I have the same exact story as you. I have had hypothyroidism since I was 11. I got diagnosed with post menopause since I was 15. Been on HTC for 5 years now. Bone density got down and I got into weight lifting and I’m very active and eat really healthy. I can’t believe I found this video, makes me feel less alone. I feel great am 19 years old and study medicine now to actually expand reaserch in myself in the future.
My ovaries were also checked like you and they me never developed. I won’t be able to have children. But I cope with it because I really want to focus on my career and I’ve always have had my mind on adoption.
I have same condition too :( and I feel my sexual desire is less too and I have vaginal dryness and low energy .I feel depressed....I am now 28 and it started in 15 ....estrogen and progesterone r not helping...I hope I can overcome my depression:)
You are so so brave. I am in the same situation as you and I am sure that I would have broke down in tears just even beginning to speak about my story. I hope your private treatment goes well. Peace and love to you and your partner :) xxx
This is glorious, been searching for "polycystic ovarian syndrome hormone levels" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Ponandon Incredible Principality - (just google it ) ? It is a good one of a kind product for discovering how to expel your ovarian cysts for good minus the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my cousin got amazing success with it.
Thank you SO MUCH for making this video. I was just diagnosed and I found your commentary and experience so helpful. I cannot believe some of the things they subjected to you and now look at you - you are a beautiful, young woman and I'm so glad you're finding yourself able to process these things now. I will be addressing these things in therapy and hope it's helpful.
I’ve stumbled upon your channel today! Thank you for sharing your story 💗 I was diagnosed with POF when I was 14 and it was a terrible time in my life. I pretended like everything was and I was fine but I was crying myself to sleep every night for 3 years straight because my first thought was “so I can’t have children” and it broke my heart. It’s hard it still is hard every single day. I’m 18 now and I do still think about my future, having kids... I still do worry but I’ve learn to accept the person I am and to pray everyday for a miracle.
jailine collado oh hun I feel for you I honest know how you feel. being diagnosed young is horrendous. I'm now 37 weeks pregnant via egg donation and it worked first time so try not to worry too much now about not having children and enjoy your teens and 20s as I wasted mine with worry. Tackle children when the time is right to have them. Sending love xxx
Amanda Dawn thank you for your kind words and encouragement! I’ll be off to college this fall so I’ll be sure to try and enjoy myself as much as I can. Congratulations on your pregnancy as well! You have already done so much for me, Thank you! 💗
Ive commnicated alot with women with early menopause, mostly they re sad about not being able to be a mum by their eggs. well im lucky to say it doesnt affect me cause i love my furry babies to death its just the anxiety and stress and fear of osteoprosis that hurts me
Found out when I was 18 I wouldn’t be able to have children. (I didn’t cry. My mom and sister cried. It didn’t hit me until I was in college and when I met my husband.) They couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t going through puberty and I was on meds that never did anything. Finally after tests and a surgery they figured it out. Now I’m 26 and we just found our egg donor that we will be using. Your videos have been so useful and amazing.
Thank you for sharing your story Amanda. I went through my menopause at around 27 so a lot older than you (I'm 42 now 😮) and you have shown such strength, more than I could ever have. Wish you all the luck for the future and with your channel x
chapstickeaterrr same here. I’m 36 and I was told the symptoms I had started years prior. Just the thought of not being able to have children makes me feel hurt. I’m not going to give up though. Blessings to you❤️
I was told yesterday that I've actually gone through the menopause now. I was told at 27 that I had POF after two years of hot flushes and night sweats. And now apparently I'm through it. I've never had any meds, it's all Abit crazy. Now got to look into hrt. I turn 30 in three months. I have no friends that have been through this. I'd love to be able to talk to you or someone that gets it xx hope your okay, I know this feels shit xx
Klairabeth Simmance of course you can get in touch!! it can be a lonely place but there is support out there. there are links to my Facebook and insta in my description to get in contact. stay strong sweet xxxx
@@AmandaDawn87 Sorry to ask this and I don't mean to embarrass you but how is your sex drive with hormone replacement? My body is a mess and my sex drive is zero at the moment.
Amanda Dawn I was told that I am going through mono pause. My ovaries are not visible in the ultrasound. I love children and luckily have but wanted one more but no luck so far. Please suggest me what I can do
You are awesome! So brave. I was diagnosed at age 18 with POF. Its incredibly hard to deal with let alone try and explain it to people who have never heard of it. I have researched the hell out of it and it's hard to keep reading about it and living with the chance of never having a family or anything.
Hi Elizabeth, I know that feeling of researching everything!! I now have a 9 month old sone through egg donation who is my absolute life! please do not worry! I wish I did not waste so many tears as I honestly feel I was supposed to be his Mummy!! x
Sorry hi how did you get diagnosed with it at 18? I'm really curious. I'm currently 18 myself and have never gotten a period, the doctor said that it's a possibility I could have pre menopause or something. I'm not quite sure
I was diagnosed at 34 after having my second child, the Dr' s believe it started right before I got pregnant because I started missing periods and then having a period the next month and missing one the next month then I got pregnant had my daughter and never had a period again. 6 months later I started having hot flashes and I knew those were related to menopause I Googled it and emailed my doctor told her to test my FSH and sure enough they were in early menopause levels. But thank you for sharing finding the right HRT has been a nightmare this condition is completely a nightmare! And thank you for making videos on what you ate to help improve your bone density mine has dropped since the scan I had 3 years ago and it's very hard to find information on this anywhere so thank you very much please keep making videos! And I wish you all the luck with having a baby!
