and extra gear. It's a really great bike. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

I’m in Dallas too, and wondering if you found it preferable or more affordable to go to any bike shop in particular around here... I’ve just popped into the Richardson location of the R. Bike Mart and saw one Brompton on display. Don’t know if they have the best expert/s on folding bikes compared to other local shops. I hope to get the lightest possible setup since I’ll be rolling it into the store frequently to get a few heavier groceries like a big bag of dog food or couple of large milks....

88 miles! That is a decent distance in one day - dispels the myth that Bromptons are for short rides only. Lovely scenery, and the trails you used look very nice. Good move to get a bag, there is more wind resistance, but with your evident level of fitness, I am sure you will manage that well! My own roll top bag (but smaller than the T-bag) is always on the bike and I find it enhances my Brompton experience😊

Watching this video from Barcelona, it was fun seeing a Brompton bag designed here and being sold in a (fabulous) Brompton store in Colorado. That design is inspired by the 'Panot Tiles', which is the name given to one of the most famous patterns on the tiles used for Barcelona sidewalks. Cheers.

I am so enjoying you going into the technical side in a little more depth too. Have you ever heard of the Brompton Challenge. I have seen it in London a couple of times where riders from all over the world compete in a race around cobbled streets by Buckingham Palace. The riders wear suits and ties - it's a real fun event but I reckon you would stand a chance as you are fast! Look it up if you haven't heard of it. I think you will be wanting to take part once Coronavirus restrictions allow you to.

I'm on my third year of cycling with the T Bag. Hard to imagine that it could be improved upon. You'll love it. When loaded up to 40 lb. it does make the Brompton front heavy which only matters if you plant the front wheel in a rut or over a sandy ridge at which point you might launch, as I did last summer. Otherwise, despite the weight, the bike steers great even when carrying all kinds of stuff. Yes, the drink holder is useful!

Completely agree with your comments on the protests - violence and looting doesn’t solve anything, destroys any credibility and when the circus moves on just leaves more victims. Epic ride to Boulder - looks like you have some beautiful bike trails to ride 👍 My first Brompton bag was the T and it is excellent, but I got the one with the roll top (the Borough bag you were looking at) recently because it has more capacity and I still carry a drinks bottle in the pouch facing me - just leave it unzipped! The other thing I never leave home without is the tool kit - it wasn’t cheap but has all I need for roadside crises and I love that it sits in the frame and I can just forget about it until I might need it! Really enjoying your vlogs 🌟🌟 thanks for sharing 😁

I got a roll top bag for my 2019 S6E bike, which is ideal. I've also just taken delivery of an "Electric" M6L in "Bolt Blue", to a factory ready spec, it's a work of art in that superb lacquer. I'm almost 68 years old, and after a cycling absence of about 14 years, on a coastline with some horrendous headwinds, I reckon I need some assistance at times.
I also purchased the "City bag" for the "Electric", for the extra capacity it gives over the basic battery bag, which accommodates little more than a mobile phone and a wallet. I'd like to retro fit the bike with black S bars (by far my preferred riding position) though I'll need to check whether this bag would fit S bars, using my S6E as the test bed.
I've also been trying to buy some mudguards (fenders) for the S6E now Winter is here, but they're unobtainable. It appears that all components are being used by Brompton to build factory ready bikes, in the most popular specifications.

Lee proudly served his country to protect the rights and freedoms of all members of this great melting pot of a nation. Seeing his image used to cause hate of any kind especially for those exercising their freedoms in protest against this issue hurts.
