    "An ability to get the most out of everyone". Very easily said, very easily under-appreciated, and the primary weakness of mediocre or incompetent senior managers.
    This should be the foundation of any effective leader, and it is too often the most overlooked aspect. This is quite likely the reason why the previous director failed, and, if not given sufficient attention, why you too will fail in galvanising, motivating, and leading your team into success.

    Hi there! Not sure if you’ll answer but I’ll ask anyway!
    I’ve had a phone interview and a task, they’ve said I did a brilliant job with the task and they now want me to meet the directors, do you think this is a good sign and I could potentially be offered the job? They didn’t tell me what this meeting was about

    • @CareerVidz
      @CareerVidz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      YES A GOOD SIGN

    • @MatthewJ-cu3bg
      @MatthewJ-cu3bg ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a good sign. But don’t relax just yet. It doesn’t matter how many compliments you get. It doesn’t matter how much interviewers say they like you. Until you have a JOB OFFER, you have NOTHING. Think about what you’re left with if you’re rejected but said they liked you. Did you really get what you want? Never make assumptions about being chosen. Bring your 100% EVERY INTERVIEW until you have a written offer in front of you. Good luck.

    The question of where the previous Director failing is a little flawed. You would need to ask why the previous Director has failed. If the VP doesn't know then the VP is the problem, and you don't want to work there. If the VP can outline why previous Directors have failed, then you need to address those challenges.

    "Decisions are not about individuals" at 5:15. Mr. McMunn, you failed the interview, Sir.