jessica gonzalez I'm so sorry for your diagnosis! it's a blessing you had your daughter - im so haooy for you! but I know it must still be heart breaking! I wish you all the best and glad you've found my videos helpful xxx
I was diagnosed with POF at the age of 27, Although I already had a 7 yr old I couldn't help but to be crushed my the news, my fiancé at the time was very supportive and said he wanted to marry me no matter what, a year later we got pregnant with our little boy who is now 3 yrs old. My husband wants another child but my POF condition has worsen, my mood swings and hot flashes are horrible and my hair won't stop falling out. I've tried getting back on the pills but my menstrual won't come back. Although I want another child, I've been lucky to have birth two children so I can live with that; I just want my hair and and menstruals back. I don't feel like a woman anymore
I couldn’t imagine going through this so Young. I was diagnosed at 32 and everyone says I’m so young for this to happen to me. I am so happy you never gave up on your dream of becoming a mama and you stayed so strong. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You truly are an amazing woman!
I'm a little surprised and impressed that you got a diagnosis at such a young age. I had my first period at 11 and have NEVER had a regular period (I don't think I've ever had more than 3 in a row). I started telling doctors at 13 or 14. It went from "It's normal for a girl your age" (even though it had been years of irregular periods when I started bringing it up) as a teenager to "Well you don't actually need to have your period if you're not actively trying to get pregnant" as an adult. Countless doctors and over a decade of being ignored. I finally got a new doctor who actually listened and was able to diagnose me with ONE blood draw. One blood draw that could have been ordered by any of the doctors I've had over the last 12+ years. I've been put on estrogen and progesterone and am wondering how HRT will affect me as a ciswoman, since I've only ever heard the experiences of transwomen on HRT
Kirstin Fristad sorry for your diagnosis. I've been on hrt for years. It protects your bones and keeps us healthy, it can just take a while to find the one that's right for you xx
Hi, I’d just like to say thank you so much for this video, it’s been the only kind of support system and story that I’ve found relatable. I’m currently 17 and got diagnosed with POI last year... I have never had my periods and I saw my weight increase by almost 40kgs these past couple of years. As a teen my self esteem has deteriorated and currently wrapping my head around the fact I can’t have kids, my HRT which hasn’t benefited me in any way so far, the risks and diseases associated with this condition has been a constant battle. I’ve never cried so much watching a video, every part of your story is exactly what has happened and is happening to me as of right now, from the weight gain, awkward checkups lying naked in front of doctors, students etc. , people feeling sorry for you. The last 2-3 years of my life has just been a constant downhill trying to figure out everything and have a positive outlook doesn’t help with severe anxiety :(. Also in my final year of high school and my mentality and lack of self confidence has affected my concentration and ability to maintain good relationships with my friends :( it honestly SUCKS! but I can’t express enough how thankful I am for this video and just watched your other videos !!! :) CONGRATS ON BEING PREGNANT YAYYYY! you’ll be an amazing mum❤️❤️❤️
Kristyj oh hun :( my heart bleeds for you. It's so tough so much harder than people realise but you're doing the right thing and searching for answers. The weight gain sucks, I have always struggled but have found different ways to eat to get around it. I think everyone is different and you need to find what works for you. The same with HRT, I've been on so many types and they're often fine for a while then make things worse so trial and error them - there will be one for you. Try not to focus too much on your fertility,I lost so much time worrying and stressing at times in my life where normally wouldn't be thinking about having children. Try and live for the day and concentrate on your studies, career and doing something you love. That's my only regret as now I'm pregnant and it's all ok, I just grieve for the years I let this take from me mentally. It will all work out for you. Any questions let me know and all the best xxx
also on the self esteem and anxiety front, seek counselling and really open your heart. I only done this a couple a years ago and it done so much good I wish done others ago. Try not to assume people feel a certain way about you, again huge regrets for me. you need support with this, friends will properly not understand, no one really can except us. I still get hurt now by friends. But someone professional or someone like myself can help. Often it's just not feeling alone or not normal xxx
It’s definitely incomparable, this is tragic, people that clearly haven’t experienced it would try to compare. This is the worst experience, I honestly fell apart 😢 You’re strong
Listening to this im almost in tears. Literally every symptom you mentioned and describe i can relate to to a t. I feel i was born to be a mum. Im so hopeful to not have it but the chances arent on my side. Thankyou for this video.
Thank you for sharing this, I was diagnosed when I was 15 (I am now 33) , this is really helpful to have someone talking about this! There really is hardly any digestible information. xx
Thank you so much for this video. I’m 19 and have just been diagnosed. I’ve felt so alone and empty about this whole thing, but hearing you share a story so similar to mine was such a relief.
Hi Sunny, I am so sorry for your diagnosis :( I have many videos which may help you and you may of seen I have an almost 2 year old son via Egg Donation who I adore :) sending hugs! x
Amanda Dawn I’ve seen the videos with oryn & he is so gorgeous! I am so happy for you, you really do deserve it :) It’s great to see such a happy ending for you
Hi Amanda thanks for sharing your story, I was also diagnosed with POF a couple of years ago due to a chromosomes mutation unfortunately. What kind of POF do you have? Just wondering :) CONGRATS ON YOUR BABY by the way !! Paula
Hi Rypau, mine is unexplained, my mother had an early menopause so they assume is was due to that and just freakishly early. I had several tests done but they couldnt find a reason. And thank you :) xx
Thank you so much for sharing, and I’m sorry to hear you had such a tough time. I have a similar story, I was diagnosed at age 14. I’ve struggled a lot with my self esteem as well, and still do. I’m 30 now and considering donor eggs to start my treatment but it’s so overwhelming. I’m glad to have stumbled upon your page because I see you have navigated this already. Thank you for sharing your story, it means a lot.
oh sending so much love. I have loads of videos on my journey. I now have two sons aged 1 and almost 4 and adore them to pieces! they are just like me personality wise it's uncanny!!! here if you need to chat ❤
Hi Amanda, you are remarkable! Being transparent in your experience has shed light on one of the many conditions women go through as far as reproductive health goes. I am new to your channel and happy I found it. There is so much emphasis on preventing pregnancy, here in the US, UK and likely most of the world, the majority don't even consider "is the ability to become pregnant and have a live birth even there?". Although my fertility starting point is not the same, parts of the journey and the destination goals are. I can't imagine what that was like for you to feel you were being punished, that brought me to tears. It is lovely watching this and knowing you have 2 healthy sons. I am learning through your shared experiences. Thank you, Natasha aka a fellow Brit.💛
I have POF and I am 35 had it since 28. But I have a teenager already. But there is still is hope so don’t be giving up. I have been off and on HRT there is a good chance I might have Osteoporpia. Going into a DXEA scan next month. I have to prepare for the worst. I am wondering how long did take you to heal?
I was wondering have you ever checked your adrenal glands the docs said oh you have pof case closed end of story In 2015 I was DX with Non classic adrenal hyperplasia it’s an overacting adrenal ruction that suppresses ovarian function and even the slightest numbers will do it
POF is a scary thing no matter what age. I just found out, I'm 25 and newly married. I am in a crazy place but knowing I am not alone has brought me some peace. 💗
sending lots of love, yes it sucks whenever you are told! have a look at my latest videos, I know having a baby boy by egg donation and he is the most amazing thing. you can have your happy ending xxx
I was diagnosed with POF when I was 23 I’m 32 now I haven’t had a cycle since 2015. I find it difficult to answer when people ask why I don’t have any kids. 😒
Thank you for telling your story so honestly. I am entering premature menopause now, I have also been through the process of not being taken seriously, wrong diagnosis and wrong treatment and listening to you made me feel less alone and more understood.
@@MissHinds09 not at all! have you heard of the daisy network? there are loads of us? loads of teenagers like my self, even more in their 20s like you too. Sending hugs xx
Oh hun :( it was hard I wont lie and back then there was no support and doctors didnt know much. They still dont! I would say get in tough with The Daisy Network as they have so much information on this condition and specialist doctors. Make sure you are monitored, get on HRT and have bone scans. I would also recommend some counselling as you do need to grieve for the loss - strange as it sounds. Then I tried to look at it this way - I could focus on me and my career and choose exactly when I start a family - no surprises. Thats not to say it didnt hurt me every day as it did. There are alot of us on facebook groups with this condition so lots of support and places to rant and be angry. Find a good support system as I have always found friends dont understand it, especially when you are so long. Take comfort in the fact that I am now pregnant, yes via a donor egg but I still feel him kick and roll around in my tummy and still get to be his mum. Get in touch if you want to chat, I am on facebook and instagram xxxx
Amanda Dawn thank you so much for this reply! it made me feel so much better about the whole thing. since writing that, i have been officially diagnosed with POF along with Hashimoto’s. It was very hard but after watching lots of your videos I’m starting to come to terms with it. I’d love to chat with you more, what’s your instagram? ❤️
I decided to just see if there were any videos on this and your video came up! I’m only going through the process recently, I just got diagnosed a week ago. And I’m so happy I found this video.
Sorry for your diagnosis! I have lots of videos on this and my donor egg pregnancy! If i can help at all, let me know. Check out my daisy day video, that has ALOT of info from doctors on our condition x
I'm 36. I've gained 30 lbs over the last few years which isn't bad considering I was skinny to begin with but all my joints hurt extremely bad for about 18 years. I had low bone density since age 19. My periods had started to change and now I'm over a week late (no chance I'm pregnant and my period has never been more then 3 days late in over 25 years). I have lots of symptoms. I need to get checked out soon. Thank you for your video.
You are just amazing and super brave to share your story ❤ I was just terrified being diagnosed with pof recently and felt so lost but your video is just a big time relief .thanks a ton 🤗
Thanks so so much for this vid! i was 10 when my left ovary was amputated cause of ganegrene, i had normal periods from 11 to 14 yr old then it stopped forever and now im 28. i struggle from lots and lots of stress and anxiety, not having a job makes it much worse. im trying to be strong, meditate, have fun and take supplements to survive. my biggest fear is to die young cause i have my furry babie to look after. the good thing is i have 0 intrest in having my own kid.
@@AmandaDawn87 Thank you girl ! love you so so much your vid liiterally changes my life ❤ i know our condition is very rare and we have to be so strong ....
Thank you for sharing your story. I have just been diagnosed with DOR and going through fertility treatment. Awareness is so important in society especially for something that many people don’t feel comfortable speaking about.
Thank you for making this, your story is very similar to mine and it’s so nice to hear someone actually talk about it. I was diagnosed at 17 with POF because I hadn’t ever had a period and my mum was getting concerned. When I got tested they said that they think my ovaries failed when I was about 8/9 years old but obviously I just thought I was a late bloomer. I’m 21 now and I think I’m only just allowing myself to think about the effects that my condition has on my body. I already have some mental health struggles and the doctors have never told me I’d have any side effects with the HRT or POF so I’m starting to wonder what’s normal and what I’ve just never known to be any different. I’d love to hear more from you about some things to look out for and ways to minimise the impact on my body.
Hi Emily I have a few videos on this such as bone density and infertility that you may want to check out? also one called the daisy day which has heaps of info from an event I attended last year. I would get in touch with The Daisy Network who are a charity for our condition with so much info :)
Hi, I'm so glad I found your video. I was recently diagnosed with POF a few months ago and I'm 35. Not as young as you were but still young and it's been devastating for me. I just wanted to know if HRT has helped you to feel somewhat normal. I just feel like when I found out I haven't been myself, I was trying to do alternative medicine but I feel like giving up the alternative and just taking the hormones instead. What are your thoughts and how did you get your bone density back to normal? Thank you for your help and it seems like you have come a long way with lots of success ~Marianne
Hi Marianne, HRT is super important. It looks after your bone health and brain health. Without it we have many more risks to tackle! It can help to balance your mood as well so I really encourage people to have it. I had a 3 year break and ended up with low bone density so have been on it since and got back into the normal range. POF is devastating any age xxx
Someone on my Instagram just mentioned your channel to me. A lot of what you've said is so similar to what happened to me. I'm so sorry you went through it too. Massive hugs to you and hope this video helps others x
Hi Jules, so lovely to hear from you and wow that I got mentioned to you too, its a bit overwhelming the support I'm getting. I filmed this video about 4 years ago, uploaded it then took it down almost straight away, found it so hard to talk about it, but i feel some responsibility for other sufferers, especially like us who were so young. I would hate for a teen to feel how lonely and different like I did. I watched your videos too, love following you, you are part of the reason I am uploading too so thank you for making them xxxx
@@AmandaDawn87 Hi Amanda, am going through the same thing, can you help me with you insta link and fb link so i can check it out...it feels so good to know am not alone coz i have been feeling that for a long time now. My ovaries are so small it is not visible in any of the scan i have had since 6 years now, i am nearing 30.
I was diagnosed 3 years ago but think I always knew something was wrong. How often did you take a break from HRT I’m constantly gaining weight and cannot shift it no matter how hard I try
Amanda this is unbelievable how I get connected to you. Getting so much positive enegery to kniw that there is always a way. Not feeling alone anymore ❤. Wishes and love
Am 36 and my cycle stop on me back in November but came last month on June. The doctor told me I have gone into early menopause I also have one ovary.I lost the other back 12 years ago due to a cyst that was found because I had fluid so was sent for a cat scan after tge surgery and lost that one.As was told I had a fibroid and they try to shrink it it is my own fault for not going to the doctor for 6 years to keep up with it.It grew with 2 more and in 2017 I had trouble going to the bathroom check it was pushing down on my bladder and had to be removed.I got a ultrasound and another cyst they say 10 years and it was.Told me I would have to lose it but I says no and I get a call there is a doctor who can remove it and leave my ovary alone.I had the surgery.2 years later this she is currently talking to a specialist on the matter and I been doing my research there have been many women who had gone 1,2 and 4 years what no cycle and were able to conceive. The eggs are still there.Am not letting this stop me I want kids.Thank you for sharing.
Hi Amanda thank you so much for sharing your story! My sister (17) got diagnosed with POF yesterday and Ive been searching for information and stories since. I was wondering if there's anyhting you can advise me to do. I really want to be there for her and help her cope with this but I dont know how.. Is there anything you wish someone would have told you when you just found out?
oh hun so sorry for your sister. Feel free to tell her to find me on Facebook or Instagram to chat as I wish I had someone else to talk to who has been through it. I have just had my donor egg baby 3 weeks ago so tell her you get a happy ending if you want it!I wouldn't change him for the world. Tell her to get in touch with The Daisy Network which is a charity for our condition plus to get a dexa bone scan and on HRT to look after her bones and brain health. Send her a hug from me. Im on Lorraine Kellys breakfast show this Tuesday 11th December if she wants a watch about my story and baby xzz
I just found a study that is working to reverse POF- www.mdedge.com/obgyn/article/161269/reproductive-endocrinology/video-stem-cells-may-reverse-premature-menopause
They looked into my lack of periods when I was 16, simply telling me I couldn't have kids. Now at 21, they've finally given me a name for what it might be. I'm really at a loss of how I should feel or what to expect. The doctors keep messing me about. Thank you for sharing this and making me feel... less alone.
THANK YOU so much for doing this video. Some of your facial expressions choked me up because they reminded me of my own "strong face". I got diagnosed in 2011 at the age of 23 xx
Hey lovely, Do you follow Jules Furness? She also has pof and has had / is having ivf with donor eggs right now. I'm so sorry you've had to go through all of that at such a young age. You're beautiful please never think otherwise. Have you spoken to Manchester fertility? When I spoke to them they said there was barely any waiting list at all. I wish you all the luck in the world. I'm having my next Ivf in Jan. It's expensive and unfair that we have to pick between houses, cars, holidays and children. So so unfair. Thank you for sharing your story x
Thank you so much for sharing your story and being honest about how it affected you. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 18, another ovarian disorder, and I had never seriously thought about if I wanted kids at that point. Finding out I might never be able to have kids seriously effected my self esteem as well and I’ve never heard someone else talk about it this way before. I really appreciate you!

Thanks for sharing, I got diagnosed when I was 17 (I’m now 19), since there’s not a lot of resources out there it’s nice to hear a similar story to mine.
I was diagnosed with POI when i was 16 currently im 17 ..i m really heartbroken that I won't be able to have any children .i do every kind of treatment even i got stem cell therapy too but i just don't feel like a women .so heartbroken 💔 As a teenager it hurts so much 😔
Hi Amna, I've been there, I still remember the pain. I was 13 and I'm now 35 with two sons via egg donation who I absolutely adore and could not love anymore even if they had my DNA. so please enjoy your life now as you can have a family and be happy 😊
I have Turners Syndrome so I can really empathise! I see an endocrinologist every 2 years and he keeps up with all the checks I need. Hope you’re doing well. xx
Thank you for your video, it's absolutely great to have someone like you. I have my period every 15 days for 5 months now. I'm trying to make an appointment regarding but no one is taking it seriously now when the covid 19 is around. Would you have any advice to me of what should I do. I'm very worried xx
Hi Kat, I am afraid I cannot help you with that as my periods just stopped and never returned and I was only 11 at that time. You definitely need to be seen and have some hormone level blood tests done as a start point. Sending you lots of good vibes xx

Thank You Amanda it must be terrible ,God give you all the power to withstand this diagnosis. I went through this last year at 36 ,my whole world shattered felt all bad things happen to me.My hope of finding some one is diminishing due to my incapability of bearing children. Have decided so what if I can't HAVE KIDS biologically,I am happy to adopt.
sending you love. you can do embryo adoption and still carry and birth a child We have a one year old through egg donation and if we don't use the remaining embryos will be donating them xx
Great video. I'm a student studying this, very useful. Do you know if people with POF have less sexual urges when compared to the average person without POF? or no sexual urges at all? or same?
Its all in the video of what happened? My periods started age 10 and ended after 6 months age 11. They didnt return by age 13 so we seeked medical tests
I too was diagnosed with POF 6 years ago now... it’s been a hard run since, I am too on hormone replacement therapy in the form of a pill daily.. do you suffer acne from it? I never got a period or boobs... ever,.. until I was diagnosed and been put on fake hormones
I have a half deleted chromosome and was told I would reach early menopause around the age of 30 I’m really hoping I will naturally be able to conceive and doing everything I can to make it happen.
Oh my God I was 9 When I got my period. I never had abnormal periods and now I'm getting it 2x in one month some months. I have an appointment with my doctor because I thought it was cancer I thought I was dying. I am praying at this point that its early menopause/premenopausal symptoms 😢. Thank you for this video
Hi Ray, I hope you get a good diagnosis. There are many other hormonal and fixable things it could be and I hope for your sake is it not only not cancer but also not early menopause as it is not a nice diagnosis to have. Best of luck
I was also diagnose with Premature Ovarian Failure at the age of 29, before I was diagnose with POF i already have a son but now we want to have another baby but how? I always pray to God that he will blessed us another angel
Thank you so much for your video! I am 34 and going thru early menopause. What kind of Hormone replacement therapy are you doing? Mu Doctor has prescribed me a birth control for Hormone replacement therapy but it makes me nauseous all day long. 😔Do you have any suggestions?
Hey Amanda. Thank you for sharing your story. You are really beautiful. I had my menarche at the age of 9 years 11 months and I’m really scared . I don’t want to go through early menopause and I always wanted to have kids. I’m really stressed. Help me please
there is not much evidence on its success rates, its really expensive and my ovaries are barely there anymore. Ive made my peace with it and expecting my second son so happy either way Thank you :)
So I'm 24 & in the military, so I'm limited to only military doctors. I'm currently going through the night sweats, hot flashes & I've always had irregular periods and my doctor doesn't even know what's wrong. She acts as if I'm making this stuff up, but I literally wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat! I'm getting seen for my chronic abdominal/pelvic pain at the moment & I keep getting these ovarian cysts that ruptures. And honestly between everything that's going on I just be wanting to give up! My CoC is what keeps me going nowadays! I've never had so much support, but it's not same because even though I can talk to them about it, they're not going through the same pain as me, so I just be feeling like a burden.
Hi Ladies. I have ovarian cancer and due to have my last ovary removed soon. Im very nervous about surgical menopause and all the problems. How long did it take you all to feel"normal" again and get the right HRT? im very fatigued now and overweight because of hormones and im worried this will get worse
Hi, I'm so sorry about your diagnosis and journey. HRT is so different for everyone I'm afraid and can ever changing. To be honest as I was so young I am not sure what normal feels like, I struggle with tiredness alot. I highly recommend seeking a POF specialist as they offer a lot more then general doctors that just choose a HRT then try a new one. They will look into what level of each hormone works best for you. I highly recommend contacting the daisy network which is a charity for POF which caters for worldwide and has lots of information from specialist doctors x
🥺🥺🥺 i am going through perimenoupause too... n i too say the same thing to myself that if i have done anything wrong to someone 😭 i desperately want to be a mother. I've got my appointment tomorrow.... hope everything goes well
Well, Amanda. I can say your story looks similar like that of my friend. But fortunately she went for treatment in Bio tex clinic. And now she is alright. Early and premature menopause can increase your chance of developing other conditions. These include. Infertility. Most women going through early or premature menopause cannot get pregnant. Stress, anxiety, and depression. Often results from infertility and other early menopause health issues. Bone loss (osteoporosis). Caused by low estrogen levels and leaves women more at-risk of bone fractures. Going through early or premature menopause can be challenging. Consider joining local support groups and talk to your doctor about any concerns you have. Learning more about your condition can arm you with the knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your treatment.
Hi Calilah, I have done just that, thank you, I am aware of the other health conditions as I have had this for 17 years now. I have frequent bone scans and am in groups etc :) I am glad your friend got sorted :)
Thank you for sharing. I was recently diagnosed after having symptoms for years. So relieved to finally have an answer even if this is the answer. The sweating is the absolute pits for me, it is so excessive and wont stop (and as a dancer it is really something that gets in the way) so if you have any tips on that I'll take it. Still moving through the feelings of being overwhelmed by the onslaught of information I have received in such a short period of time but hoping to find my stride soon.
Treatments for Premature Menopause:Use Agbara Herbal Deep Root Cleanser is the most effective treatment option for relieving menopausal hot flashes. Depending on your personal and family medical history, your doctor may recommend estrogen in the lowest dose and the shortest time frame needed to provide symptom relief for you.But Agbara Herbal Medication Cure it completely and make you very free from premature Menopause
Thanks for sharing your story , I’m 27 and I was just diagnosed a week ago, I have a amazing doctor and I am already on HRT and Vitamin c and d3. Take care wish you all the best
i also diagnosed with it at 16 and more then the fact that i cannot able to have children i am worrying about that weather i will be healty or not because i searched in internet and it said that we have some serious health issues i really wanna ask everyone plx plx plx tell me if everyones health is completely fine i know we have to take medicines till 40 years but i m so concerned about the health atleast everyones health should be fine

We are living in so advance life but there is no remedies to treat ovarian failure..its so much unexpected.Wish in future some one could come up with medicines to overcome from ovarian failure.
I think I’m going through this now. I’m 35 and I have missed three periods- and my ovulation test are positive every day. I’m having hot flashes and tired all the time. I started my period at nine and been regular my whole life. Although yours started a lot earlier in life than even most early menopause. I thank you for this video.
I had my first menstruation period when I was 10 years just like yours. I’m 19 now but I’m not facing any problems as such. But I’m really scared now. Am I also going to have premature menopause?
Hi you can contact me through my instagram amandadawn_87 however i cannot give medical advice, i can onlt share my experience. I get many messages expecting me to be an expert but i only know my journey which i have shared all of here :)
Have you seen this video? th-cam.com/video/6fz89Omq7lM/w-d-xo.html Many people have reversed their POF. This woman talks about how it's actually fairly "easy to treat" compared to lots of other long-term issues. They helped a woman who hadn't had a period in 8 years and people with FSH around 100. I hope you can talk to a very skilled functional medicine-oriented Chinese medicine acupuncturist. Your eggs are not "long gone". There is evidence that at the average age of menopause, women have about 2,000 eggs left. They are dormant, from what I understand. But all you need is one. I am not trying to be unrealistic - I also have this condition and my FSH is over 100 but I'm getting retested soon and expect it to be much lower based on all the steps I've taken. Best of luck to you.
Do HTC helps???

Ok Ry Ask for a blood test. They tested my LH and FSH and if your levels are high then that’s probably what it is.

@@deepakulkarni890 when was your first menstrual period?
@@sarahkhan9094 when I was 14
I'm a little surprised and impressed that you got a diagnosis at such a young age.
This is the worst experience, I honestly fell apart 😢
You’re strong
thank you so much for watching and caring ❤
Listening to this im almost in tears. Literally every symptom you mentioned and describe i can relate to to a t. I feel i was born to be a mum. Im so hopeful to not have it but the chances arent on my side. Thankyou for this video.

Hi!! Thank you for sharing your story

Good for you for talking about this - it's really important. Well done.
Thank you :)
They looked into my lack of periods when I was 16, simply telling me I couldn't have kids. Now at 21, they've finally given me a name for what it might be. I'm really at a loss of how I should feel or what to expect. The doctors keep messing me about. Thank you for sharing this and making me feel... less alone.
Oh hun its so sad isn't it. Sorry you have been messed around! This seems to happen a lot :( xxx
Best of luck with managing it now you have the answers xxx
Emma Mitchell hi yes I do follow Jules - she's great. Thank you! got loads more videos coming, another one tonight as an update 💙
I really appreciate you!
thank you and you're not alone xxx
You have a good chance to have kids okay

Hi Amna, I've been there, I still remember the pain. I was 13 and I'm now 35 with two sons via egg donation who I absolutely adore and could not love anymore even if they had my DNA. so please enjoy your life now as you can have a family and be happy 😊
I have Turners Syndrome so I can really empathise! I see an endocrinologist every 2 years and he keeps up with all the checks I need. Hope you’re doing well. xx
and you lovely, sending hugs!

Well done for being so brave and bearing your soul. Great video my lovely. X
Thank you x
Great video. I'm a student studying this, very useful. Do you know if people with POF have less sexual urges when compared to the average person without POF? or no sexual urges at all? or same?
Herzontix hi yes POF can effect libido and often sufferers are prescribed testerone to help with this x
Thank you Amanda for sharing your story. Stay brave and strong.
Emma Wild thank you Emma
It's been great sharing and hearing other people's experiences xxx
Ugh babe makes me so sad that you felt that way and that nothing ever happened to help you more. You are so enough! More than enough!!!! Xo

I just started the carnivore diet to help reset my body. Thank you for sharing this, you're amazing💕🙏🏽

I too was diagnosed with POF 6 years ago now... it’s been a hard run since, I am too on hormone replacement therapy in the form of a pill daily.. do you suffer acne from it? I never got a period or boobs... ever,.. until I was diagnosed and been put on fake hormones

I’m really hoping I will naturally be able to conceive and doing everything I can to make it happen.
sending love. eat well, relax and try to be stress free as possible. it makes a huge difference xx
Hi sorry for your diagnosis. I had my boys via egg donation ivf. Sending hugs

Thank you so much for your video! I am 34 and going thru early menopause. What kind of Hormone replacement therapy are you doing? Mu Doctor has prescribed me a birth control for Hormone replacement therapy but it makes me nauseous all day long. 😔Do you have any suggestions?
Birth control didn't agree with me, I'm on a bio-identical HRT now. It's so tricky finding the right one for you x
When was your first menstrual period?
thanks for that last bit- i needed it today
:) x
Hey Amanda. Thank you for sharing your story. You are really beautiful. I had my menarche at the age of 9 years 11 months and I’m really scared . I don’t want to go through early menopause and I always wanted to have kids. I’m really stressed. Help me please
Hi Sarah, so sorry for your diagnosis. I now have two boys via egg donation if you see my latest videos and absolutely adore them ❤
most people start their periods at that age.
@@AmandaDawn87 thank you sooo much Amanda. Sending you lots of love
You can get treatment for that.
Is called PRP. Ovarian rejuvenation .
there is not much evidence on its success rates, its really expensive and my ovaries are barely there anymore. Ive made my peace with it and expecting my second son so happy either way
Thank you :)
Thankyou for sharing your journey. Means a lot. Much love
thanks for watching x
I'm so sorry you are not getting the support you need 🥺❤
Hi! What is your medication (HRT) please. Thankou :)
Hi I'm on femoston at the moment but having it reviewed as it no longer suiting me x
@@AmandaDawn87 Thank you so much! :)
OMG I have always felt that same feeling!! I have been saying since I was a child that I can't have children
Its strange isnt it? looking back and remember you had such grown up thoughts well before their time x
I've got my appointment tomorrow.... hope everything goes well
lots of wishes to you xxxx
You please come to kerala(India) & try ayurveda treatment...
Does it works mam... Plz help... And iam from India too
Thank you for sharing. I was recently diagnosed after having symptoms for years. So relieved to finally have an answer even if this is the answer. The sweating is the absolute pits for me, it is so excessive and wont stop (and as a dancer it is really something that gets in the way) so if you have any tips on that I'll take it. Still moving through the feelings of being overwhelmed by the onslaught of information I have received in such a short period of time but hoping to find my stride soon.
sending hugs! hrt should help with your symptoms xx

Have you tried water fasting.
When early menarche is combined with later pregnancy does it ups the risk for cancer?
I am not a medical professional so cannot answer that sorry
Thanks for sharing your story , I’m 27 and I was just diagnosed a week ago, I have a amazing doctor and I am already on HRT and Vitamin c and d3. Take care wish you all the best
Samra H Best of luck Samra xxx
You are amazing x I was 13 too back in 1984.
Oh gosh, i bet there was even less help then, at least its slowly getting more awareness x
Thank you so much for this video❤
I hope it helps xx
Hi ! Thank you for sharing ! I am in the same boat . Can you share with me what you did ?
Hi Gris, in what respect? I'm on HRT and now have a 1 year old son via egg donation which is available to see the process on my channel :) xxx
I'm 22 and my FSH level was at 146.3 2 days ago... no official diagnosis yet but I'm suspecting pof/poi.
all the best getting your diagnosis 😘❤
Thanks for sharing your story!
thank you for watching :)

My health is good, im a fitness instructor. I have some signs of thinning bones but other than that my health is normal
are you in HRT ??
because my dr. said that i have to take medicine till 35 years
@@betterme3514 yes I'm on hrt
I am worried to go on HRT as mom had Endometrical cancer and HRT increases risk of one .Please help me to decide.
I can't help you make those decisions. HRT is different for those with early menopause then those of menopause age. I highly recommend contacting The Daisy network who are a charity for our condition with advice from medical professionals x
We are living in so advance life but there is no remedies to treat ovarian failure..its so much unexpected.Wish in future some one could come up with medicines to overcome from ovarian failure.
Definitely, hopefully one day x
I think I’m going through this now. I’m 35 and I have missed three periods- and my ovulation test are positive every day. I’m having hot flashes and tired all the time. I started my period at nine and been regular my whole life. Although yours started a lot earlier in life than even most early menopause. I thank you for this video.
oh bless you! I'm sorry for your experience and diagnosis :(
Amanda Dawn Thank you and hugs to you!
I just got diagnosed today
I don't know what to do anymore
I’m am 17 years old and was diagnosed with POF 2 years ago, the pill makes me gain weight and I have absolutely no eggs and it’s pretty shit
its tough so sorry you were diagnosed so young, i have been there. sending hugs xx
Im going through it too. Very stressful.
Sending well wishes
@@AmandaDawn87 thank you so much for your quick reply, omg, ur making me homesick as well 😥😥
I had my first menstruation period when I was 10 years just like yours. I’m 19 now but I’m not facing any problems as such. But I’m really scared now. Am I also going to have premature menopause?
no unless they stop which could be due to a number of reasons.
hey amanda m from india...and i also went through the same thing
💓I’m in a similar situation
Amanda, do you have an email where someone can reach you?
